How to fix 'Internal Server Error' for Zend Server? - zend-framework

I just downloaded ZendServer 6.2.0 and installed it to my computer. My OS is Windows 7. When I tried to launch the desktop icon, the browser said 'Internal Server Error'. How should I go about checking the root cause and fix it? How can I start using the server?

I finally got it working. I am posting the solution here in the hope that it will help others.
I checked "Zend Server/Apache2/logs/error.log" and found that a line says: "Zend Enabler cannot load because of a problem in its configuration file: XML parse error on line 1 column 1 - invalid byte '?' at position 3 of a 3-byte sequence"
Here is the solution:
Open "Zend Server/Zend Server/etc/ZendEnablerConf.xml". You will see some messed up characters in the first line. Delete them. Make sure the first line is properly tagged. Restart the Apache2.2 Zend Server at your system tray.
Now you can launch the icon.

Umbraco & goDaddy| error when trying to work with Umbraco back office

Like the header says I am getting an error when trying to work with Umbraco(6.2.1) back office
This is the error:
I already talked with goDaddy support, they says everything is OK from their side.
I flowed every "tutorial" I could find regarding this.
This is an error I am seeing in Goggle Chrome Console:
I am now clueless about what to do next.
*every help will be much appreciated.
This is the config folder:
This is the -- file -- it self
The error says you have an incorrect TinyMCE configuration. It will be a problem with that component and not the host. There is a [Umbraco support ticket] which suggested this may be fixed in release 6.2, but also a [forum post] where its said this could happen in all versions, when a style-sheet which is registered in the database is deleted.
Are you sure all the files are present in the deployed /config/ folder? Check that there is a /config/tinyMceConfig.config file present.

How to fix Malformed help URL while opening ACC ATG?

I'm using jboss + mysql for running ATG. I'm trying to open Admin Control Center through dyn/admin. However, I'm getting malformed help URL before I get login form. Once I logged in, I'm getting multiple alerts of same exception but with different help ids.
Did any one face this issue and found a workaround?
This issue has been observed because of not having protocol.jar in classpath while starting jboss server. You can follow this workaround to fix the issue.
Copy %DYNAMO_HOME%/DAS/lib/protocol.jar to C:\lib or any folder that is easily accessible to you.
Open Standalone.conf.bat
and add following line in the file.
set "JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -Djava.endorsed.dirs=C:\lib"
Open the Jboss server after the above update is done. The error will be resolved.
Weblogic:
Copy the protocol.jar form DAS\lib to your domain lib folder and restart weblogic.
Ex: C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\lib

phpmyadmin blank screen after installing Zend server

I installed LAMP on Ubuntu 12.0.4 LTE. Then I installed phpmyadmin. Everything was good. I used phpadmin to do lots of DB administration....
Then I installed Zend CE server. Now, phpmyadmin throws a blank page. No login screen.
So, I reinstalled my VPS in the same sequence again. No luck. Same behavior.
This time, I installed Apache, Mysql, PHP and Zend server in that order. Then I installed phpmyadmin....Unfortunately, still blank page on phpmyadmin.
Any help?...Thanks in advance.
First, for all those that posted their suggestions to my above issue, thanks!.
Of course, I had to dig deeper into forums and threads to find the specific root cause and solution for this issue.....and after spending few hours...finally, I resolved it!. Thanks to the following bug discussion link on php.net.
https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=25876
I tired many suggested fixes there but they didn't help. The suggestion that finally fixed the problem was pasted below ( so that let the credit go to the right owner):

If you are gettin the following error:
"Fatal error: session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module: files (path: ) in...."
Make sure that you have setup the session save path in your php.ini:
session.save_path = "/tmp"
which seems to be disabled by default.
I swear using Open Source software is tough!. I have spent whole day on this issue alone. My goal was to build some software and I have yet to get to it!!.

Installing Zend on a Plesk Shared Host

I've created an Zend Application on a local machine, with Zend Server Installed on it.
However I am now looking to migrate it to a live host - Shared hosting with Parallel Plesk 8.4.0
I've moved everything up and at one point I was just getting a blank screen when loading the public folder.
I tweaked the public/index.php file to include Error_Reporting(E_ALL|E_STRICT)
So I am now getting an error from the script. The error I am getting is...
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Config_Exception' with message 'Error parsing /var/www/vhosts/eekonomics.co.uk/httpdocs/application/configs/application.ini on line 4
Theres more to the error. But alot of it seems irrelevant, If required I can post the rest.
Has anyone any ideas how I can get this setup and working, Its slowing me down big style :-(
Any help appreciated...
Changing the application.ini file from APPLICATION_PATH to the absolute path of the files seems to have fixed this.
I've got another error associated with PDO Adapter not being installed, but that is down to a server install issue rather than Zend / PHP.

PHP Sockets Not Working

I switched from Lighttpd server to WAMP and then found sockets in php are not working. But php is configured and working. (phpinfo() works) I removed the comment for the php_sockets.dll in php.ini # C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.5.but still gives the error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function socket_create()". Any more configurations to do to enable sockets in php in WAMP? (php_sockets.dll is there as well, I've checked)
Thank You!
Apparently there are two php.ini files - and the command line uses a different one to the Apache server.
find the line ;extension=php_sockets.dll and remove the semi-colon from both files.
The Apache php.ini file is located at:
X:\WAMP INSTALL DIR\bin\apache\Apache2\bin\php.ini
The command prompt php.ini file is located at:
X:\WAMP INSTALL DIR\bin\php\php.ini
Worked straight away for me...
Title is misleading - in your case PHP soockets are merely not available.
I removed the comment for the php_sockets.dll in php.ini # C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.5
Did you check that is the .ini file which PHP is using at runtime?
Did you restart the webserver?
Have you got all logging enabled?
Do you get startup errors?
C.
