I think you may have fallen fowl of one of the following passages, but you will need to do a little research.
III. Content > 3
"b. You can only utilize advertising or similar monetization related products or services from companies that appear on this list of Advertising Providers within Apps on Facebook.com."
http://developers.facebook.com/adproviders/
VIII. Branding and Promotion Policy
You must follow the guidelines set forth in the Facebook Brand Resource and Permissions Center.
Your app's description, display name and icons must adhere to our Advertising Guidelines.
I hope this is helpful.

How to publish free unity game to Google Play?

I have several questions:
Unity gives a default company and youtube tutorials shows the guys always enter a company name. Must I do the same although Im a solo developer? do I enter a random name?
One tutorial shows that there is no need to change the api level (the default is the highest installed) where as another tutorial shows that you must change the api level to Google Plays (current level 31)
In the Google Console there is a privacy policy url, what is that and must I provide one?
There is an option to tick whether your game have ads, does it mean that other can insert ads into the game or something I provide?, also is it recommended although my game is pretty simple
Here are the answers to your questions:
Yes, you can randomly put any company name you want to, but keep in mind that when you publish a game again, it would be better if it's under the same company name; that'll help you grow better. If you're still interested in more about privacy and company laws, here's the detailed video that I would suggest.
Here are the Google Play's API level requirement:
When you upload an APK, it must meet Google Play's target API level
requirements. New apps must target Android 12 (API level 31) or
higher; except for Wear OS apps, which must target Android 11 (API
level 30) or higher.
There is no specific standard for a privacy policy. Looking at some favourite apps' approaches will help you know how to write a privacy policy. Here's an example: PRIVACY_POLICY.md.
Google Play's support page now mentions that:
All developers that have an app published on Google Play must complete
the Data safety form, including apps on internal, closed, open, or
production testing tracks.
Even developers with apps that do not collect any user data are
required to complete this form and provide a link to their privacy
policy. In this case, the completed form and privacy policy can
indicate that no user data is collected or shared.
For ads, you must enable ads through code too. Here's a simple example of UnityAds. There are three types of ads in an app generally:
Interstitial Ads: These ads are shown somewhere, like when you have switched scenes, clicked on something special etc.
Rewarded Ads: These ads are shown when the user gets in-game rewards like a powerup or get some coins by watching the ads.
Banner Ads: These ads in your app; whenever someone opens your app, they'll be shown an ad at the bottom of your screen.
You can add any of these ads in your application, and google accordingly will show ads in your app of some other apps/games.
If you wish to show your ads in your own app, you have to enable cross promo ads for that, and implement them accordingly in your app. And if you want to show your app ads to some other apps then you need to give ads to Google Ads and set your budget accordingly
And for its last part, No, it isn't necessary to show ads in your game if you. Ads are only necessary if you wish to earn some bucks from it. So I would recommend you make your app worth people's use. Then if it's showing a good response, you can enable your ads after that; otherwise, there's no need to have a headache adding ads in your app.
Yes, that's your pick.
Now it requires at least 30.
Yes, it's a must.
If you want to monetize your game, you have to implement ads in the game.

Q: Facebook Business Manager - manage Pages (ads)

I'm having trouble finding solution for my client's new web app - within this app, customers will be able to create ads for facebook, instagram and google (and others in future), all from 1 place. So, somehow I need to be able to manage ads for customers' Pages. For personal accounts it's "quite simple", through ads manager, big green button 'Add people', but I need this permission for Pages, not for personal accounts.
We already have approved "ads_management", "ads_read" and "manage_pages" (I'm not 100% sure if we'll need manage_pages permission) - we'll probably ask for "Ads Management Standard Access" too.
After some research, I think this whole thing might be possible through Business Manager (so we'll need "business_management" permission too, right?), then in app settings, there's business manager ID input (for linking business account with app).
Here's my proposed solution (simplified):
in our web app, customers will provide us with url/ID of their Page
api call to check whether logged-in user is administrator of provided Page
api call to add this Page to Business manager (send invitation)
api call to check if user/Page has accepted invitation - if so, we'll be able to manage their ads
Question is, is this (very simplified) solution possible? Will it work? There are dozens of APIs and I'm not sure I picked the right one.
Development is at early stage, so we don't have any in-depth research yet.
Something very similar might be here - Facebook ads, add customer page to business manager but it's 2 years old and after all scandals, there were a lot of changes in APIs, so I'm not sure whether it's still actual.
Thanks in advance

Facebook keeps rejecting application

My company's Facebook app has been in operation for a few years, but with the recent API upgrade, Facebook now requires apps to be submitted for approval if you need certain permissions.
This app adds a page tab, which requires the manage_pages permission. Facebook has rejected the app several times, providing the following reason:
We could not reproduce the requested permission. Please submit
detailed, step-by-step English instructions in the "Add Notes" section
of the permission, and make sure to provide the relevant version of
your app.
Things I've done:
provided step-by-step instructions, with supporting screenshots for each step
had multiple people test those steps to ensure the login process and page tab work as expected
read through all of the supporting documentation and submission articles
Unfortunately, Facebook provides no option to contact their reviewers.
Has anyone else hit a wall when submitting a Facebook app for approval? And if so, were you able to figure out the issue or contact the reviewer?
That's unfortunate... I think there have been such cases. If you think everything is correct with your review submission, I'd recommend that you post a message to https://www.facebook.com/groups/fbdevelopers/ There are FB engineers monitoring the group, I guess they could give you some help or contact the right persons.
Good luck!

How to get facebook app approved on App center?

I have submitted our facebook app for App center review, but it has been in pending status for 10 days, according to facebook App center guideline http://developers.facebook.com/docs/appcenter/guidelines/ "Once it has enough positive ratings and engagement, we will automatically review your app detail page and contact you if any changes are needed before it appears in a category."
Could anyone please tell me after a facebook app submitted for review, how to get enough positive ratings and engagement? What is exact rating/engagement amount? Where can I see the progress? Any facebook app center contact email?
Any help is appreciated.
Not to disappoint you, but we had our app being reviewed for 4 months and 11 days before our patience ran out. We had 50K users and 400 5* ratings out of 450 total ratings. It is insane how irresponsible FB is regarding reviewing content. We resubmitted the app for review and it took several days before the app was live in App Center.
Positive ratings is when users that installed your app rate it from 1 to 5 stars. Engagement is basically how many users installed your app in total and how many did not remove it within short period of time (the more the better). There is no exact amount, but for example 10K new installs in first week is better than 10K installs in first year, yet the number is the same. Same goes for the progress bar - Facebook has its internal metrics. Good luck with review.
We are unable to submit the application page / details for review in the App Center, because
"Your app does not have high enough ratings and user engagement to be reviewed for the App Center at this time".
I asked some questions about this:
1) How can we improve ratings without being listed in the Facebook App Center?
2) Our user engagement is about the same level as other apps in the same category, which are published in the App Center. What is a critical mass to be eligible for review? Which numbers are relevant?
The response I got from a Facebook developer:
1) We randomly ask users that uses your app to rate it.
2) There are no specific number. Our algorithm takes in as much data as possible and try to figure out if it is a high quality app. But in general if you get bad review you need more active users, And if you have good reviews you need less.
Update:
In our case, we had to disable the web and mobile web implementation in the App details section, because they had too few users (so only Android/iOS was still enabled - our main applications). After that we got approved.
The process for submission app is very tough. We need to strictly follow the guidelines. We need to sure what type of App we are developing and list of permissions are needed. Due to spamming by many Facebook App developers, Facebook app center required exact reason to get approve the required permission.
Here is an example of submission guidelines.
Tags
There may be scenarios where your app's users want to tag a friend. This tagging capability comes in two forms. One scenario is if the user takes an action with the friend (i.e. cooks a pizza with someone), and the other scenario is when the user simply wants to mention a friend (i.e. "Hey John Smith, let's make a pizza next time"). If you choose to choose to support both action and mention tags, clearly distinguish the two different use cases in your submission.
Action tagging appends "- with Friend" to the story.
Mention tagging allows your app's users to tag friends names within their user messages.

Please go through the submission guidelines as well. I hope this will help anyone.
I could upload two of my apps to App Center but now as though I don't have the correct gaming type option to be able to upload one

Ads on a facebook app (game) page

I am working on a facebook application a game and was wondering how to monetize it. I am new to FB and even the ad market place. What is my best bet to get ad revenue? I mean, which provider should I use? Can I use adsense? What are my options? Thanks for your suggestions.
In reaction to a little adverse privacy publicity (see: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/10/18/facebook_apps_privacy_breach/ ) Facebook tightened up their advertising policy around privacy and created an official approved ad provider list here: http://developers.facebook.com/adproviders/ listing ad providers who have agreed to comply with Facebook's privacy policies.
I recently did some searches in the Facebook Developer forums and found that RockYou and LifeStreet Media seem to be the most frequently cited providers.
AdSense is not currently on this list, but many apps do use AdSense.
Currently there is Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) over whether using AdSense in a Facebook app will get your account closed by AdSense, and whether it will get your app banned by Facebook.
Those who believe AdSense might ban you frequently assert that AdSense prohibits ad placement in an iframe, which is the only way to do it as a Facebook app. I have read the AdSense terms and can find no reference to iframes being prohibited. AdSense does expect your page to have meaningful content, which would seem to preclude use in some games or other apps that lack text content (think pure flash apps)
