PayPal REST API with Notifications - rest

PayPal has recently released a new API which should replace the old API. The new API is based on a REST approach.
As fare as I can see there is no option to define a callback URL. In the old API the parameter was 'notify_url'. I use the following documentation:
https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/docs/api/#create-a-payment
Is there a parameter in the new REST API which allows to define a notification URL?

Unfortunately, the REST API is still pretty far behind the classic API's with all of the features they provide. To my knowledge, notify_url/NOTIFYURL simply aren't included in the REST API yet.
That said, if you have IPN configured in your PayPal account profile the REST API calls should still trigger them. It's just that you can't override the value there with a custom one using notify like you're talking about.
The classic API's aren't going away, though. You can still use them just fine.

How to implement CyberSource REST 3D Secure

I'm trying to implement 3D Secure via CyberSource's REST API. I've got their REST SDK via : Github REST SDK and I've been using their Live Console examples as well: CyberSource Live Console
Now I know you meant to start by setting up Payer Auth via
On this link: Setup Payer API Ref
But want I'm looking for is a guide on how all the parts are put together, all their other older implementations seem to have PDF guides demonstrating the different flows of the API but I can't find anything for REST. I know at the end I should using the example of "Authorization with Payer Auth Validation" via this link Payer Auth API Ref but I need to be able to test everything, and know what properties I need to use on which API call or share between API calls.
For instance like this 3D Secure API guide: Sage Pay API Guide . On this guide they detail the various request and response messages. Different flows, such as Frictionless authentication , Challenge Auth. I'm specifically interest in the Challenge Auth flow whereby you would redirect your customer to the acsUrl received. If anyone has any guides or assistance they can provide to make this process more clear it would be greatly appreciated. We've put in requests for more information from the intermediary party we are using between CyberSource but it's slow going. Thanx all
For anyone else arriving here, there is now a CyberSource 3D-Secure REST guide here.
At this time there is not a guide for the REST API that has the complete picture. Instead you have to use the SOAP API guide here SOAP Guide. See Chapter 2 within that guide. Where that guide references SOAP API calls replace them with the REST API calls. It's not ideal but that is all that is available.

DocuSign SOAP API for User list

I am trying to get the users associated with DocuSign account using SOAP API.
I tried API GetMembershipSummary(), but is giving an error "Invalid_Login" although X-DocuSign-Authentication is set, and valid email id of admin is provided.
I did noticed that this method is reserved by DocuSign based on this link
The rest API /users is working fine, but I still need equivalent SOAP API.
you are correct. this is one of these things that can only be done using the REST API.
The SOAP API is not currently supported. Meaning, we won't add features or make modifications to it. I highly recommend to use the REST API. If you already have a SOAP Application, you can use the REST API for newer features.

How to use PayPal API credentials?

I need to add PayPal button on client's website. It is first time I am doing this and I asked for credentials he gave me API signature, API username and API password. I was checking lots of tutorials how to add PayPal button, they use sandbox/live Client ID and Secret. Can I use this API credentials instead?
I searched a lot but couldn't find an answer.
I am coding in CodeIgniter 3.
Thanks
Username, Password, and Signature are related to Classic API integration.
Client ID and Secret are related to the REST API integration.
Which one do you want to work with?
Or, the easiest option is to use PayPal Standard Payment Buttons, but that will also be the most limiting.
We actually have a PayPal CodeIgniter Library that you might be interested in. It was built for the Classic API.
The general PayPal PHP SDK that it's based on is now available with Composer, so I would recommend installing it that way.
We'll be releasing an update to that library before the end of the year that adds all of the REST APIs. It's available in the dev branch on GitHub already.

Paypal Rest API and Permissions API from classic

Im trying to implement paypal on a website, where I want to give my site-users the ability to add paypal as an payment option for there web shops. So I'm using Laravel, and I found this one, http://jslim.net/blog/2014/09/19/integrate-paypal-sdk-into-laravel-4/ and do pretty much like that.
So my question is, is it possible to combine the Permissions API from the Classic API and using the Rest API for my shop? And then could anyone point me in the right direction?
Currently adding PayPal REST API and Classic API SDKs are causing namespacing conflict issues, as to prevent breaking changes in REST API. The work is under way to release 1.x version of REST APIs that would allow you to work with both rest and classic APIs together.

PayPal Rest API - historical data

I'm just wondering if the new PayPal rest API can be used to receive historical data. For example getting a list of sales made before the rest API existed.
I thought there would be some way to hook it up but it seems you can only get sales that were made though the rest API itself.
Am I wrong?
That's correct - only transactions created (via the REST API's) are returned in a GET /payment call today.
You would need to use the classic TransactionSearch API call for any transaction created prior to that.
