Connecting MS Access to Oracle SQLDeveloper - oracle-sqldeveloper

I want connect my MS access 2003 with Oracle SQLdeveloper so that I can do analyis in SQLDeveloper. I am trying to create ODBC driver but it is not working.I am wondering if any of you send me the links or explain how can I create a ODBC connection between Access and Oracle SqL developer

Here is a short video
and a more complete example is in this article

2 ways to do it:
Long & foolproof method:
1. Below link has he Oracle Tutorial document for the Migration
https://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/db/hol08/sqldev_migration/msaccess/migrate_microsoft_access_otn.htm
Short Method (may not work always):
2. To setup a connection to MS Access in Oracle SQL Developer, from the Connections dialog, click on the green plus sign. This will open the connections dialog box.
You will see a tab that says Access right beside Oracle tab which will be selected. Click on the tab to open up the dialog to use an MS Access MDB file. Use the Browse button to locate the MDB and give it a connection name. No need to enter username.
Once connected to the MS Access database from Oracle SQL Developer, you will see the connection in the database.
You can see all the tables in the database by expanding the TABLE category of the connection.

Why does running a query return 'table_oid' under messages and nothing under Data Output

Running any sort of query on pgAdmin 4 just returns a 'table_oid' under messages.
I am able to get the necessary data when running the query from the command line, for example
SELECT ST_MakePolygon(ST_GeomFromText('LINESTRING(75.15 29.53,77 29,77.6 29.5, 75.15 29.53)'));
I understand that table_oid refers to the object id of the table, but I have no idea how to access it.
Pardon me please if it is a simple question, but I am unable to find any resources online
Expected:
010300000001000000040000009A99999999C9524048E17A14AE873D4000000000004053400000000000003D4066666666666653400000000000803D409A99999999C9524048E17A14AE873D40
Actual:
table_oid
From pgAdmin 4 project tracker:
Temporary solution until next release and tested in my ubuntu 18.04 machine:
Replace these two 2 files:
/usr/share/pgadmin4/web/pgadmin/tools/sqleditor/__init_*_py
/usr/share/pgadmin4/web/pgadmin/tools/sqleditor/command.py
Link to files:
__init_*_.py
command.py
Note:
The first file's name is __init_*_py, without the *.
Try Squirrel SQL - Universal SQL Client. It's an extremely useful SQL client. I use it to access SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Access. It's not as good looking as pgAdmin4.
Install JAVA first, if not already installed.
Install Squirrel SQL.
Download the latest PostgreSQL JDBC driver, e.g. postgresql-42.2.6.jar, and put it into a convenient location.
Open/Start Squirrel.
Click the Drivers Tab and scroll down to PostgreSQL. Double click PostgreSQL. A "Change Driver: PostgreSQL" dialog box/window will open.
Click the Extra Class Path tab and click the Add button. Navigate to and choose the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver that was downloaded in step 3. above.
Click the List Drivers button, "org.postgresql.Driver" should appear in the Class Name drop down box.
Click OK.
Setup PostgreSQL JDBC Driver
The driver should now be setup.
Click the Aliases tab to setup a connection to your database. See my example screenshots.
Setup Database Connection

PostgreSQL: One database to multiple user

I have PostgreSQL 9.3 version. I have created database name db1 now I need it to share with other users who all are connected with the LAN's to connect other applications with the same database.
In SQL Server: We can do this by selecting server name with login details.
Question:
Is it possible in PostgreSQL?
If yes, how can do this?
What is the procedure?
You will need to modify pg_hba.conf to allow remote connections to the database. Information about pg_hba.conf can be found here.
After that, you can connect programatically with a connection string, or similar to your image, with a GUI application like pgAdmin.
To connect (remotely or locally) from pgAdmin choose File -> Add Server... and enter the connection information into the dialog box. Here's an example of the window:
Your client computers will also need to have PostgreSQL drivers as well. If you're doing this in Windows, you'll probably be using ODBC. The PostgreSQL ODBC drivers are here. Info on the connection string format can be found here.
Here's an example of what pgAdmin looks like:

Epicor and Crystal Reports

I have a connection setup to OLE DB (ADO), I try to use integrated security but in Epicor it asks for a username and password to preview the report. This only happens when I am pulling a table or a view from the SQL server that has the database. So, I tried to do an ODBC connection, now it says in Epicor that it cannot connect to the database. How do I use the OLE DB connection but not have it prompt for credentials in Epicor?
You need a report viewer, which is able to preserve the login information.

JBOSS AS 7 Database internal

1 and i'm connected to intern database java:jboss/datasources/ExampleDS
i want to browse the data like sql in tables etc. in the administration console of jboss
but there is no such option in Administration menu or can someone help me on how to browse data? Or is there some other tool on this?
Database has nothing to do with application server. First you have to find out what database server is datastore ExampleDS using. Then connect to that server. Example: if ExampleDS uses Mysql on 192.168.1.1:3306 you have to use some Mysql client (Mysql workbanch) to connect to that server. There you can see actual tables.

SQL linked server with filemaker

I have a client with FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced.
I need to be able to connect to the filemaker database via SQL. I am using MS SQL Server 2008 R2, or Server 2012 can be used.
These are the steps I have tried
0) Turned on ODBC/JDBC sharing in File -> Sharing on FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced for "All Users"
1) installed the FileMaker OBDC driver included on the filemaker disc
2) odbcad32.exe in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and added a new filemaker System DSN and directed it to the filemaker database.
3) Attempted to add a linked server to SQL using Provider Microsoft OLE DB Provider for OBDC Drivers and the System DSN name i created for Data Source. I left all other fields blank.
I get this error:
Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "FILEMAKER2".
OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "FILEMAKER2" returned message "[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application". (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 7303)
FILEMAKER2 is the what i called the System DSN.
What am I doing wrong/What do I need to correct in order to connect to filemaker with SQL?
Is there a connection string to put in for Provider String?
I have the same mismatch error trying to do a test connect with access.
Thank you for any help.
The error you're getting is because of the driver installed is a 32bit driver propably on a 64bit system.
Look in the downloads of FM for the correct xbit driver.
I've connected to FM using ODBC from PHP apps to do basic inserts, updates, deletes of data. I haven't worked with it like you're attempting to do, though, and like #ted said, FM really wasn't built as a SQL platform.
Their answer to this was to go the other way around. You can setup External SQL sources within FileMaker, and bind your SQL database to FM so that those tables show up in FM the same as regular FM tables. These tables can then be used within FM scripts accordingly, so you could setup any data sync steps necessary there. You could create scripts to move data from FM layouts into the SQL DB layouts at given intervals throughout the day, for example.
Hope that helps.
FileMaker 11 only comes with a 32 bit ODBC driver. The error you got happens when you use a 32 bit driver with the 64 bit ODBC admin utility. Set up your DSN using the 32 bit utility, found here:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
...and it will work fine.
