Traverse forum threads using document.getElementById("treeForm") method - dom

I am traverse a forum's threads using DOM method. In the source code of the forum, I did not see any id = "treeForm", however, the document.getElementById("treeForm") returns the correct value. I don't know why that happens? If that ID is NOT exist in the forum's page source code, I think that it should return "null" instead. Thanks for the help in advance.

Is "health.config.enabled" still being processed, and where?

Is the property "health.config.enabled" still valid and being processed in current Spring Cloud?
If yes, where in the code it is being done?
The property is in the current official documentation and has worked well for me so far (in cloud clients).
But as a whole string, it cannot be found anywhere in the current source code (besides the doc source).
For me as a beginner, it was easy to find in the old version of ConfigClientAutoConfiguration.java
Recent version of ConfigClientAutoConfiguration.java does not contain that whole property name, although I guess it's still being processed but in a more abstract way that I don't understand yet. Thus I'd appreciate even a hint in the form of "what used to be done on line "#ConditionalOnProperty(value = "health.config.enabled", matchIfMissing = true)" before is now roughly done on line XY".
Thanks.
It is replaced by #ConditionalOnEnabledHealthIndicator("config") (see here).
From the javadoc for that annotation
Blockquote
#Conditional that checks whether a default health indicator is enabled. Matches if the value of the management.health.<name>.enabled
So the new property is management.health.config.enabled

Protractor Implementation in Angular2 without using ids

I have application in Angularjs2, and developers have not been using ids into it. Now I have to implement the Protractor on same application. Is there anyway to implement the Protractor without using "absolute XPath"?
Thanks in advance!
Please find a huge range of locator-possibilities on the official Protractortest API Page
Every element on a page needs to be uniquely identifiable... else the page wouldn't work, no matter which technology. Therefore with the help of any of the above provided locator-possibilities you'll always find the element you're looking for.
And there is never a need for XPath, except for this only one. (though there is an parentElementArrayFinder introduced in the meantime, so not even that one exception is valid anymore)
UDPATE
If you could use XPath, you can for sure use CSS-Locators.
Here some examples for locators:
$('div.class#id[anyAttribute="anyValue"] div.child.somewhere-below-div-point-class')
element(by.cssContainingText('div[data-index="2"]', 'select this option'))
Or as a specific example the "Learn More" of the "Tree List" section of https://js.devexpress.com/ :
treeListSection = element(by.cssContainingText('div.tab-content h2', 'Tree List')).getDriver();
learnMoreBtn = treeListSection.element(by.cssContainingText('a.tab-button','Learn More'));
learnMoreBtn.click();
Those are just examples, but there is always a way to do it.
If you provide some example-HTML in your Question, I can direct you towards a solution.
UPDATE 2
For getting the Parent Web Element, one could use getDriver() as well

Can I return the tag and routine name?

I am working on a code "maintenance" idea where I would like to populate a global when routines are accessed and by who. I can pull the current routine name using $t(+0) or $ZNAME, but what about the current tag and/or line offset? Is there a way so I can put a standard line in the routines I want to track?
Rob, you can get these information from $STACK.
If you call your own tracking function, you get the calling stack info like this:
W $STACK($STACK(-1)-1,"PLACE")
zExecute+2^%Studio.General.1 +1
Take a look at the Caché ObjectScript Reference for $STACK for detailed description and examples.
Rob!
Maybe you just turn on Audit? It gathers logs for different users activities in InterSystems Caché database. See the documentation on Caché Audit.
Also, see this solution which will help you to examine analytics in DeepSee regarding Audit entries.
You can find the routine that's calling your label, by the following ClassMethod.
write ##class(%SYSTEM.Process).CallingRoutine()
As well as the database which is calling your label.
write ##class(%SYSTEM.Process).CallingDatabase()

AEM 6.1 || currentStyle.<propertyName> is returning null in cq5 publisher

I am using currentStyle Object to fetch the design dialog properties for a component.
${currentStyle.linkurl}
This is working fine in author but returning null in publisher. I have already seen the below given post, but no solution has been posted. Is anyone has come across any solution for this?
currentStyle.<propertyName> is returning null in cq5 publisher, which is working perfectly fine in author (I did post a comment but looks like this post has been marked for deletion)
Discussion on Adobe forum
You have two options
In preview/ publish mode fetch the design values via
currentDesign.getJSON(), parse the value returned from that and then
key into the values You want from the Json object.
You may solve this by removing one line of code from your template
head.js. if you are inheriting any template from one of the "/libs"
( sightly) page and there head.js will be having below line of code
so you can just overlay head.js in your template and commented out
below line of code.
if (wcmmode.disabled) {
request.setAttribute(Packages.com.day.cq.wcm.api.components.ComponentContext.BYPASS_COMPONENT_HANDLING_ON_INCLUDE_ATTRIBUTE, true);
}
Comment out this and everything will work for you.

Show all posts from category X with the same taxonomy term as current post

I already have this almost working, with a neat snippet someone helped me with. Currently though its displaying all posts regardless of category or post type with the same taxonomy term as the current post. I would like to change it so I can specify which category it should loop in the posts from.
This is what the code looks like:
http://pastebin.com/pM8aFPQ9
I realise this is probably pretty easy to do, but I dont know where in this code I should specify the categories or how I should write to do that. Can anyone help me with this?
I used your code to solve the same problem and I filtered the posts with info from:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query
Using the info on that page, in the $args that you specify, you can add 'post_type' => array('custom_post_type_01', 'custom_post_type_02');
You could also specify which categories to include (or exclude) using this code:
'category_name' => 'category';
You can find more info on the page above and you can essentially filter your posts using lots of different parameters. Hope this helps!
