I'm looking for a widget which can be dynamically resized. I need to append and remove rows.
There are a methods coming with Grid, like gtk_grid_insert_row or gtk_grid_insert_next_to, but I don't find any xxx_remove_xxx method.
I'm developing a simple http client (to test an api). And I'm adding the possibility to append and remove "GET" variables dynamically.
The UI is made with rows containing a combobox (for variable selection), an entry (for its value) and on the last row a remove button.
Every time I set a variable, a new line (new available variable) is appended.
And every time I unset a variable, the corresponding line is removed.
thanks.
Gtk.Grid doesn't have a remove method; but Gtk.Container does. Since Grid is a Container, you can use gtk_container_remove.
The docs for this are here:
https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/3.8/GtkContainer.html#gtk-container-remove
I think the widget you are looking for is Gtk.ListBox. It's a container so you can add and remove rows easily.

is it possible to configure agGrid grouping so that it behaves like an accordion i.e. only one group can be expanded and when opening new group previously opened is closed?
Not sure if this answers your question, but I am sure this might be the only direction you'll have.
There is a method provided on gridApi - onGroupExpandedOrCollapsed
So I think (again, need to check) that this function would be called as its name suggests, and you can collapse the other rows (whichever is opened) and achieve your functionality.
Be cautious while using this as there is comment given by ag-grid
we don't really want the user calling this if one one rowNode was
expanded, instead they should be calling rowNode.setExpanded(boolean)
- this way we do a 'keepRenderedRows=false' so that the whole grid gets refreshed again - otherwise the row with the rowNodes that were
changed won't get updated, and thus the expand icon in the group cell
won't get 'opened' or 'closed'.
I need to slightly modify a ag-grid row after it has been rendered. In ag-grid, the actual HTML elements are not necessarily persistent, so manually-set styles may fall off.
For one thing, I have to modify the selection checkbox to set its tabindex to -1. This can technically be done in the cellRenderer callback, although it looks quite hacky. (The checkbox can be found at params.eGridCell.children[0].children[0].wrappedElement.)
But I also have to add a CSS class to some rows to highlight them based on external criteria. I haven't found a way to do this at all.
The best solution would seem to be using some sort of after-rendering callback, but to my knowledge no such thing exists.
I found a couple of related questions, but they were both resolved via cellStyle, which would not suffice here:
Row formatting in ag-Grid
How to provide a background color for an entire row in ag grid based on a certain value in a column?
You have not 1 but 3 options:
getRowClass(params):
Callback version of property 'rowClass'. Function should return a string or an array of strings.
getRowStyle(params):
Callback version of property 'rowStyle'. Function should return an object of CSS values.
processRowPostCreate(params):
Allows you to process rows after they are created. So do final adding of custom attributes etc.
In this last one you have the row in params.eRow.

As you know, dgrid 0.4 now uses the dstore package instead of dojo's store. Using the Rest.js in dstore, I simply want to add a new row to the dgrid using a rest call. This works fine. However, it adds the row at the end (as the last row) of the dgrid. I need to add the row at the beginning (making the newly added row the first row of the dgrid). Inside Rest.js, there is a variable called defaultNewToStart which I figured would do the trick, but even when set to true, dgrid still adds the row at the end. Any advice on how to get Rest.js in dstore to add a row to the beginning of the dgrid.
I figured out what I did wrong. In dgrid/OnDemandGrid, I set the property "sort", which was causing the queryExecutor in Trackable.js to put the newly added row at the end instead of the beginning. So all I had to do was remove the sort property, and now it works fine.
The add function of dstore/Memory supports PutDirectives as second argument other than the item you are trying to insert. PutDirectives has a property beforeId which can be used to insert the item before any existing record in store.
To add an empty row at the beginning:
var beforeID = null;
store.fetch().forEach(lang.hitch(this, function(data) { beforeId = data.id;}));
store.add({id: ''}, {beforeId: beforeID});
I have a form and a series of panels containing inputs inside it, as a list. When I click the add button, the form is submitted and a new item is added into this form. Input inside a newly created panel gets date-picking behavior. The problem is that it cancels behavior applied to inputs which already were on that form (added previously). Inputs in other forms are not affected.
Each field behavior is applied onto has unique name. Values inside inputs are processed correctly.
How to preserve behavior applied on old inputs?
How to preserve behavior applied on old inputs?
You probably put your input fields into a ListView, right? If so, try calling ListView.setReuseItems(true). This setting makes sure that when you add something to the listview and it is rendered again that the old items (with the old input fields and their behaviors) will be kept instead of creating new ones.
I have a data-grid and three column in it. one column is type of DataGridViewComboBoxCell, three items are in this grid combo box, now i have to invoke selection index changed event to change value according to combo value change in grid.
also help me to make a new event ....
please help...
thanks
I really can't understand your question.
But maybe these informations can help:
A ComboBoxColumn has always two kinds of controls. A presenting one (in most cases a label) which is individually for each row. And a editing one that will be shared for the whole column. So take a look into this documentation and the IDataGridViewEditingControl Interface.
Maybe these will give you a starting point on how to solve your problem.
In the Load event for the form, you need to get the cell that you want to add the handler to and cast it as a regular combo box. You can then add the event handler on SelectedIndexChanged, but it must be done programmatically, and depending on the language you are using.
