I'm using Mapbox editor (https://www.mapbox.com/editor) for editing my maps.
But after first save, only Editor view updates with new data.
So, I'm adding new markers and press Save and see changes on the screen.
But my embeded map doesn't have new updates.
I've also checked 'markers.geojson' and Share link, both have only first time saved data.
I've checked diff preferences but can't find anything related to this issue...
Got response from Mapbox:
"Between the time that you edit data on your maps and when the GeoJSON
public representation (your markers) updates, there's a delay of up to
an hour. Hope this helps and let me know if you have questions."
Yes, looks like it updates with delay or how i suppose rather ones per hour.

When an HTML editor is used and images are added from the local computer, they are uploaded to a server and a link is obtained to put it in the image src attribute. What happens when the img element is removed from the editor? How would the image be deleted from the server? In this case I understand that the image deletion event could be detected and then call a service to delete it. But what happens if the user adds a new image and leaves the page? How would it be deleted in these cases?
In both cases, if the deletion of the images is not managed, it could happen that the server is filled with unused images. How do you usually solve this problem? How is the proper way to solve this?
That's a nice question there. And yeah, for sure the server would fill up with unused images in some point. I'm not an expert on this but I'll try to suggest something so I can implement it too in my WYSIWYG editor haha. I suppose you have a custom modal for the insertion of the image. Upon clicking the button you could save the image link to an array and at SAVE || on leaving the document edit || on popstate event you could make a regex that checks the innerHTML of the editor for the specific SRC. If is not found then you could push an ajax request with the image name so you can deleteit. For sure there are more efficient and complex ways to achieve that. Such as creating text ranges and track elements on keydown - Backspace(8) / Deletekey(46).
An other way is that you could track the images that are in use. When the document is saved regex out the images in the document, push them to a db table and periodically make a check from the back end so you can delete those that are not in use.
I don't know if my suggestions are helpful or not. I just saw an interesting subject so I jumped in. Cheers mate.
how to select the record in application screen using sikuli-Python.
(This is my screen in application).
i don't have search option in my screen. now i want to fetch a single record from the screen. Somebody Please Help me. I am new to sikuli-python
There are 2 ways to extract data:
Using built in OCR which is largely unreliable and will work in only certain cases. Worth a try however if nothing else working.
Get the data via simulated keyboard and mouse actions. For example, if you can manually navigate to the field using keyboard and use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy data to clipboard, you can do the same with Sikuli.
I tried the example which is showing how to get data from history to re-generate UI; The thing I see mostly in all "history usage" examples are related to UI re-generation only so it is none-static way...
But what about "each UI state may have its unique url something like JSF does with flows"? For example I have app url like a
http://localhost:8080/myapp/MyApp.html
the app default UI contains main menu which is helping to navigate through my test catalog; I tried to make possible keep the UI dynamics in history by building url in this way
http://localhost:8080/myapp/MyApp.html#menu_testcategory_page1
but when I click internet browser "refresh" button the url keeps the same as http://localhost:8080/myapp/MyApp.html#menu_testcategory_page1 but the UI comes back to its default state :(
So my question is
is there an optimal way in pure gwt to stay in the same UI state even after browser's refresh button is clicked (I mean the unload/load window events occur)?
thanks
P.S. gwt 2.3
You should implement Activities and Places pattern: http://www.gwtproject.org/doc/latest/DevGuideMvpActivitiesAndPlaces.html
I am using it for 3 years, and it works very well.
Note, however, that when you reload a page, you lose all of your state, data, etc. If you need to preserve some of it, you can use a combination of a Place (#page1) and a token that tells the corresponding Activity the state of the View representing this Place, i.e. (#page1:item=5).
You probably just forgot to call
History.fireCurrentHistoryState();
from your entry point.
i want to show my current location on custom map.The custom map is of my locality....so,please help me how can i use custom map in place of google map???
The main problem with offline maps is not the "map" but all the stuff you need to build to georeference your map.
Think only at a map zoom.
There are many good open source libraries/SDK to manage offline maps.
--EDIT--
It seems that the free code I found was removed.
As soon as I will find a new available one I will update this comment
I am facing a strange issue!!
I have a set of property page with same storage file.
The scenario is as follow..
For the first time opening the properties by right clicking on the project, list of property pages are viewed. I click on the first property page and make changes then apply the changes to the file.
Now I select the second page, it shows the changes that were applied from the first page.
But now without closing the properties i go back to first page and make changes then apply the changes.
Then again I go to second page it wont show the updated data. The changes that were applied are not viewed until I close the properties and reopen then by right clicking on the project.
My question is
"Is there any way to reflect changes on the pages without closing the properties??"
I appreciate your valuable time you will give for reading and replying..
Plz help
Your problem seems to just absent of reliable model which can notify problem.
If the properties are related IProject.
You should use ScopedPreferenceStore as model.
IScopeContenxt scope = new ProjectScope(myProject);
IPreferenceStore store =
new ScopedPreferenceStore(scope, "myProperties(qualifier)");
IPreferenceStore can manipulate primitive data, default value. And it support property change event. You can create multiple instances of IPreferenceStore, If they have same scope and qualifier then automatically synchronized. So individual page can retrive input model without coupling.
