I have just opened new sandbox account on paypal, but I cant find the way to allow it to pay via credit card like on the production account..
I have found the the way to do it is to go into profile and turn on something called "PayPal Account Optional" but I cant find it in the profile page..
It seems you can find this option here: Profile (in top menu) > My Selling Tools > Website Payment Preferences > PayPal Account Optional section or direct link

I am using "PayPal Payments Standard" to integrate PayPal with my application. I need the users to be able to pay using just their card information without having to create a PayPal account / log in to PayPal.
I understand that "Express Checkout" has this feature but I don't want to put the PayPal button on my application.
Is this feature available from the "Standard" API?
What settings will I need in order for this to work?
I am using a Business account for testing but I always am prompted to login / create new account when I redirect from my application.

"PayPal Payments Standard" has that feature available. Please check your account settings here:
Profile > My selling tools (or: My selling preferences) > Website Preferences > Update > PayPal Account Optional: On.
For "Express Checkout" you will have to set SOLUTIONTYPE=Sole in your SetExpressCheckout API call. However, this not fully guarantee that guest payment will be allowed, it depends also the country of the seller.
When trying to pay for products/services through paypal, I get to see two possible options. One of them allows you to pay through your paypal account or debit/credit card while the other option only allows to pay through your paypal or register a new account.
I have trie to go over all the information about business accounts on paypal, but did not find any related information.
I am attaching screenshots of both paymnet sites.
Any guidance is vey much appreciated.
There is a feature called Account optional in PayPal.This is a merchant/seller setting and no buyer has control over it.
To turn the feature on or off, simply log in to PayPal, go to Profile, click ‘Website Payment Preferences’ under the Selling Preferences column and tick the yes/no box under PayPal Account Optional.
If this feature is turned On, then you will get to see Pay with Credit/Debit Card,
if not you will see Create a PayPal account.
P.S But, sometimes, even if this feature is on, PayPal will still display "Create a PayPal account".
This is due to some restrictions (buyers country,IP, how many times guest checkout is used etc). Its a complex limitation.
I have business PayPal account. I created HTML button - "pay now" to accept payments on my site. After clicking on, the user redirected to secure Paypal page, and can pay with Paypal account but not pay with only credit card number.
If I try to pay with my mobile, this option in enable and I can pay only by credit card! I saw some answers to this similar problem saying to turn on the "PayPal Account Optional" option. I searched in all my account, and didnt found this option.
Anyone know something about this issue?
Actually, it may only seem like that on mobile.
The phrasing is different, but both work off the same configuration, so would behave the same if you were to check out.
Guest checkout is not available in all countries PayPal is available in. Plus, your email address needs to be confirmed on your account (this is often overlooked) and the guest checkout option ('PayPal account optional', available under 'Payment receiving preferences') must be enabled.
If you cannot find this option under 'Payment receiving preferences', it's likely because the option is not available for your country.
I have Premiere account that is verified and I can accept PayPal payments.
But when I create donate or buy now button and click on it I see that non users have to create their PayPal account to pay me. How to enable them to pay to me without they having account?
I guess there is some option for that but I can't find it. Does anyone use it?
You would need to make sure that you have PayPal account optional turned on in your account. You can turn this on by logging into your account and going into your profile settings. Then go to my selling tools and then into website payment perferences. The option to turn PayPal account on should be at the bottom of the page.
When user will pay via credit card, he have to have a PayPal account?

Premier and Business account holders may optionally set that their customers are NOT required to sign in with their PayPal account.
i have some difficulties creating test account in sandbox. I found some similar topics but i still can't understand what to do.
For example this one "How to create test account with PayPal Payments Pro (Use to represent yourself as a merchant using Pro) option selected in sandbox?"
It says login in developers site, ok, done with that. Then "click on the link Preconfigured". What link? I can't find it. It just does not exist on that page and on any other that i searched.
Why i cannot login to https://www.sandbox.paypal.com with my seller account from sandbox, but it's possible to login using clients accounts (personal) from sandbox.
Do i need to apply to Paypal Payments Pro after i registered my sandbox account, and if i need why do i get "Service is not responding due to an internal error. Please contact customer service at +1-888-883-9770.". Also what social security number do i have to use(i just want to check integration with paypal, i dont have any bank accounts or social security numbers. i'm not even from usa)?
Do i need to accept licence agreement and where can i find it? According to this document https://ppmts.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/642/kw/10501 it's located somewhere inside the "Merchant Services" tab. After about an hour of search i found it in old interface. When i click it i'm being redirected to "My account".
Please, help me somebody. I'm sick and tired of that buggy, laggy and terribly designed paypal's site.
Once you are logged into developer.paypal.com, click "Applicatons", then click "Sandbox accounts". You see a blue button at the top of the page that says "Create Account". When you create a business account, you will automatically be signed up for PayPal Payments Pro.
You can then grab your API credentials by clicking the "Profile" link from developer.paypal.com.
Edit:
Updating answer with additional information about creating test accounts.
