Implementing Stocktwit Share in php loop? - stocktwits

I am working on a site and I require that stocktwit share button appears against each post which are running in loop. i tried integrating the share button from the stocktwit site. The first button is working fine, it fetches the data i m providing in the "data-text". But for the rest they simply open a share screen with no values fetched. Please suggest how I should use the share button in a loop?

If I understand this correctly you are trying to have multiple share buttons on one page. You can go about this 2 ways.
Using the share button coded as so should work:
<img src="https://stocktwits.com/assets/widget/stocktwits_share.png" alt="Share on StockTwits"/>
The issue you are seeing is because of the multiple button ID's. You can only have one per page.
The other option is to use our API and the message/share endpoint. This will give you more control. http://stocktwits.com/developers/docs/api#messages-create-docs

How to link multiple pages in GWT

I am new to GWT and so my knowledge is restricted.
Right now I have created a simple Login page which will take my user to another page and then based on the choices that the user makes, it will direct it to the next page. I have created 3 individual pages but I have no clue how to link them. Can someone please help.
In GWT typically you do not create separate pages - you create separate "views". They may look like pages to an end user, but in reality the entire app works in a single HTML "host" page.
You may want to look at the Activities and Places design pattern. It takes care of navigation between different "places" within your app.
very simple example with a DeckPanel. It shows only the selected 'page' and hides the other ones
DeckPanel deckPanel = new DeckPanel();
deckPanel.add(page1);
deckPanel.add(page2);
deckPanel.add(page3);
deckPanel.showWidget(0);
//deckPanel.showWidget(1);
//deckPanel.showWidget(2);

How to send a Facebook page as url using the Facebook send button?

I will try to explain a bit the context for my problem.
Context:
A while ago I started working on Facebook application. One of the requirements is to be included in a Facebook page as a tab. This application will contain on a page a send button in order to be able to make it more engaging with specific people, users of the application would choose on their own. The reason behind this is because the Facebook page containing the application is related to alcohol, and "liking" the application will get more audition and potential children. Another reason for using send button rather then other similar options from Facebook (like send dialog etc.) is because in Facebook documentation was stated that send button works on mobile devices and other options don't.
Problem:
My problem is related to the send button. What I need is to be able to completely configure the send button: url, image, title, description. I have research the open graph tags in order to be able to do this. Everything works fine if the page I want to be sent with the message is a website OUTSIDE Facebook. Once I started to use the url of a Facebook page (let's call it www.facebook.com/mycustompage), then the crawler takes the images, title, description from facebook.com ignoring the actual page and the produced message is not what I want.
I have searched a lot to better understand this limitation and could not find anything relevant.
The only article I could find as a potential solution was (and even this I had trouble finding):
Send button returning error codes, like button works fine
The above discussion is a workaround which I have already put in place but is not 100% what I want. The described workaround is about putting in the send button:
<div class="fb-send" data-href="http://www.mycustomdomain.com/og"></div>
a page that sniffs the user agent. In case the user agent is Facebook crawler to serve an html empty page just with the open graph tags, otherwise redirect to the desired URL - which in our case is the facebook page www.facebook.com/mycustompage.
The message produced contains:
the title which is a link to www.mycustomdomain.com/og which when
clicked opens a page in a new tab with the address
www.facebook.com/mycustompage - this is relatively ok
under the title I have a "sub-title" readonly text containing the domain of the link: www.mycustomdomain.com - THIS IS NOT OK since I don't want to share where I have hosted the application.
the image and the desired description - this is ok.
Conclusion:
What I want to know if there is a better way to do this rather than this workaround.
If not I would like to know how I can hide for the produced message the "sub-title" so that the hosted domain is not visible.

Want to share a particular block or div from my entire page into facebook

I have a requirement that in a webpage I have multiple block of content which is wrapped inside individual DIV. Each block needs to have a share to facebook button.
Did many researches but couldn't find a solution. Please can anyone give me a suitable code or idea how I can share particular blocks/content wrapped inside a div into facebook.
For e.g.
I have three DIV in my page and each DIV has share button, when user clicks on any of the share button the respective DIV is shared.
Is there any solution to this requirement or whether is it possible to do. Any kind of suggestions are widely accepted.
Check out this HyperArts tutorial on adding a Share Button to an iFrame tab - you use the exact same code for your webpage. You will be using the Facebook JavaScript SDK.
At the end of the tutorial it explains how to modify it to allow for multiple Share buttons on one page. You just need to add a unique identifier for each one.

FB.provide is not a function

I'm developing a WordPress plugin to show above or bottom the posts Facebook like and send buttons.
Unfortunately when is also activated a plugin for Facebook share button there is a Javascript error (FB.provide is not a function) and like and send buttons don't appear.
For example this happens in this page: http://www.pasqualepuzio.it/2011/04/plugin-facebook-like-and-send-button/
How can I solve this issue?
Thank you very much
I ´ve faced the same problem and it happens if you add the script twice on the site (http://connect.facebook.net/sv_SE/all.js)
I understood that part that we cant have all.js twice but I want to have Facebook Share Button and Facebook Like Button.
According to Docs, I need to include these two JS Files.
https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js
http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/connect.php/js/FB.Share
Now, If I include both Firebug will give me same error "FB.provide is not a function". If I remove either of them then Like or Share button wont work.
I can do iFrame version but I have HTML Encoding issues with iFrame Version. I am programmatic generating HTML Response.
Any idea, how to approach?
There is a workaround for this: instead of placing the javascript Fb.Share within the same page where you are loading the Javascript SDK, use an Iframe with the first and set it in the second.

MVC Facebook application - dual template

Maybe this is a stupid question and I did not understand exactly how Facebook applications work but here it goes
I want to implement a small e-shop as a Facebook application and for the products to have like button. The application will be instaled on a business page.
The problem is that the link for the like post on the wall will be to the actual eshop not to the facebook application on the business page.(or is it possible to make it to the application (eg. when you click the browser goes to the business page, selects the eshop tab, opens the product)?)
So actually I need to make a eshop site with 2 templates one for outside view and one for IFrame facebook view.
Is it possible to detect (from code-behind not in javascript) If the request is from the iframe or directly from outside?
Or the solution is more simple.. create a small version of the shop for browsing products only to be viewed in facebook and a full shop for outside view and the only relation between them is that when you click the like post from the first one you go to the second one?
I think I have found a solution...
I have created 2 domains that point to the eshop
shop.domainname & facebook.shop.domainname.
And in code behind I can check the Request.Url.Host if it starts with facebook.
For the facebook app the canvas url will be with facebook.shop.domainname and the links from the like button will be for the shop.domainname.
In this way I should be able to use 2 templates for the site and detect witch one I shoul use....
