I'm trying to install NOMINATIM, under the instruction
point first installation instructions for the team of Make getting following error:

/usr/local/bin/protoc-c --proto_path=protobuf --c_out=.
Missing input file.

I'd say you probably need to use GNU make (gmake); lots of software isn't properly tested with other make flavours.
If that's not the case please supply details - compiler and make version, configure/autoconf/automake versions if you're using them, etc.

I'm completely new to microcontroller programming and I'm facing my first problem.
I'm following tutorials and web documentation in order to starting with STM32 libraries, I tried to add CMSIS and HAL drivers into my stm32IDE but every time I try to build a huge quantity of errors occure. Someone can explain to me what is wrong ?

You are trying to compile the IAR startup files with the GCC compiler. The startup assembler file that you want is under the directory gcc. The two assemblers have different syntax.
I successfully installed coq 8.9.1 and coq-quickchick 1.1.0 with opam 2.0.4 and I'm programming on emacs 26.1.
However, when running a QuickChick command I received the following error:
Error: Could not compile mli file
Any ideas of what I can do?
Also, I have tried to include the following command before the QuickChick command:
"QuickChickDebug Debug On."
Still, no success and no instructive message was provided.
You can try to manually extract and compile.
A first idea is to replace QuickChick my_prop. with Extraction TestCompile my_prop., which will also try to compile.
There is also Separate Extraction my_prop. (assuming my_prop is an identifier), which just outputs .ml files so you can compile them by hand and see what is wrong.
There are other variants of extraction worth knowing about:
https://coq.inria.fr/distrib/current/refman/addendum/extraction.html#generating-ml-code
Can you compile the file from command line? If you can, you can open emacs from the command line and re-run and see.
BTW, what's your OS? I have the same problem on OS X Catalina and the problem comes from the privacy policy of Catalina I guess.
I am on a raspbian stretch system with the spur32 VM for ARM and a Pharo 7 image. At Startup I always get an exception: Error - Module not found.
It seems to have to do with lgitlibrary. I really cannot figure out what this error is about.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Henrik
I see. If you check #unixModuleName
unixModuleName
| pluginDir |
pluginDir := Smalltalk vm binary parent.
#('libgit2.so' 'libgit2.so.0')
detect: [ :each | (pluginDir / each) exists ]
ifFound: [ :libName | ^ libName ].
self error: 'Module not found.'
Here you have your error message: self error: 'Module not found.'
You probably have libgit2.so or libgit2.so.0 missing (or dependencies). You may suffer with similar problem as me: Getting error when adding OSSubprocess to my Pharo 6.1 on Centos 7.4x.
You should check the dependencies with ldd (check my question for details).
Edit Adding information due to comment:
I have yet to use IceBerg (the Pharo's git integration). My guess, would be to "(re-)initialize it": (Smalltalk at: #LGitLibrary) initialize.
For more information, I recommend reading these: pharo's iceberg and some Pharo project that uses git like pharo-contributor and checking blog pharoweekly (for some information about the pharo-contributor) - https://pharoweekly.wordpress.com/2018/04/24/pharo-contributor-to-contribute-to-pharo.
You may want to use some guide "How to use git and github with Pharo". Which was done by Peter Uhnak (you can find him on SO).
I had the similar problem and I needed to build libgit2 library from source using this instructions. The basic build didn't work because Pharo wasn't able to initialize the library. I compiled it again with parameter -DSTDCALL=ON an it works.
When converting to use the new build system on Xcode 10, I get the following error in my output for several of my extension targets.
<unknown>:0: error: if any output files are specified, they all must be
Command CompileSwift failed with a nonzero exit code
I have looked for a solution online, but the only reference I can find to this error is in the Swift compiler source code itself.
https://www.google.com/search?q=error_if_any_output_files_are_specified_they_all_must_be
Does anyone know how this error is actually triggered, or what I can do to fix it?
Ok, I had the same problem with one of our projects. Building or Archiving are always stopped with the error <unknown>:0: error: if any output files are specified, they all must be.
The solution for us was to set Compilation Mode to Incremental instead of Whole Module.
This means, you have to ignore the Validate Project Settings warning:
I'm attempting to generate an Xcode project and am getting:
error: reachedTimeLimit
Unfortunately I don't see a lot of help googling this error nor does there appear to be a way to extend whatever the current time limit is from the command line.
Any ideas?
There is a hardcoded 10 second time limit for package resolving baked into SPM - see the code in DependencyResolver.swift.
Line 1365 has let timeLimit = 10, and there is no way of changing this externally, except of course building your own version of SPM with a higher timeout.
I haven't dug deep enough into the resolver algorithm, but it seems that your dependency tree is pretty complex for the resolving to take so long.
