Reference uploaded JAR library

I've billed set of support function into helper.jar library and imported to Databricks cluster. The jar is installed on the cluster, but I'm not able to reference the functions in the library.
The jar import has been tested, cluster restarted and the jar can be referenced in InelliJ where it was developed as Azure Spark/HDInsight project.
//next line generates error value helper is not a member of org.apache.spark.sql.SparkSession
import helper
//nex line generates error: not found: value fn_conversion
display(df.withColumn("RevenueConstantUSD", fn_conversion($"Revenue"))
I'd expect the helper function would be visible after library deployment or possibly after adding the import command.
Edit: added information about IntelliJ project type

Can't import Jena classes

I'm setting up Jena in eclipse. However, when I try to import any class, such as the Model class, I am getting the error "The import com.hp cannot be resolved". I already set up the build path to the Jena library. Below is a picture of my simple setup and as you can see I am getting an error on the import statement.

The package tree starts org.apache.jena for Jena version 3 onwards. Your IDE can help by finding the class Model

Orbeon Forms - Compile error in IntelliJ IDEA - util.Try

I am trying to compile Orbeon Forms in IntelliJ IDEA 14.0.1 Community Edition, but I am getting compile errors.
Checked out the branch origin/4.7-ce
Opened the project with IntelliJ
Got on error: Load error: undefined path variables. MESSAGE is undefined. Fix it
Fixed the MESSAGE error by entering C:\temp as the value. I don't know if this matters.
Installed the Scala and File Watchers plugins
Configured the Java SDK as jdk1.7.0_09
Removed the scala-sdk that was referencing non-existent scala compiler, library, reflect jars in my $USER_HOME\.ivy2\cache directory.
Installed the Scala 2.10.3 SDK and configured as a library in the project.
Make Project
Got 94 errors, all related to the util and xml packages. I would have expected the packages to be scala.util and scala.xml.
Example errors:
orbeon-forms\src\main\scala\org\orbeon\oxf\common\PEVersion.scala
Error:(34, 8) object Try is not a member of package util<br/>
import util.Try
orbeon-forms\src\main\scala\org\orbeon\oxf\fb\AlertsAndConstraintsOps.scala<br/>
Error:(46, 9) type mismatch;<br/>
found : scala.xml.Elem<br/>
required: org.orbeon.saxon.om.NodeInfo<br/>
toXML currentLang<br/>
What am I doing wrong?
I was able to fix this error by changing the import from:
import util.Try to import scala.util.Try
There were other files that had the same issue with the scala.xml package.
The full list of files I changed is:
src\main\scala\org\orbeon\oxf\common\PEVersion.scala
src\main\scala\org\orbeon\oxf\fr\mongodb\MongoDBPersistence.scala
src\main\scala\org\orbeon\oxf\fr\process\ProcessInterpreter.scala

JPA metamodel not recognized with Netbeans 7.4

I have a web application that is working fine under Netbeans 7.3. When I installed it on another computer with Netbeans 7.4, all references to the JPA metamodel are now undefined.
The import statements referring to the metamodel (those ending with an underscore, like the 3rd import statement below) are not recognized :
import bfMetier.ApplicationInitialise;
import entites.Locations;
import entites.Locations_;
And when I run the project, it aborts with a «cannot find symbol Locations_» error :
SEVERE: Exception while loading the app : EJB Container initialization error
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
(...)
Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Uncompilable source code - cannot find symbol
symbol: class Locations_
location: package entites
at beansFacades.LocationsFacade.<clinit>(LocationsFacade.java:10)
I'm using ecclipse as the JPA 2.0 provider and running the app under Glassfish 3.1.2.2.
Is there any parameter I need to add in order for the metamodel classes to be generated?
Thanks!
I created a new java project in 7.4 and found some differences...
There is no option in context menu for generating classes from database (like 7.3).
I found this option in New Java Class... Persistence category.
The entity generated by 7.4 do not have metadata classes.
Might be, the metadata classes are no longer generated/or needed by netbeans.

EclipseLink JPA 2.0. "unknown enum constant javax.persistence.LockModeType.NONE"

I have a Glassfish v3 with a remote EJB. I use this EJB to manipulate a data base using EclipseLink. Regarding this question, i'm now trying to import the EclipseLink jars to my client application as #James suggested.
Here are the jars i have added so far, those jars are those added on the server side of my application.
eclipselink-2.3.2.jar
javax.persistence-2.0.3.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.antlr.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.asm.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.core.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.jpql_1.0.1.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.modelgen.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.moxy.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.oracle.jar
But when i try to compile my netbeans module, i got this error:
error: in class file javax/persistence/NamedQuery.class(javax/persistence:NamedQuery.class): unknown enum constant javax.persistence.LockModeType.NONE
Note: Attempting to workaround javac bug #6512707
warning: No processor claimed any of these annotations: [javax.ejb.Remote]
error: in class file javax/persistence/NamedQuery.class(javax/persistence:NamedQuery.class): unknown enum constant javax.persistence.LockModeType.NONE
1 error
Why?
The error seems like you have the JPA 1.0 jar first on your classpath, but need the JPA 2.0 classes.
