Eclipse properties panel disabled, only popup - eclipse

I have had a problem with Eclipse which makes the properties panel options disabled. It usually got fixed after Eclipse restart, but after updating to the latest version of Eclipse and plugins using Help -> Check for updates, I can no longer insert text in the properties panel. For example, I'm working on an Android project at the moment. I wanted to insert a LinearLayout in my application and set it's orientation to horizontal. I couldn't type this in the window so I had to open the XML file and insert the property there.
As you can see in the image, these input fields are all greyed out except for the one I have manually inserted in the code.
Anyone else noticed this or any workarounds?

It was a problem with the Android SDK. The newest version of Android wasn't working correctly. I changed back to level 18 (from 19, Android 4.4) in the layout view in Eclipse and it's working again.

Eclipse toolbar middle alignment (GTK related)

Installed fresh installation of Eclipse on centos.
After restarting suddenly all buttons are aligned middle instead of left.
Where is the setting to change that?
Eclipse version 4.16.0
Build id 20200615-1200
Edit: seem to be a GTK problem, I managed to find those settings in gtk inspector using ctrl+shift+D and change the toolbar elements to GTK_ALIGN_START, and that fixes it.
But no idea why it's like that to begin with? All my other apps works, and all use GTK_ALIGN_FILL, only eclipse is like that.
Also new eclipse installation doesn't help.
Any way to change all gtk aligns for a program and save?

Netbeans 8.2 wont apply themes

For some reason, Netbeans IDE 8.2 won't apply any different themes than the original one. Has anyone else had an issue with this? I have applied the new theme and restarted the application many times without success. Thank you.
It's very hard to identify what is wrong since everything in your screenshot looks perfect, and Sublime-Theme works for me using NetBeans 8.2 on Windows 10. See the file with the tab NewServlet.java in the screen shot below.
Note that using Sublime-Theme does not impact everything. For example, the Projects and Navigator panels don't change. Since your screen shot only showed the Options window, and the Start Page doesn't change in the editor either, are you absolutely certain that none of your files in the editor are using Sublime-Theme?
Also, you say that "Netbeans IDE 8.2 won't apply any different themes than the original one", but NetBeans comes bundled with several themes, such as NetBeans and NetBeans 5.5 as shown in the screen shot below. How many options are shown in the profile drop list for you? If you select a different theme from the Profile list and click Apply the rendering of your files in the editor should change immediately. Is that happening?
If so, the problem is probably confined to the installation of Sublime-Theme. Try deleting Sublime-Theme (the button is in the top right corner of your screen shot), and then import the zip file again to see if that fixes the problem. Also, verify that the Sublime-Theme zip file you downloaded can be manually unzipped since it might be a corrupt file.
Another thing to try is using some alternative plugins. Select Tools -> Plugins -> Available Plugins and then install Dark Look and Feel Themes and Darcula LAF for NetBeans. If those don't work either then there is something fundamentally wrong with the installation of NetBeans.

Eclipse Neon Missing Working set Icon

Spec : Eclipse Neon (eclipse-jee-neon-R-win32-x86_64 ) ,Jdk1.8
Working set Icon is missing on Installing the Eclipse Neon.
Problem : All of the Projects are displayed irrespective of the Working set Assigned, also the icon for Selection Assign set is missing.
Is this a Generic Problem or something am i missing?
You're probably using the Project Explorer which manages working set a bit differently from Package Explorer (that you might be more used to). Additionally to selecting Top-Level Elements > Working Set, you have to choose the selected working set via the view menu > Select working sets....

eclipse e4 menu item tooltip

How to use menu item tooltips? When I add a new menu item in fragment.e4xmi there is a "tooltip" text field in properties editor window, but when I run the application I see no tooltips. Should I do something tricky to enable them? I've seen on the Internet that it was an issue before, but I assume it should be already fixed since properties editor suggests me to enter a tooltip. Setting tooltip via setTooltip() method programmatically doesn't work either. I use Mars.1 Release (4.5.1).
I think this is Eclipse bug 473779. Tool tips for menu items don't work in Eclipse 4.5.2 and earlier. This has been fixed in Eclipse Neon (4.6.0) due to be released shortly (June 2016).
I confirmed this testing on Mac OS X. Eclipse 4.5.2 doesn't show tool tips, Eclipse 4.6.0 does.

Disable Netbeans exception report window

I need to disable the "Exceptions" window that pops when you encounter an IDE error in Netbeans - I always report when I can but is driving me crazy right now.
Don't get me wrong, I love the application, but I'm getting tired of the errors on my screen, sometimes needing to delete a file and create him again to enable me to continue.
I can drag it to the side but my mouse loses focus.
I'm using Windows 7 and latest version of Java (netbeans PHP ide)
Is this possible?
You need to modify <netbeans-install-dir>/etc/netbeans.conf
Add
-J-Dnetbeans.exception.alert.min.level=99999 -J-Dnetbeans.exception.report.min.level=99999
to the netbeans_default_options entry.
You have to set some properties when launching Netbeans. Modify your application configuration in "nbproject/platform.properties" by finding a line run.args.extra=... and adding at the end:
-J-Dnetbeans.exception.alert.min.level=99999 -J-Dnetbeans.exception.report.min.level=99999
You'll find the details in Netbeans' wiki.
I would recommend using -J-Dnetbeans.exception.report.min.level=99999 but not the other one. This means the error icon will still appear when there is a problem, and you can report the error if you have a moment, but no dialog will pop up without your asking it to.
