wrong site description when post new status on LinkedIn - share

I have a strange problem, in my website I use HibrydAuth to share status with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
All runs fine but I have a wrong description for the site in the LinkedIn page. An image could explain better than a lot of words, but I can't post images so, please, try to use a bit of imagination: this is a shared post from my web site
link to the website page
text shared from the website page
Here I have the link to my web site
here I would have the description of the web site
but I have the footer line of the web site
So my question is: how or where I can set the right description?
I checked in the LinkedIn account without result and the HibrydAuth library don't gives me options to set it.
Thank you for your help
Paolo

facebook share box not showing title, description and images

http://gates.cc/works/thisisyours/site/p/fairytale-fashion-collection-61 this is my website url. Here you can see the facebook share using addthis on right side. Please help me what problem in this page. In facebook share box have link only not showing the title, description and the images.
Method 1 :
Facebook treats each url as unique and caches the page based on that url, so if you want to share the latest url the simplest solution is to add a query string with the url being shared. In simple words just add ?v=1 at the end of the url. Any number can be used in place of 1.
Method 2:
Facebook has a tool called Debugger (formerly known as URL Linter). This tool gives us an idea about how a url will be shared on Facebook, what content, which image will be fetched.
I hope this helps

How to change Facebook's shared title and message?

I'm new to Facebook Sharing API. When I put the Facebook Share button in my website, both the message and the title are the URL. Here's the screenshot:
There's even no thumbnails even though there's plenty of pictures in the page.
I have seen other pages that automatically use the first paragraph as the Facebook's message
Is there any specific site layout that I must follow?
Note: I'm using AddThis, so I don't think I can change the code
Thanks
The problem solved when I uploaded the site on Online server. Maybe the API has problem retrieving data from Localhost.
Cheers :)

Creating a Facebook App

I am building a website for a client. He has a Facebook page for his business. On the homepage of his site, he wants a feed that will pull in all the updates from his business' Facebook page.
Now, I felt this would be very easy to implement (maybe it is) but I have scoured the Facebook API for any simple way to do this. I am having a lot of trouble understanding which way I should do this. I've settled on using JS to access it, but have no idea where to go from there.
Do I need to create an app? If so, which options do I select so I can access the clients facebook page?
How do I get my app that I've created to show up so a user can authorize it? I have so many questions, and Facebook isn't very good at giving me answers.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I would suggest you just use the facebook page's RSS feed.
Example
Take his page URL e.g.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lazery-Attack/6001014870
Take the number at the end of the url off, and plug it into the facebook feeds URL e.g.
https://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format=rss20&id=6001014870
Voila, you now have an RSS feed you can integrate into the website you are building.
URL Breakdown
The URL is broken down the following way:
https://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format={feedFormat}&id={PageID}
Vaid feed formats are:
RSS - rss20
Atom - atom10
JSON - json
Other Examples
Atom
https://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format=atom10&id=6001014870
JSON
https://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format=json&id=6001014870
Take a look at the facebook API, right here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/page/
You can give it a try here:
http://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/?method=GET&path=19292868552%2Fposts
The like box: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/ also has the latest posts available
The simplest way is to add a Like Button to the page and make sure "show Stream" is checked on as this will show all recent posts. You can customise the appearance also (e.g. width, height etc).
No App or messy API calls needed!
Try it out here and simply paste the resulting code into your webpage:

Not an app, but the Facebook Social Plugins over here at Facebook For Pages

Page associated with a "like" button on external site isn't in list of Facebook Pages in FB

I have a like button on a blog post here - http://blog.thinkplanrun.com/2012/03/2012-tpr-shoe-madness/ - right now it shows 17 "likes". I am unable to see the FB community page associated with this URL when logged into my FB account. I currently see quite a few other community pages from external URL "likes" and my official FB Fan Page, but not for this specific article. Using the debugging tool (http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug) for this URL it has my admin account listed under admin ... what am I missing?
That blog post is not a page, it is a link.
Instead of trying to view the url in the debug tool, try the Graph API Explorer with the url.
As you can see, it has "link_stat" as the type.
On the other hand, if you use the same tool for your page you'll see that the type is "page".
Why do you want it to be a page?

Having a issue with the "Share" feature Facebook Fan page

My friend has created about 20 Facebook fan page for the website. www.AvailDiscounts.com
Now the issue is, when we click on the wall post to "share" with other friends, its taking to another page where it displays the meta tags and the title of the login page instead of displaying the exact post.
Please find the fan page of the website:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Avail-Discounts-Chicago/195486540483072
How to over come this issue.
The Query can be found in the following link with images:

Please help
As far as i have checked this seems to be an issue with the RSS Graffiti application in Facebook.
You have two issues here:
1) Are you posting the correct link in RSS Graffiti?
It seems all of your fan page links redirect me to the Avail-Discounts-Chicago home page. It's either it is non-existent, deal closed or bad URL supplied.
2) RSS Graffiti posts differently than Share button
RSS Graffiti prepares your data, image link title and description before posting to the page stream. The default Facebook Share button does not. What it does is get the URL, scrape that URL with information, which can be defined through opengraph tags. Make sure your links / deals have their meta:og's.
Your question is a bit vague, and the passing of the auth information is kind of scary, but anyway, I'd make the href of the post something along the lines of this:
http://www.facebook.com/dialog/feed?app_id=123050457758183&link=http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/dialogs/&picture=http://fbrell.com/f8.jpg&name=Facebook%20Dialogs&caption=Reference%20Documentation&description=Dialogs%20provide%20a%20simple,%20consistent%20interface%20for%20applications%20to%20interact%20with%20users.&message=Facebook%20Dialogs%20are%20so%20easy!&redirect_uri=http://www.example.com/response
