I am new to webspeed, and need to know (using HTML/Javascript) how to refresh the page after every submit button. There are three submit & cancel buttons.
On every submit of some input field, if the input field value is valid then only I should show some other input fields with submit and cancel buttons.
Again on submit of above, it should show some other fields.

I use the Text Field element for creation of the button. Interests a question:
Whether it is possible to make so that when pressing the button, the graph which is in the same report it was updated?
For example, on graphics data in a month are specified, when pressing the button, the graph is updated and on it data in a year are shown?
I'm looking to create "Welcome" window of sorts for the database I'm working on. The window would have four buttons. My current issue is with a button that I want to use to open a form I've already created.
The trick is this form is meant to be the input window to a table, so I don't want the form to come pre-populated with any data, it would (if completed) create a new record, but only once the form is completed.
Opening the form isn't the trouble (DoCmd.OpenForm "form name"), what I'm not sure is how to have it open blank.
DoCmd.OpenForm "form name",,,,acFormAdd
This opens the form to a "new" record.
If the form is bound to a table, then you can open it to a "new" record but that record is added to the database as soon as the first value is input. This doesn't fit your requirement of the record being added "only once the form is completed".
If the form is unbound, it's technically already on a blank record but you would have to create some event to save that record to the table. That event could be the OnClick event of a button, or the AfterUpdate event of a required field (although the OnClick event of a button is probably the proper method 99.999% of the time).
When using an iPhone to fill out a form, I hit the Next button on top of the keyboard to navigate from one field to the next. Non-text fields such as lookup and radio are skipped right over to the next text field. A dropdown field however, can be accessed with Next/Previous. How to prevent this from happening?
Any suggestions?
I have a aui form with Liferay.Autofields enabled.
The fields that I am duplicating with Autofield has a button and a textfield. The button click will trigger the datepicker and the selected value should be stored in the textfield.
And, when I click the "PLUS" button provided by Autofield, the fields are duplicated.
First, I need to know how I can bind the trigger event of all buttons to the datepicker. I know to do this for a single button. But since we are using autofield, I need to give the ID of the button with the index. Can anyone suggest how to bind the trigger event in my scenario
Second, once I click the date picker button, I should be able to get index of the Autofield row in which I have clicked, so that I can update my textfield
I have a very simple asp.net form.
a text box,
a dropdownlist with autopostback,
a submit button
now if i type in some value into the textbox
and then select an item in the dropdown which causes a page postback.
then click on submit button
the value in the text box does not get saved into the autocomplete data store.
if i do the opposite.
select an item from the dropdown which will cause a page postback.
type in some values in the textbox.
click submit.
the value is saved for the autocomplete.
I think this may have something to do with the page life cycle and the viewstate. but how do i get around this issue? I'm using IE8.
I have tried the AutoCompleteSaveForm command. but it does not work if there's a postback immediately after the execution of it.
Use this for IE:
if($.browser.msie){window.external.AutoCompleteSaveForm(FormName)};
It does not work for Firefox and I'm trying to find the answer for that....
