I have a question about Google Shopping Feed in Magento Community 1.7.0.2
Is there a good plugin which i can use to build this? Did some research through Google but I didn't get a good response. The budget is low so for free would be awesome :)
I've seen the Google Shopping API, but that one is only for Magento Connect.
Thanks for all the tips!
I've used the Helloostore plugin, it's quite cheap and works allright
Magento comes with a built in google feed builder. Is there something specific you are trying to do that you cant do with the built in feature?

I'm working on launching on a website soon which may be categorized as a news source. I have searched everywhere how I can enable this module for my website which scans your domain and automatically generates a list of top 5 shared links from your domain.
This is a really awesome module to promote such websites.
Does anyone know how this can be enabled ? Is it a paid feature?
There's the Recommendations plugin, which sounds like what you're looking for.
I have a personal website which built on WordPress. Now, I'm going to create a simple iOS app for it which enables my readers to read and comment on the posts, view the archive, ... usual stuff.
Since I'm using WordPress and my website is something very common, I was wondering if there are any free out of the box toolbox or something for this purpose?
Are you using WPTouch already?

I'd like to create a website where people can post artworks they create, open for ratings and categorized by their vote count.
Would a certain CMS be good for it or should I try coding one from scratch?
WordPress should be good enough
Joomla is a very verbose and well supported open source free CMS.
I'm looking for a sample project that uses Zend Framework so that I can see how masters do it.
I'm not looking for something that uses other stuff like smarty, or any other major library.
There are plenty of samples for different subjects on sites like zendcast.com but I need a full working solution.
I couldn't come up with anything like that by googling.
I came accross this a while ago, it has a sectoion on Central authentication

Is this a good idea?
We are making a full open source CMS, based on Zend Framework: Centurion CMS (http://www.centurion-project.org/).
We are working on it since more than 2 years. The project is under the new BSD licence.
Feel free to try, use, pull feature, make some push request, criticize...

Social Engine 4 is what you are asking for but its not free nor open source . The best application ever created using ZF has became even more popular then Zend itself (google trend) its known as "Magento". Its open source and based on best programming practices (design patterns) .
Social Engine 4 projects are built on Zend Framework.
Social Engine 3 used smarty but they decided to move to Zend.

I need to have the statistics of a web site and generate reports. I am using Liferay portal. Is there anything built-in for web analytics in Liferay? if yes, please help how to configure it?
Thanks,
Dhananjay
I think adding Google Analytics to your portal's theme is your best bet. How to do that is described here.
I've put together a short tutorial on setting up Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools in the latest version of Liferay. It's very straight forward gives you tonnes of feedback on who's accessing your site. Hope it's of use to you: Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics in Liferay
Liferay has first class support for Google-Analytics, if you want to moniter entire site with one GA ID its there and also it supports if you want to monitor each community with different GA ID.
You can set this on every community, go to
Settings > Monitor >
and set your GA IDs
