Change URL in email sent by SSRS - email

I have a reportserver that is succesfully able to send out subscriptions as emails.
However, if I include the link to the report, the link is 'local'.
The reportserver can be reached using
http://reporting.mycompany.com
OR internally through our VPN.
The link in the email added by SSRS looks like
- http://HOST_NAME/ReportServer/PATH_TO_REPORT
I have looked, tried, searched but I cannot find as solution.
In the RS Configuration Manager two URL's have been added for the Web Service URL:
- http://reporting.mycompany.com:80/ReportServer
- http://HOST_NAME:80/ReportServer.
If I remove the second I can no longer connect, internally OR externally.
The Report Manager URL is set up as
- http://reporting.mycompany.com:80/Reports
The only thing I want is to have the URL in the emails to look like
- http://reporting.mycompany.com:80/ReportServer/PATH_TO_REPORT
I have been looking at the RS Configuration Manager, the RSconfig file, IIS but for the love of me, I cannot find a way to change the link in the email......
Who can point me in the right direction?
Thanks for thinking with me!
Instructions on this didn't help either :s

The instructions in this link are correct;
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic673108-162-1.aspx
The fault actually was in the certificate that was being used.....

The link also worked for me but I had to use ReportServer instead of Reports in the
Correct url: "http://myserver.mydomain.com/ReportServer
^
Incorrect url: "http://myserver.mydomain.com/Reports
^

The location on SSRS 2019 is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services\SSRS\ReportServer\rsreportserver.config
Look for <UrlRoot> and enter http://<youralias>/ReportServer

InternalServiceFault when trying to connect SPGo to SP Online in VS Code

I'm trying to connect the SPGo plugin in Visual Studio Code to a Sharepoint Online site. There are lots of guides for this, for instance this one: https://medium.com/niftit-sharepoint-blog/saying-goodbye-to-sharepoint-designer-ac939a0b79ba
In short, I'm doing it like this:
Open VS Code
Open a local, empty folder)
SPGO: Configure workspace (follow guide, ending up with spgo.json
looking like the one I pasted)
SPGO: Populate local workspace (asking me for credentials and I plot
it in O365 style (email and password).
Statusbar says "Populating workspace"
After about 10 seconds I get the pasted error in the output window (spgo)
I'm using newest versions:
Visual Studio Code 1.37.1
SPGo 1.4.3
I have tried various sites in my tenant and I know they are up. I am Site Collection Administrator for the sites. I know the credentials are correct, of course. the remoteFolders and publishingScope doesn't affect anything, when changed. I assume authenticationType should be "Digest".
SPGo.json:
{
"sourceDirectory": "src",
"sharePointSiteUrl": "https://domain.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteName",
"publishingScope": "Major",
"authenticationType": "Digest",
"remoteFolders": [
"/SitePages/"
]
}
I don't get any files in the local folder, instead I get an error in the output:

Sorry I missed this post for so long. First- thanks for the detailed write-up. This is the first time I've seen this specific issue with SPGo, so I do not know for sure what is the root cause.
Couple questions:
Are you using ADFS Authentication with your Office 365/SharePoint Online instance?
Are you able to use Addin-Only Authentication on this SP Site?
SPGo should be able to automatically work with ADFS in SharePoint Online but, as a fall-back, you could use Addin-Only Authentication. In this scenario you would create a ClientId and ClientSecret pair for the SharePoint Site Collection you are accessing and authenticate using those credentials. The ClientId would act as your UserName, and the ClientSecret would be your password.
Under the covers, I am using the node-sp-auth package for user authentication. Sergei (s-KaiNet on Github) has a great write-up on how to enable Addin-Only Authentication in SharePoint Online on his site, which you can find here.
Thanks for using SPGo!

Troubleshooting QuickBooks Web Connector issue

Try to troubleshooting QuickBook's Web Connector by following helping URL: Click Me. When I try to Add an application into Web connector getting following error: "QBWC1048: QuickBooks Web Connector could not verify the web application server certificate. QBWC1051: The new application was not added"
QuickBook throws the 1048 error because it is unable to complete a GET request at the AppURL that specified QBFS.qwc file. This is because test.developer.intuit.com restricts GET requests via the SOAP API.
To get around this, include a parameter in the .qwc file, and set it to the same value as your AppURL without the URL path.
For example, if your AppURL is https://mycompany.cs1.force.com/services/Soap/class/myApiClass, then set CertURL to https://mycompany.cs1.force.com.
This is the solution suggested by the QBWC log file, and it worked for me.
Reference URL
I found I had this problem because my software was trying to load the file
http://developer.intuit.com/uploadedFiles/Support/QBWebConnectorSvc.wsdl
which no longer exists. :(
So I got a WSDL from
https://test.developer.intuit.com/QBWC/TroubleshootWebServiceFS/Service.asmx?wsdl
and put it in my Site's root directory, then changed my code to point there, and it worked.

Using SQL Server CE 4.0 with Entity Framework on Windows Azure

I am using SQL Server CE 4.0 with WebApi on Windows Azure Websites. I have been successfully able to deploy SQL Server CE. The weird problem I am facing is that my site is able to log me in using the same DB but I am not able to use any of the controllers to fetch the data.
I am using same connection string for both. The only difference is that for logging in I am using WebSecurity as I have enabled OAuth on the site.
Can someone throw some light on how to debug and fix this issue? The error I am getting for the calls is
Format of the initialization string does not conform to specification
starting at index 0.
However the same string works for authentication, change password, adding OAuth connections etc.
Thanks in advance
I connected to the site using FTP. I was not giving the site name as domain name and it was denying me access earlier. On connecting, I got hold of the Web.config file and I found something interesting. While publishing the site, the web.config was modified to add another connectionstring with the name of context_DatabasePublish.
This string had following details connectionString="ContextName_DatabasePublish.ConnetionString" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"
Also there was a new section called context added to the entityframework section of the config file with all the details for the context to use but again pointing to same connection string. The provider it is using is sql and not sqlce. I believe that is the reason it was failing.
I uploaded my normal config file and the site started working. I need to explore more on to why and how the new connection string got added. I will post the details in comments.

Setting moodle online

Good day everyone, I have been trying to put my moodle online so pcs from internet can access it, but until now, no luck at all. (Im using moodle 2.3.2 on Windows Server 2008 and IIS 7).
I tried to configure the moodle file config.php, setting the directive $CFG -> wwwroot = "my-public-ip/moodle". Then, when I access to moodel from the server, I can access it by "http://my-public-ip/moodle", when I try to access via localhost, it sends an error which it is OK.
But the funny part comes when I try to access the server from an outside pc. When I type "http://my-public-ip/moodle" it simply cant "see" the configuration I made to the config.php file (it says: This server cna only be accessed via localhost/moodle) it looks like the outside pcs are either ignoring it, or searching for another configuration file. I dont know what the hell is happening, this is very odd.
Any ideas?? tnx!!!
Change the following file:
lib-->setuplib.php
Redirect ($CFG->wwwroot, get_string('wwwrootmismatch', 'error', $CFG->wwwroot), 3);
for
Redirect ($CFG->wwwroot, get_string('wwwrootmismatch', 'error', $CFG->wwwroot), 0);
I realise this is an old question, but it's also worth pointing out you may need to also run the database search and replace script, at:
http://my-public-ip/moodle/admin/tool/replace/index.php
as referenced in Method 2 here.
This is required if you change the name of the site once you have installed it. If you were already using Moodle under "localhost", then there will be a number of references to the old localhost address stored in the database that need to be updated to the new IP-based address.
It might be because the http:// part is missing?
$CFG->wwwroot = "my-public-ip/moodle"
should be
$CFG->wwwroot = "http://my-public-ip/moodle"

Renaming report server url

i have set a sql report server [ssrs 2008 r2] and the url is like this>
http://Computer-name/ReportServer
I actually need the change the "Computer name" part, should that be done in asp.net ? i've tried using urlroot from the reporting service configuration file and it did not work.
Thanks a lot!
Bruno
The computer-name is the hostname or network name. You'd have to either change it or use your local DNS to forward traffic to say http://reports/ReportServer
