I have an app that generates some text and I would the user to be able to copy it using the tap of a button so that he can paste it somewhere else in the iPhone.
I would also like to be able to access any text that the user had already copied from another app on the phone.
The UIPasteboard class might be exactly what you're looking for.
EDIT
Here's a brief example:
NSString *myString = #"Text to be copied";
[[UIPasteboard generalPasteboard] setString:myString];

I wrote this code below to get the length of a textfield and pop up an alert after it, it keeps ask me to declare the length in the #interface, how could I do that?
if ([myTextField length]<=0)
Maybe you should use [myTextField.text length]?
If this wasn't the problem then maybe you could post some codes and the error message to get more clarification ;D

How to get text files or pdf files from local device or else external device(memory card) in iOS? It will be helpful if you can give some sample or tutorial.
Use Dropbox. Place the files in a Dropbox folder and then with the iOS free Dropbox app, you can view the files in your iPhone/iPad.

How can an application set a ringtone on iPhone?
This feature is not supported in the API currently since it could be used to set the ringtone to something that the user did not intend to set it to. If you'd like to see it added, best thing to do is submit a feature request to Apple.
