Is integrating facebook allowed for desktop app? - facebook

I'm currently using facebook with my desktop app. It's working fine now.
But facebook keep requesting me to submit the app. And I cannot find an option to submit native desktop application. The only options I saw are(iOS, Android, Web... ). There is no option for native desktop app. Anyone can help?

The App Detail is needed to submit in order to list your App in the Facebook App Center. It automatically fetches the details from the Settings and allow you to list the platform you want to show in the App Center.
For a web application, you can select ON the Website option in the list, here's the screenshot-

Configuring AIR for desktop as Facebook Application

Creating an AIR desktop application that has the ability to upload images to a Facebook user's account.
Even though this is a desktop application, in order to integrate with Facebook you need to embed a 'webview'. So I am confused as to how I should define this on Facebook? From Facebook's point of view, is this a web application or a desktop application?
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/review/requirements#platforms:
“Desktop apps should submit a Web platform and include detailed screenshots or a screencast of the integration.”
Choose a dummy address for the Website platform (such as http://localhost/), and mention the fact that this is not actually a website app, but a desktop app, very explicitly in your review instructions.

Adobe AIR Facebook login setup

I need to implement facebook login in Adobe AIR app for Desktop/Mobile.
I saw some docs on the code required for this.
My concern is, which platform should be selected in facebook apps console. Is it web ? Then what should be the web urls & where to place them ?
Well if you are building a mobile app, then you might want to select Android or iOS depending on the platform. If you are building the same app for both platforms then select any one of those and later under settings of your app dashboard you can click on Add Platform and add the other one. If your app has a canvas presence then you can add that as well later on. Regardless of what you pick initially, you can always add/edit platforms on your app dashboard.

can people see Facebook IOS app on their facebook?

I've created an IOS app as a Facebook Developer. So my question:
Are people able to see the app when they go into their Facebook - like in the Browser? Or are Facebook IOS apps only something that you can see in the actual app on the iphone/iPad that I'm creating?
Depending on whether the Facebook developer configured a canvas facing site will show what the end user will see.
Any application made by a third party once set to public in app settings can be viewed by anyone.
If you app is made for iOS then either the user will see a misconfigured webpage or dialog asking whether the user wants to send to mobile. All of this of course depends on how the the developer of the application sets everything.

My web app not showing on facebook native app

My app is showing on facebook desktop, m.facebook.com, but not on the native app?
I meant not showing on bookmark or favorite. When I search for it within the native app I can find it.
According to the documentation it should also appear on the native Facebook app bookmark?
Can anyone please advise what did I do wrong? I have set the mobile web setting already.
Thanks
If your app has a native app, the it will show up in the Facebook app bookmark list. If you app is a desktop or canvas app, it shows up on desktop. If your app is a mobile site, then it shows up on m.facebook.com. You need to specify the type of app or apps you support/have/exist in the developer dashboard for the app.

How do you get your app to appear on the Facebook Mobile Application? (specifically iPhone)

We have a popular Facebook Application and a version of our App for the iPhone. I was wondering how we can make our Application appear in the "Apps" Section on the new Facebook iPhone app. On my iPhone I currently see links to the App store for Pixable, Badoo, Airbnb, Foursquare and WhoisNear iPhone Application.
I have filled out the Native iOS App settings in the Developer section on Facebook (including adding the Bundle ID and the iPhone app store ID) several weeks ago thinking it took a while to update, but still nothing shows up on my iPhone app.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best,
M
Screenshot of where we want our app to show up:
Edit your Application Settings and on the Basic Settings specify a Mobile Web URL for your Mobile Web integration. You should be able to set the URL to your app's iTunes URL.
Fill out the iOS information within the admin settings of your application, which also means they are using the same application id. You also have to have granted at least the basic permissions via connect on the app, and have the app installed on the phone.
