How to customize popup windows on Leaflet markers like this? - leaflet

I am actually looking for a way to customize my window popups like it is done on this website : http://www.nytimes.com/newsgraphics/2013/quiet/#/map/
I have been looking on all the web and no way to find it ...
Any ideas or website explaining it ?
Thanks guys

The javascript code uses a combination of JQuery, JQueryUI, qTip2, and a couple of other libraries for localization and media player abilities.
You can find the specific javascript code for those markers here: NYTimes Map - zoom.js
All the css is found here: NYTimes Map - quiet.css
The main tool used for the mouseover parts is qTip2. Tutorials and demos can be found on the website. That's probably the thing you're going to want to start with.

There is a Leaflet extention called Leaflet.Rrose. Description from Leaflet plugins page:
For use when you want popups on mouseover, not click, and you need popup tips to reorient as you get close to the edges of your map.
Check out examples on extensions' page.

How to fix absolute path to custom TinyMCE skin

I followed this tutorial posted on tiny.cloud and did everything according to the post. I got to the part where you define the content_css and the skin_url.
The skin I created is called Snoopal.
I did:
skin: "Snoopal",
content_css: "/elements/skins/content",
skin_url: '/elements/skins/ui'
But the editor doesn't show up on the website. What am I doing wrong?
I've also had a hard time working with these editors, if anyone has a good tutorial on making a custom rich text editor, please post it, thx in advance.

Leaflet custom map (prod. with MapTiler) not shown in version 0.7.3

My custom map which has been produced by using MapTiler 0-5 levels displays well
on leaflet 0.6.4 but is not shown on version 0.7.3. Sorry, but I'm really new in using leaflet and maps. I've googled and checked the documentation on leaflet.com but haven't got any clue of a solution. Please help.
This is a demo using 0.6.4 and html already prepared for 0.7.3.
Sorry folks, I've just found my solution after googling again with other search
criteria. So I've found thread #2776 from Jakoboud pointing me to a possible solution. This does the trick -> continuousWorld: true and my map shows up.
Here's another question: how can I keep this map centered in browser window if the shown map part is smaller in width/height than browser window? map.setMaxBounds() doesn't work, it's bouncing the small map endlessly.

How do I flip .html pages with pure CSS3?

I'm looking for a tutorial without any javascript - pure CSS3.
I've created two pages (page1.html, page2.html) for the iPhone and I'm using CSS3 and the -webkit-properties.
To connect those sites I created a next- and a backbutton.
When tapping on the nextbutton page2.html is loaded, when tapping on the backbutton page1.html is loaded.
This is working so far.
I'd like to try using some more -webkit-properties to get the flip-effect like in this demo.
So, when clicking on my next-button page2.html should be flipped in. When clicking/tapping on the backbutton page1.html should be flipped in.
I'm new to this and hope to get some help here. Do you know a tutorial dealing with my problem?
Another question coming up to my mind was whether it is possible to load page2.html seperatly or whether I have to build only one page with the content of page1.html and page2.html?
You have to build only one page with two sections/divs with the flip-contents in it. Then you can use the transform: rotateY … or, maybe load the second page in with AXAJ or something else, but because it's CSS on my understanding you have to put everything in one page with two sections/divs
There are lots of pageflip demos on the interwebs. This is one we did It was inspired by Roman Cortes one - there are others that use more of a squeeze than a flip.

How do people do this: http://mysite.com/#/page-name

I want to use deep linking on my site using this url method, but I'm not sure how it works. When I set my links to work like this:
stuff
the browser doesn't put it in the window location bar. Ideas?
This technique is sometimes used for flash and ajax-based navigation to keep back/forward buttons and bookmarks functional. Check this for further reading http://tim.oreilly.com/pub/a/onjava/2005/10/26/ajax-handling-bookmarks-and-back-button.html
Or you could use jQuery and a plugin that does most of the hard stuff for you: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/116446/what-is-the-best-back-button-jquery-plugin
