I would like to change the "CentOS 6.4" text which is displayed next to the boot status bar during boot with a custom text.
Is this possible, and if so, how?
Thanks,
Alex
The solution for above query is achieved by Plymouth theme plugin. Change the default "text" theme and program you own customized theme as mentioned here
A few years later... I ran into the same issue and unable to find doc's online. After reviewing source code in plymouth. The text that is displayed in this screen is extracted from the /etc/system-release file from BOTH the installed operating system and the initrd/initramfs file. If you make changes to both by editing the file and replacing and repackaging the initrd you will see the updated text.

Is anyone else experience this issue?
My custom fonts are working fine when running locally but once I deploy my website to Firebase the custom fonts are no longer showing.
Is this happening because I am pointing to a local font in my pubspec.yaml instead of network?
e.g.
this 'C:/../../assets/fonts/font.ttf' to this http://website.com/assets/fonts/font.ttf
Hello #Chris please have a look at the image maybe it helps you
Step 1:-
Step 2:-
always use relative paths
Nevermind, I fixed it.
It's because the file name had spaces in it e.g. font name.ttf instead of font-name.ttf
How to add the Language icon image in liferay 7(liferay-ce-portal-7.0-ga4).
I have followed the steps mentioned in following article,
https://web.liferay.com/web/salman.khan/blog/-/blogs/add-a-new-language-to-liferay-detailed-step-by-step-
After the language configuration I can be able to see the languages but not the flags on web content forms.
So I created the custom theme to add the language file and added th_TH.png file in theme\src\images\language\th_TH.png. But din't work.
Then I tried the implementing the lexicon-icon approach mention in,
how can i add a new language in liferay 7?
Still I am not able to see the language images.
Please refer the screenshot for details,
Theme-layout and file location
To add a custom icon that is not supported yet you need to add 2 artefacts into the theme. Liferay using 2 things for displaying icons. Somewhere it uses png flag and somewhere svg you need to adjust both.
Have a look at this sample project. https://github.com/mir333/custom-flag-admin-theme
It takes the admin theme of Liferay (it is a copy so it needs to be kept in sync with updates) and adds a new flag to the admin theme. The magic is in adding the flag into the lexicon. Under the hood, it takes the added flag svg files and recompiles the icons.svg files to include it.
To anyone who still have issue showing the flag, I just want to point out that this helped me: https://stackoverflow.com/a/45907250
As described, open the icons.svg and add your flag's svg code in as a symbol with the id "xx-yy" (your language and country code, in lowercase).
The flag does not magically generate just from putting the flags-xx-YY.svg file into lexicon folder, not for me at least.
I'm trying to make backup of whole TYPO3 (4.6) based web page.
I have bnb Backup installed but when I click on it I get message:
Please include the static template of this extension and set "BackupDirectory"
I've found in manual tha I should add bnb backup to include tab in template.
But that didnt help :/
Any idea?
There are more ways to create backups. Maybe this can help: https://wiki.typo3.org/Backup
You only need the database dump and the files. No magic.
Not sure this is the right stackexchange site but seems to be the place with the most question about Alfresco I can find so here goes.
Have Alfresco Community Edition 4.2.d installed on a RHEL5 64bit box (mainly default install bar using MySQL as a database locally). Uploading PDFs to the documentLibrary is fine and thumbnail previews and flash previews are generating. If the PDF has been processed by ABBYY OCR (which we have running on a separate server and is used to OCR scanned PDFs) then the flash preview generates fine but the thumbnail is incredibly dark and looks as if it has been attacked by a can of spray paint.
I initially thought it could be a ghostscript issue but have updated that to 9.14 and still getting this issue. I have also tried playing around with ImageMagik but I can't get a nice clear thumbnail to generate. I am guessing it is a switch in the convert command that Alfresco is using but I am struggling to work out a combination of switches that will work and then where Alfresco would store these parameters. Or indeed what switches are currently being used.
I was wondering if anyone had seen this behaviour before with ImageMagik previews in Alfresco 4.2.d? It seems something unique to PDFs that have been through the OCR process so I am guessing I will need to create a separate transformation for them at a later stage.
EDIT: So it was suggested that a later version of ImageMagick and GS should resolve it. I have therefore installed GS 9.14 and IM 6.8.9-0 (both compiled form source). Running the following from a command line:
convert /root/test1.pdf[0] /root/test1.png
results in a crystal clear image thumbnail preview. Thinking I was on to a winner I have amended the following lines in alfresco-global.properties to point to the system location of GS and IM:
img.root=/usr
img.dyn=${img.root}/lib
img.exe=${img.root}/bin/convert
img.gslib = /usr/local/share/ghostscript/9.14/lib/
and alfresco loads. However the thumbnail preview generated by Alfresco using the new version of IM and GS does not result in nice clean previews.
I am guessing that Alfresco is passing some command line switch during the conversion that is undoing the good work of the later versions of these programs. Does anyone know where the switches for thumbnail creation might be stored in Alfresco?
I guess it's related to transparency and default background black. I didn't find an easy way to add the required parameters to the script except to register a new transformer supporting more parameters like:
-fill white -opaque none
I am working to import a visio diagram from a vsdx file which has multiple pages, and it seems there is an app on the office store site to help me with this. Problem is Office Apps is currently disabled in my install of Office Word 2013. How do I enable this please so my apps can load? Thanks in advance
A possible solution:
1)Click file to get to the backstage menu.
2)Then click options
3)Then click trust center
4)Bottom right is trust center options
5)Then click trusted app catalogs on the left selection pane.
6)Look at the check boxes and see if any of those are checked. If so un-check.
You can use Insert->Text->Object->Create from File to import your Visio diagram. The imported object can only display one page at a time, however, but you can double click it to edit and display it in an embed Visio window.
I think the more general approach is export your diagram to some graphic formats and insert to the document. When you make change to the diagram, just export it again, go back to Word, right click on the image and Change picture.
This is probably late, but I had the same problem. What worked for me was going to File in Word and converting the format to a newer format. It had been running in Compatibility Mode because the file I opened in Word 2013 was actually created on Word 2002. So I had to convert it to the 2013 updated format, then save the file after converting, and then the Apps button was enabled! Presto! I hope this helps anyone who comes across the problem. I had NO clue what to do until I read online somewhere.
