Is there any way to export custom relationship? - sugarcrm

I have made custom relationships between modules. when i am trying to export the data All of the other module data has come across okay but the relationship data does not seem to be importable.
Is there any way to do this ?

Yes you can, but not by using SugarCRM itself.
By using Talend Open Studio you can talk to the other tables in the SugarCRM database.
I use both the Talend supplied component and a third party component from cloudbee.com.

Database design for custom objects for SaaS application

I’m looking forward to creating a multitenant-based SASS application. I have defined database design like each tenant using different databases (Postgres) with standard objects(tables) like contact, and accounts. So far clean, I can see many SaaS application supports Custom Object(tables), where customer can create their own objects in real-time and required columns. I would want to support the same. Could someone please explain the backend logic behind that? How can we add new tables for custom objects in the database and refresh the DbContext entity at runtime?
Note: I’m aware for custom fields, many choice JSON-type columns in Postgres, it opens ways to add as many custom columns as JSON type in existing tables. But don’t find any recommended way to do custom object support.
EF doesn't really support adding tables at runtime. You can use ADO.NET queries to work with tables whose schemas aren't known at design-time.

TYPO3 Extbase: Access to external data sources (external web service)

the TYPO3 documentation here https://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/ExtbaseFluidBook/6-Persistence/4-use-foreign-data-sources.html says, it is possible to use external data sources for extbase objects: "These foreign data sources could be tables from the same TYPO3 database or a web service."
The used data mapper allows at least to map objects to any table within the same MySQL database.
I am interested in this "or a web service" part. How to configure the data/property mapper to fetch and store an extbase model from an external web service (e.g. REST)?
Is it already possible with TYPO3 core? If not, does anyone know an extension which such capabillities?
You are looking at very old documentation there. Although this is still valid to learn Extbase concepts, I would not recommend the ExtbaseFluidBook for hardcore-details any more. I suppose the claim you quote reflects more of a wish or a slight possibility, not a reality. I am not aware of anybody having gone that route yet.
If I wanted to make an external source look "Extbasey", I would implement a repository and models but just use own logic to select and persist.
Side note: Typo3 v8 integrated doctrine, but only working with records, not objects (-dbal, not -orm): https://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/CoreApiReference/ApiOverview/Database/Introduction/Index.html - this is used more and more in the core and in extensions. It might be feasible to include doctrine-orm and a doctrine-REST-backend like https://packagist.org/packages/circle/doctrine-rest-driver.

asp.net 5 web api - right tool for the job?

I have a number of tables inside a database that I use for 4-5 different websites. These tables already exist and have plenty of data and views/stored procedures/functions etc. already completed.
I would like to provide an api to give access to each of these tables to whichever website I happen to be using so they're accessing the data in a consistent manner. I have Visual Studio 2015 and have been trying to create a Web Api using EntityFramework.
However, every tutorial I find for accessing databases insists on creating the database and tables within the code for the api, and utilizes just the tables with the various CRUD actions handled within.
As I have the tables built, I don't want to recreate them, and as I have some programming already in place using functions/stored procs, I don't really want to reinvent the wheel and recreate it all.
I did find this: http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/4b0136/working-with-stored-procedures-using-entity-framework-part/ for EF6 (though I believe I'm using EF7, but that seems to be importing each function in turn, which seems.. kludgy)
So my question is two-fold:
Is ASP.NET 5 web api the right tool for the job?
Can the ASP.NET 5 web api handle stored procedures easily?
At time of writing it's currently easier to build an API over an existing database using ASP.NET 4.6 and EF 6. This tutorial describes how you can go about building a model from an existing database:
http://www.asp.net/mvc/overview/getting-started/database-first-development/creating-the-web-application
Once you have a model and your classes in place, you can then follow any article on scaffolding Web API.

How to create/insert product programmatically in Websphere Commerce 7 WCS7

I'm developing an ecommerce based on Websphere Commerce 7 WCS7. I need to import products from an external supplier, which is exposing a webservice. I've already implemented a Controller Command performing all the operation needed to extract the products from the remote service, and I've them avalaible as custom Java classes.
I'm a little bit confused about the approach I should follow in this case. I've defined the attributes needed in my scenario and used the dataload utility to import them in the DB. What should I do next? I expect to be able to "create" WCS product programmatically from my Controller Command but I don't know how to use the attribute I've defined in a programmatic insert.
Can someone point me on the right track on how to perform this kind of operation? I went through the documentation, but, given the fact I'm quite new of the WCS environment, I don't know how to proceed according to the current best practices.
It is possible to create a new catalog entry programmatically if you copy what is being done in the LOBTools. I have not done this myself though. I have always added new products via the data loads and when we did need to add from an external service I just output the information to a file and loaded along with our other products. The reason was due to keeping the catalog in sync with the product management system.
Have a look at the various DataBean classes in WCS, like: CatalogEntryDataBean.

Entity Framework - Preserving Data

Using Model First, what is the best way to approach preservation of existing database data when the model changes and the database has to be regenerated?
The Database Power Pack extension no longer works (I've been trying to contact the author). I can't find anything that provides similar functionality.
R.
If database power pack doesn't work there is no other automatic way. Manual way requires running created SQL script on another database and using Visual Studio Database tools to create difference script between the current and the newly created database.
