Why PayPal Request can’t be processed? - paypal

I’m trying to test recurring payment in my paypal sandbox account. I followed this link https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/docs/classic/express-checkout/ht_ec-recurringPaymentProfile-curl-etc/
I have summarized the steps what I follow
Step 1: Get PayPal Token – Completed
Step 2: Redirect customer to PayPal with Token
https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_express-checkout&token=xxxxxxxx
After I send the request, paypal show the following page
After I entered the sandbox buyer account details, paypal display error message like “Currently, we unfortunately can not process your request. Return to Logical IT Solution GmbH and select another option.”
I have tried So many times, PayPal show this message only.
How can I implement recurring payment for my sandbox account without error?

You test German paypal account? If yes than Paypal recurring payments does not work with German accounts or at least not with all of them. This is some legal problem and that's why they disabled it.
Probably German law refuse to store recurring payments data on foreign servers.

paypal sandbox - verify identity

I am testing my payment integration using PayPal Sandbox
When I go to make payment using a sandbox account, the following message displays on the payment page
To use your balance next time, go to your PayPal account for an
identity check.
If I log into the sandbox account, I am not seeing any way to do this.
How do I set up the sandbox account so that it can use PayPal funds for the payment rather than the credit card option?
It doesn't matter how you are funding the payment in sandbox. There's no actual reason for you to be bothering to care about this issue, since the result of a completed PayPal payment on the receiver end will be identical.
But since you ask, you can create a bank verified account via https://www.paypal.com/signin?intent=developer&returnUri=https%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.paypal.com%2Fdeveloper%2Faccounts%2F

Paypal Return Message 3005 on Sandbox Account

I am using Paypal sandbox for recurring payment system. my express check out payment for initial payment is working proper and also create Recurring Payments Profile in sandbox. But when i searching the transaction i am getting the below error.
Sorry — your last action could not be completed
If you were making a purchase or sending money, we recommend that you check both your PayPal account and your email for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.
If you came to this page from another website, please return to that site (don't use your browser's Back button) and restart your activity.
If you came from PayPal's website, click the PayPal logo in the upper-left corner to return to our home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again.
We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment.
For some browsers, this problem can be resolved by clearing or deleting cookies.
Message 3005
I have also enable recurring payment in seller account.

Paypal Website Payments Pro - Recurring Payment Profile - Negative testing - how to trigger

I try to establish recurring payment from CiviCRM, using Website Payments Pro mode.
The positive testing works perfectly, I see the created payment profile, I get the IPN notifications, it's perfect.
I enabled negative testing at the profile, I tried two methods to trigger the negative case - when the initial payment fails:
PayPal recurring payments negative testing (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/lifecycle/sb_error-conditions/ - with the amount of 106.10 $)
With IPN error code: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/ipn/integration-guide/IPNTesting/ - 31.22
In both cases, the payment completed successfully.
I contacted the paypal support and their best answer was this:
" You can test it with close expiry date. Usually when the expiry date almost come, PayPal will sent notification to the buyer to change credit card. But if the buyers just ignore the notification, it will lead to failed transaction. "
Even if it works, it's unacceptable, that I might have to wait 1 month to see the result. Paypal does not allow to set already expired card for the recurring payment profile.
Do you see an efficient way to test negative outcome? Maybe with IPN simulator? But how can I be sure that Send Paypal Recurring Payments commands with IPN Simulator contains the proper messages that PayPal uses today for my type of account?
Here is how to proceed: forget the sandbox, it is just not mature enough. Use the production/live paypal account, lower the recurring fee to 0.5$, launch the recurring payment from Civicrm, wait for the initial payment, you have the successful case, then ask your bank to set the POS limit to 0$, then the next recurring payment will fail. This is a totally robust way to test negative case. Do not forget to set your IPN first (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/ipn/integration-guide/IPNSetup/). Do you have any better method?
The following method works for recurring payments with Express Checkout, might as well work for Payments Pro:
Login to https://www.sandbox.paypal.com using your buyer's test PayPal account.
Replace the contents of the street address Line-1 of the buyer's test credit card, with CCREJECT-REFUSED.
Execute a typical Express Checkout payment flow against the Sandbox test environment using the same buyer account and with the same credit
card that you just modified.
This method is described on a page in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard' helpfully titled How To Recover from Funding Failure Error Code 10486 in Express Checkout

recurring payment with paypal advanced NOT paypal pro

I am trying to make recurring payment work with PAYPAL ADVANCED
My script works in case of SALE transactions but there are issues when i try to create recurring profile.
ISSUES
When i am posting my request with CREATESECURETOKEN set to Y. It returns Invalid transaction type: Invalid Transaction Type for secure token creation request
Here is the string. Note i have changed user and pass here

if i set CREATESECURETOKEN to N i receive Invalid merchant information: 10002-You do not have permissions to make this API call
I searched for documentation on recurring payment with paypal advanced but every where i found details about payflow pro. With no information about recurring payment with paypal advanced its not easy to make things work.
Any idea about what is wrong with my post data?.
I posted my query on paypal.com/mts a week back but have no reply.
NOTE: I have subscribed to paypal advanced and paypal recurring payment.
With paypal advanced the transactions are completed on the client website itself and user is never taken to paypal site. Yes it uses iframe for the purpose.
It works for SALE type transaction but not in case of recurring payment.
Payments Pro and Advanced don't support the Recurring Payment API calls. You would be using the Recurring Billing API calls through Payflow. The new Advanced and Pro accounts use Payflow Pro or Link.
Are you setting a billing type in the Secure Token call?
What is the ticket number you submitted? I'd to look up the account to see if the account is setup to use Recurring Billing and was created correctly.
Also, Advanced accounts shouldn't be using the Recurring Billing API calls. It is possible to create Recurring Billing profiles with an Advanced account but they have to be done through the PayPal Manager site.

How to check Payment failure for Paypal Express Checkout

We are using Paypal recurring billing service (using Express Checkout) at our website for monthly subscription.
Since we have an Australian account so we are not able use the DPRP (Direct Payment Recurring Payment) service offered by Paypal because it seems, DPRP service is limited
to only few countries (US, UK and Canada).
In Express checkout payment details are received at Paypal Website. So we do not have any information, whether the payment failed, user pressed the Back button in browser or He/She intentionally clicked the cancel payment.
After speaking to Paypal support team we get know that there could be multiple possible reason for Payment failure, and seller has to contact Paypal by themself. So we can
not provide any troubleshooting for that at our website.
So we want to know, Is there any possible solution to avoid this or atleast can we diffrentiate between the user for whom payment failed and who intentionally moved to
our website back without doing payment because this way we are not only unable to followup with them but also loosing a part of the customer base, interested in our service.
Any help in this is Appreciated.
Thanks
You should implement the Pay Pal IPN (Instant Payment Notification).
You configure the IPN url address on your PayPal merchant account settings. This page is simple HTML page with server-side programming that is listening for requests coming from PayPal.
There's no need to do something extra in the checkout process for making IPN work. Once you set this up, it will automatically work.
Every time something happens with a transaction in your merchant account, e.g. transaction completed/failed/canceled, PayPal will send an HTTP Post to your IPN listener URL.
Here you can get all the relevant information about the transaction, like the payer ID, the payment status. With this information you can decide what to do with your customer's order.
