Tumblr: Three sections, each one displays posts with different tags - tumblr

I have a really important question for you guys. I want to use Tumblr as a CMS for my blog. But my theme has a few sections, for example 3. In section one I want to display 3 recent posts with tag X. In section two, three recent posts with tag Y, and in section three with tag Z. Of course everything on one page (index). I was wondering if it's even possible to do. What do you think guys, is it possible? If so, how to do that?
Thanks!

Using the standard Tumblr theme engine, this is not possible. You might be able to put together a solution using the Tumblr API, but that would be a pretty in-depth undertaking.

Should I use dynamic pages or actual files for blog?

I've seen news sites (CNN, Fox News, etc.) use HTML files as their post content. For my blog, I currently use dynamic pages (e.g. www.example.com/post/?id=3).
I'm wondering if this is the correct way to go, mostly because AdSense won't accept /post/ for ads. Is this because it's just pulling up /post/ & not the id?
So basically, which way do you recommend? Thanks
It depends on the contend of your page. But basically the good way is to create easy to read links like:
http://example.com/drive-to-norway
It's because it's easy to read for people and before clicking the user knowns what it could be (instead for example: http://example.com/id=3)
Some bigger pages do not use that convention because they for example sell a lot of similar items and having named, unique links without any numbering isn't possible/easy for them. Like I wrote at the beginning - it depends on content.

How to display ALL Facebook Comments on my Blog in ONE place?

Yes, before you ask, I need to clarify that I looked a possible
solution up but that wasn't what I'm trying to achieve.
What I really wan't to do cannot be explained in a few words so I'm going to give a short verbose explaination.
Like this familiar interface of comment-tool in facebook's developer site , I want to be able to see people/pages commenting on my different posts(webpages) in a single static page onmy website.(Pictures below):
Image-1: Comment-tool interface on developers.facebook.com
Image-2: Image of people commenting on some webpage displayed beside their name... and subsequent comments on different webpages following it
Ofcourse, I could use the comment-tool present in developers.facebook.com but that gives me access to me and my collaborators only. I need any visitor to be able to see what people are commenting on different posts, in a single page.
Since, this feature is already an option for comment-tool/app admins and moderators, I stand within reason to think that there must be some way to do this publicly too!
tl;dr version:
I want to bring the comment-tool interface found in developer.facebook.com to a webpage on my blog. Can anyone help me? I might drop a bounty if I really like your soultion :)

confluence display content by user

I am trying to get specific content on a confluence cloud wiki to display content based on a specific user. The scenario here is that there are links on a page but only 1 should display, the one that displays is based on whom ever is logged in.
I have been told how a macro is the way forward, but I have read the documentation and I am at a loss. I do not understand what I have to do or how to write a confluence macro. could someone help me out with either an example or some links? I have searched like crazy, but maybe i am not asking the right questions but hopfully you can all help me out?
There's a plugin for this:
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.customware.confluence.plugin.visibility
But I'm not sure how thoroughly it hides the content. It might still be visible if users view the page source. If you're trying to hide content which needs to be really protected, you'll probably need to do something else.
Depending on how many users are going to be using the page, you could also just make separate spaces for them, add the permissions to those spaces, and then use a page-include on your "main" page to display the content. If they don't have access it shouldn't show up. You might experience some formatting issues with that solution, however.
Finally, you could grab the username with jquery and display stuff based on that. This solution will be pretty easy if you are familiar with javascript/jquery.
Edit: Here are some helpful resources on how to use javascript and jquery within confluence:

Enhanced Table extension for TYPO3

I'm fairly new to TYPO3 and as far as I can see it's pretty poorly maintained as far as documentation goes. Some of the tutorials and documentation are almost a decade old and I was wondering if anyone here knows of any useful extensions that could enhance the standard content tables in the backend.
I have some tables that contain a bunch of links with images. A sort of categories gallery with thumbnails if you will.
The point being that at some point this gets passed on to a client who won't know what to do with HTML markup and i was wondering if anyone knew of 1) a good WYSIWYG table editor extension and 2) a categories gallery plugin with the option to add thumbnails to each category.
Cheers.
Look for some of the more recent plugins. I don't usually go back more than a year or two when searching for an extension.
I'm not exactly sure what you're looking to do, but did you know you can arrange the standard image elements in different ways, linking each image to a different page, kind of like what can be seen at: http://www.thedemo.ca/demonstrations/image-and-text-alignment.html

Is it possible to get the page number and line number in iPhone

Is it possible to get the page number and line number of particular text from doc/rtf/pdf in iPhone sdk?
Can QLPreviewController or UIDocumentInteractionController be of any help?
EDIT:
I am trying to create something like iAnnotate,Sente. Application where in user will be able to select some text and can add comments for selected text.
I have gone through the fastpdfkit api's which seems the only api which can be of some help.
Can you guys guide me in the right direction.

Go with this link, it will help you for PDF reader and you can see there how I am doing total page and current page.
If you're looking at doing this with PDF, RTF and DOC it might be best to approach it in a different way as they are all very different formats.
Instead - if you consider attaching comments to an area of the page as opposed to a specific text selection then all you need to know about the document is which page you're looking at. A much easier task. Then you get the user to 'drag out' a comments box for an area of that page. Think of them more like sticky-notes.
This way you can add comments to images as well as text and it allows a much more flexible system for support of other file formats in the future.
I realise this isn't I direct answer to the question, but thought it relevant enough to post.
