I have an FB page tab store and currently we are trying to build a mobile optimized site using the same set of code.
m.siteurl is the mobile site URL (both web and mobile shares the same set of code). Everything works fine except Facebook and Pinterest share.
I was able to share in FB two to three time, but most of the time nothing happens. Pinterest didn't work for me in mobile.
As mentioned above m.siteurl is my mobile site URL and if I take the same in desktop every thing works fine, only with the mobile browser I have issue.
We are using FB.ui javascript method with parameters method, link, picture, name, description. Is there any additional parameters or method to take care this.
Please can anyone help.
Thanks in advance.
Even i am stuck with it. The fact Jscript-sdk uses popups for its actions. So share button Fb.Login() methods wont work in mobile. I myself had to change my website with a manual fb login instead of js-sdk.

When a user opens a link in their Facebook iPhone app to our page, how do you get the Smart App Banner to show at the top of the page? It doesn't show I'm assuming because the Apple Dev site says Smart App Banners don't show up in frames. Is there a way around this? Do I have to build my own custom banner?
This is also an issue in Twitter. Our app shares links to FB and Twitter back to our site. I'm trying to figure out how to make the Smart App Banner to show up whether viewing in iPhone Safari, Facebook, or Twitter.
Smart App Banners require a meta tag in the header of the page. They cannot be used in frames. So without access to the source code of Facebook and Twitter, this isn't possible.

Yes, you will have to build your own smart banner or use someones work. I had the same problem and would like the visitors to our website to find our app using a "smart banner".
I have adapted this great script: https://github.com/ijason
Had to make a few changes to link to the app in App Store instead of the artist e.g. changed the code artistViewUrl to trackViewUrl = json.results[0].trackViewUrl to link directly to the app instead of the developer in my case.
It's implemented here and has been tested it in Messenger, Twitter and the native Facebook app. The usual smart banner is shown in Safari. The other will appear in other browsers and when using frames.

So far it has given the result I was aiming for even though Facebook steals the best spot in the Messenger app. Hope it helps.
I have a web app at www.mydomain.com/webapp and its set up with Google Analytics. I create a facebook app at apps.facebook.com/webapp and iframe in the above url.
Is there a way to distinguish activity of users on facebook from users on mydomain?
Thanks for any help and direction you can give me.
You could use JavaScript to determine that your page is displayed in an iframe – but that would also be true if maybe other sites embedded your page.
A better way would be to check for the [signed_request][1] parameter that gets POSTed to your app on initial load into the iframe. (If you were paranoid about someone “faking” that, you could also verify the signed_request.)
Once you figured out that your page was actually loaded inside Facebook, it should be easy to execute the appropriate JS code to send that info to Analytics.
I have a Facebook app the currently consists of 3 elements - an App on Facebook, Mobile Web, and a Page Tab.
Currently if I use the app URL it detects whether I am on a mobile or not and directs me to either the app on Facebook or the mobile web site.
What I'd like it to do is always show the app in the context of the page tab. Is there anyway to force this?
I tried looking at whether I could use the page tab URL directly and have that redirect to the mobile but depending on how I've linked it either returns a 404 or just takes you to the Facebook page. I appreciate I could do my own mobile detection but I thought I'd check if I'm missing something in Facebook first.
I wrote an explanation of how to do this here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14434072/create-facebook-page-tab-and-publish-template-on-it/14455665#14455665
Hope this is what you are after!
On my client's Fanpage, a third party app is running for a contest. How can I make this FB contest page available on mobile? I read the answer here:

Facebook SDK : Page Tab App returns not found in mobile Facebook App
I do not understand it clearly.
Is the query parameter ?ref-ts which we have to add at the end of URL?
What does it mean by "It helps in the browser but not the app itself."?
Will it help to see the App on mobile and click on it to go to the contest page on FB?
Also, I found this answer:
Works as advertised! Thank you. I was getting 404, but simply adding
ref=ts in my redirect URLs (I force users to use my app as a page tab)
fixed it! – Guillaume Boudreau
under the first link above but what is forcing users to use app as a page tab?
How can I set App as a page tab?
little bit confused.
I searched the web vigorously but did not get any clear explanation.
My observations about this issue:
Seems like it's an ANDROID issue, Work OK on iPhone's
Work with the link redirection services like Bit.ly (where the bit.ly link included the ref=ts)
I sent an email to Facebook for ANDROID developers.
Hi,
my iPhone's user colleagues can open links to page tab app with ref=ts
parameters but on Android we can't ;-(
The only way we've been able to do it is when the link to the app is
under a bit.ly redirection link
The problem is only when the links are open through the Facebook App.
Thanks

You can access to your app using the next link https://apps.facebook.com/YOUR-APP-ID
In this way, you can access from a desktop or a mobile with no problem.
I'm trying to set up my app for the App Center and have come across an issue on the mobile site preview.
For the main Website preview Facebook is passing the code auth token parameter in the query string as expected. I am using this to login the user and display a personalized experience as they ask for in the guidelines.
However on the Mobile Web site Facebook is not passing this parameter after authentication. The only alternative seems to be to use the Javascript SDK to automatically login the user.
I've also noticed that on the preview page the Website version links directly to my website whereas the Mobile preview links to the m.facebook.com/apps URL, though they should be set up the same.
I also have this problem, but with the very Website option, as I don't use the mobile one. As a matter of fact, I have never seen the code in the query parameters coming directly from the app center, and I have been doing this for quite a while.
