Since the API have changed all the times i try to pay with a developper test business i get an error like this :
array (
'TIMESTAMP' => '2013-04-04T21:30:54Z',
'CORRELATIONID' => 'c1929df7ab60a',
'ACK' => 'Failure',
'VERSION' => '97',
'BUILD' => '5618210',
'L_ERRORCODE0' => '10002',
'L_SHORTMESSAGE0' => 'Security error',
'L_LONGMESSAGE0' => 'Security header is not valid',
'L_SEVERITYCODE0' => 'Error',
)
This is the call i make :
https://api-3t.sandbox.paypal.com/nvp?VERSION=97
METHOD=SetExpressCheckout&
CANCELURL=http://url.com&
RETURNURL=http://url.com&
PAYMENTREQUEST_0_AMT=78&
PAYMENTREQUEST_0_CURRENCYCODE=EUR&
PAYMENTREQUEST_0_PAYMENTACTION=SALE&
PAYMENTREQUEST_0_CUSTOM=2856
But all the data in the API call is rightly filled.
I can't add a business account to my developper account.
Just befoire the API changes everything was fine, maybe i'm missing something ? Thank you
I was getting the same problem. I change the parameter name PAYMENTREQUEST_0_AMT to AMT and PAYMENTREQUEST_0_PAYMENTACTION to PAYMENTACTION and that works well. Hope so it works for you as well.
Double check your credentials you are passing over, try copying them again and make sure there is not extra white space before or after your credentials.
Are you missing "&" after https://api-3t.sandbox.paypal.com/nvp?VERSION=97 <--- missing "&"
So you must change to : https://api-3t.sandbox.paypal.com/nvp?VERSION=97&METHOD=SetExpressCheckout&...
Hope this help, thank.

I was wondering if anybody has experience using the USAePay billing module? I have reached out to the developer and his response was he does not have time to help people. My problem is this -
I have written the following code to add a customer's billing information using the Sandbox server but it looks as though the module defaults to the production server so each time I attempt to validate the transaction I get the response -
Card was rejected: Specified source key not found.
How do I tell it to use the Sandbox server?
use strict;
use warnings;
use Business::OnlinePayment;
use constant {
LOGIN => 'source key', #USAePay source key
PASSWORD => '12345', #USAePay PIN
};
my $tx = new Business::OnlinePayment("USAePay");
$tx->content(
login => LOGIN,
password => PASSWORD,
type => 'CC',
action => 'Recurring Authorization',
description => 'Business::OnlinePayment test',
amount => '49.95',
invoice_number => '100100',
name => 'Tofu Beast',
card_number => '4000100011112224',
expiration => '09/19',
address => '1234 Bean Curd Lane',
city => 'San Francisco',
state => 'CA',
zip => '94102',
);
$tx->submit();
if($tx->is_success()) {
print 'Card processed successfully: '.$tx->authorization.'\n';
} else {
print 'Card was rejected: '.$tx->error_message."\n";
}
As Business::OnlinePayment::USAePay is a processor for Business::OnlinePayment, but doesn't have a lot of docs itself, a look at the docs of Business::OnlinePayment might help. It reveales the test_transaction method.
Most processors provide a test mode, where submitted transactions will not actually be charged or added to your batch, calling this function with a true argument will turn that mode on if the processor supports it, or generate a fatal error if the processor does not support a test mode (which is probably better than accidentally making real charges).
An untested example:
my $tx = new Business::OnlinePayment("USAePay");
$tx->test_transaction; # here
$tx->content(
login => LOGIN,
password => PASSWORD,
type => 'CC',
action => 'Recurring Authorization',
description => 'Business::OnlinePayment test',
amount => '49.95',
invoice_number => '100100',
name => 'Tofu Beast',
card_number => '4000100011112224',
expiration => '09/19',
address => '1234 Bean Curd Lane',
city => 'San Francisco',
state => 'CA',
zip => '94102',
);
$tx->submit();
Digging a bit deeper in the source of Business::OnlinePayment::USAePay shows that this particular processor actually has three different test modes.
# test_transaction(0): normal mode
# 1 : test mode (validates formatting only)
# 2 : use sandbox server
# 3 : test mode on sandbox server
It looks like you can set the server details in the constructor - it takes an optional hash of parameters beyond the processor name.
Have you tried something like:
my $tx = new Business::OnlinePayment(
"USAePay",
Server => 'https://sandbox.usaepay.com/gate'
);
This question has been posted elsewhere however I have not found a specific answer yet.
What I want to do is simply change the amount (AMT) of a PayPal recurring payments profile from say £55.00 to £60.00. The amount is all I want to change. I am using the below to do this:
$request_params = array
(
'USER' => $api_username,
'PWD' => $api_password,
'SIGNATURE' => $api_signature,
'VERSION' => $api_version,
'METHOD' => 'UpdateRecurringPaymentsProfile',
'PROFILEID' => 'I-R159ACHCUJHF',
'AMT' => '60.00',
'NOTE' => 'Re-adjust amount to £60'
);
OR
&USER=xxxxxxx&PWD=123456789&SIGNATURE=xyxyxyxyxyxyx&VERSION=85.0&METHOD=UpdateRecurringPaymentsProfile&PROFILEID=I-R159ACHCUJHF&AMT=11.00&NOTE=Re-adjust+amount+to+%C2%A360&TAXAMT=0.00
So I guess my question is can this be done using the fields above only or do you know if I am missing some other variables that are required possibly?
On another note, when I run this on the sandbox I get the following error:
Array
(
[TIMESTAMP] => 2014-11-28T10:11:36Z
[CORRELATIONID] => 9a5452736a159
[ACK] => Failure
[L_ERRORCODE0] => 10001
[L_SHORTMESSAGE0] => Internal Error
[L_LONGMESSAGE0] => Timeout processing request
)
Does anyone understand what this means and if it relates to the way I am requesting the change in amount (AMT) in the params above?
Many thanks in advance.
According to the example I'm cribbing from, you also need to pass CURRENCYCODE. The only example I could actually find was on PayPal Developer Brazil:
https://www.paypal-brasil.com.br/desenvolvedores/code-sample/recurring-payments-php/
I'm trying to set up PayPal address_override at my shop checkout as my customers have already filled in their delivery details.
I'm using express checkout, and following on from reading the documentation here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-standard/integration-guide/formbasics/
I've got the following basic set up added into my working express checkout code (perl file):
# -- build the request for Paypal
my $response = $useragent->post($api_endpoint,
[
'METHOD' => 'SetExpressCheckout',
'VERSION' => '3.0',
'PWD' => $API_PASSWORD,
'USER' => $API_USERNAME,
'SIGNATURE' => $API_SIGNATURE,
'Amt' => $amount,
'PAYMENTACTION' => 'Sale',
'ReturnUrl' => $returnurl,
'CANCELURL' => $cancelurl,
'CURRENCYCODE' => $API_CURRENCYCODE,
'address_override' => '1',
'address1' => $d_address1,
'address2' => $d_address2,
'city' => $d_city,
'country' => $country,
'zip' => $d_post_code
]
);
However this isn't overriding the address when I get through to my PayPal account, it's still just showing my stored addresses.
I've read this post:
Paypal | Website Payment Standard | Adddress Override
And this one:
Paypal Address Override not working
Hopefully someone can show me where I'm going wrong, or if I've missed a step! Any help appreciated.
I may be wrong here but that API link you've pasted doesn't look like it's the same API that the rest of your code sample is using?
Searching for SetExpressCheckout leads to this page: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/merchant/SetExpressCheckout_API_Operation_NVP/
I think you need to use the ADDROVERRIDE parameter instead of address_override and whatever else you need from that page.
OK, I'm trying to use Hybridauth with laravel 4. However I seem to be getting the very common when trying to log in with facebook:
Authentication failed! Facebook returned an invalid user id.
I have read all the other posts, and have had no luck, so just hoping someone may be able to help me.
I followed this tutorial: http://www.mrcasual.com/on/coding/laravel4-package-management-with-composer/
And have tried several other configurations to no success.
Here is my config/hybridauth.php
<?php
return array(
"base_url" => "http://myapp.dev/social/auth/",
"providers" => array (
"Facebook" => array (
"enabled" => true,
"keys" => array ( "id" => "****", "secret" => "****" ),
),
),
);
And here is my route:
Route::get('social/{action?}', array("as" => "hybridauth", function($action = "")
{
// check URL segment
if ($action == "auth") {
// process authentication
try {
Hybrid_Endpoint::process();
}
catch (Exception $e) {
// redirect back to http://URL/social/
return Redirect::route('hybridauth');
}
return;
}
try {
// create a HybridAuth object
$socialAuth = new Hybrid_Auth(app_path() . '/config/hybridauth.php');
// authenticate with Facebook
$provider = $socialAuth->authenticate("Facebook");
// fetch user profile
$userProfile = $provider->getUserProfile();
}
catch(Exception $e) {
// exception codes can be found on HybBridAuth's web site
return $e->getMessage();
}
// access user profile data
echo "Connected with: <b>{$provider->id}</b><br />";
echo "As: <b>{$userProfile->displayName}</b><br />";
echo "<pre>" . print_r( $userProfile, true ) . "</pre><br />";
// logout
$provider->logout();
}));
So, when I access "myapp.dev/social" I'm brought to the facebook sign up page everthing seems to work fine, asks me to allow permissions to myadd.dev. After I click OK I am brought to the following URL: http://myapp.ie/social#_=_ where the error is displayed.
Not sure if this is relevant:
Just from observing other sites that in-cooperate a facebook login.. the redirect URL looks something like http://somesite.dev/subdomain/#_=_ . In other words they have a slash before the #=. Is this my problem, how do I fix it?? Very new to hybridauth so any help greatly appreciated thanks.
Oh I do realize that this post is very similar to other posts but I have yet to find a solution.
UPDATE: the exact error: Authentification failed. The user has canceled the authentication or the provider refused the connection.
In base_facebook.php do following
public static $CURL_OPTS = array(
CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT => 50,
CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER => true,
CURLOPT_TIMEOUT => 60,
CURLOPT_USERAGENT => 'facebook-php-3.2',
CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER => false,
CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST => false,
);
protected $trustForwarded = true;
protected $allowSignedRequest = false;
CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER => false,
CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST => false
at modules/hybridauth/Hybrid/thirdparty/Facebook/base_facebook.php:128
solved!
For anyone else this is what worked for me: I reset app secret and now works great. No idea why my first app secret key did not work. Spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to fix this error.
Had this error in the past. Solved by modyfying Hybridauth's code myself.
In thirdparty/Facebook/base_facebook.php make sure $CURL_OPTS array uses:
CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER => false
In my case I was closing session files for performance improvements so I added:
session_start()
inside Storage.php wherever HA::STORE session var is being updated/unset.
Let me know if it helps.
CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER => false & resetting my app secret key didn't work for me. I was getting this error because of some conflict with privileges I had previously setup. Removing the app from my facebook account did the trick (under privacy settings -> apps).
REMOVE THE TRAILING SLASH !!! (in config/hybridauth.php)
"base_url" => "http://myapp.dev/social/auth/",
should be
"base_url" => "http://myapp.dev/social/auth",
My case was a little bit more specific, but just in case: Be carefull with redirects!
I had an SSL Certificate installed and a redirect to force the user over https, but when I first configured HybridAuth I didn't took this into account. The facebook request was being redirected over to https causing the $_REQUEST data to be lost in the process.
For me the change was, in Hybrid/config.php:
"base_url" => "http://my-site.com/"
to
"base_url" => "https://my-site.com/"
I was having the same issue (although using HybridAuth on Yii) and turns out my app on Facebook was still in Sandbox mode. No source code changes needed on HybridAuth, just needed to turn off Sandbox Mode for the app and suddenly everything worked. Hope this helps.
This happened to me because my SSL is terminated in AWS's load balancer
Just update the config file in your app/config to include the trustForwarded setting
<?php
return array(
'base_url' => 'http://website.com/oauth/auth',
'providers' => array (
'Facebook' => array (
'enabled' => true,
'keys' => array ( 'id' => 'redacted', 'secret' => 'redacted' ),
'trustForwarded' => true,
),
),
);
I had the exact same error message on a wordpress installation using Hybridauth. To find the problem I set up an isolated test with the Facebook PHP SDK (which Hybridauth uses) just to find out that curl_exec was not enabled on my host. Happily, an easy fix.
If you are on apache open you php.ini and delete curl_exec from this line:
disable_functions = curl_exec
Reload your apache configuration and voila :)
Hope this will help somebody.

The appID for sandbox and live are different. For sandbox, everyone must use APP-80W284485P519543T. For live, you must use the ID that matches the app's credentials.
