I'm doing my first steps with CartoOSM in TileMill.
But since it has about twenty stylesheets (.mss) I can't see them all in TileMill because (depending on Window-Size) just the first six stylesheets are shown.
So how can I see the others ? I haven't found a way, yet!
Thanks for your answers!!
This is a known bug in Tilemill.
One easy workaround for this is to simply edit your mss files in your preferred text editor. Once you save your changes in your mss file, tilemill will re-render the map based on your changes to your mss file.

When I go to print markdown from VSCode it does render the markdown, but it has a very different styling than the on-screen preview. How do I fix this?
VS Code does not support the printing of markdown or anything else. For that you need a printing extension. There are only two of these, and I wrote the one that prints rendered markdown. I'm quite certain you're talking about mine because it has a Markdown: Styles setting and the other one doesn't.
There are settings that allow you to customise styling. It's not currently styled using a stylesheet because there are complications referencing that sort of asset in remoting environments.
To work around this I had to embed styles into the document. This has the unfortunate effect that you cannot override them with a separate CSS file. As a temporary measure, I have made available settings allowing you to customise the embedded styles.
I notice in the screen snap that I have specified "Blackadder ITC" as the font-family. This is not a typeface I would recommend, probably I was giving a demo. I sincerely hope this wasn't in shipped setting defaults. If that's why you think it's "ugly" then change the heading font-family to whatever typeface you prefer for headings. sans-serif will use the local default.
Is there a way to attach images to github issues without drag'n'drop, copy-pasting images or jumping through various hoops - just by using a file picker?
I find drag'n'drop very inconvenient, and copy-paste does not work in Firefox (on top of being rather inconvenient as well).
Github help page only mentions drag'n'drop, or copy-paste for Chrome.
The question here on adding images lists additional methods like creating a custom repository or wiki.
All of that is enough of a pain in the ass for me to ask a question here, hoping for a hidden way to use normal file picker.
There is a file picker. Simply click on the Attach files by dragging & dropping, selecting them, or pasting from the clipboard field.
Yes there is, its very simple, but not intuitive.
Consider this example where you want to comment:
Just click the highligted section with the text "Attach files by dragging and dropping, selecting them, ...".
Then a file dialog will open up:
I know we can save changes from the Sources tab, so this is a different question, can we do the same thing from Elements > Styles?
( Or have the Source tab changed synchronously so that we can save it later? )
I don't know a way. Copy/Paste works though.
In MS Word 2010, when I apply a dotx template to a docx files and different styles exist in the two docs, how can I map a list of styles from the former to a list of differently-named styles from the latter?
Let me clarify the issue.
I have a dotx style file with a few standard styles (ex. heading1, caption etc.) and a few other styles (ex. blockquote, superfigure etc.). I must use this template and cannot change nor add any names there.
I have a document preparation system (ex. pandoc, orgmode) that outputs a docx file. When I compare some of the styles used in this docx I see they have a different name compared to the previous dotx, yet the "meaning" is the same. For example the "blockquote" of the dotx should be applied to the parts of the docx that are marked as "quotedtext".
SO, how can I tell MS Word 2010 to apply the dotx style to my docx mapping "blockquote" to "quotedtext"? Any alternative solution using different tecnologies like xls transform or similar stuff?
Any hint would be really appreciated
In the Home tab, click the widget (little arrow in the corner) of the Styles group to display the Styles pane. Click the Manage Styles icon at the bottom, then the Import/Export button at the bottom-left.
In this dialog you can Copy styles across documents or templates, Rename and Delete them. If the other document or template is not open, click Close File (the right button) then Open File (the button-text changes to this).
Unfortunately, you cannot just switch one style for another (at least, not from here; see below). However, I believe the process of Copy, Rename and Delete could achieve the same effect.
Alternatively, press Ctrl-H for the Replace dialog and press the More>> button. Place the cursor in the 'Find What' box, then Format at the bottom-left, and Style... Choose the style you want to replace. Do the same in the 'Replace with' box. However, the style you want to replace with needs to be available in the current document. Use the sequence outlined above to first bring across the styles you need into the current document. A quick way to bring in all the styles from the other document or template is to copy content from this doc/template to the bottom of the current document, deleting it later.
It is also possible to use the Styles dialog (mentioned above) to modify styles, changing the Style Based on property. However, I wouldn't recommend this approach. You will need to be very thorough and be fully aware of the consequences of the cascade; that is, how each modification affects other styles in the document.
If you need to go through this process for a large number of styles then use the macro recorder. You'll then need to modify the generated code, putting it in a loop.
The question is in the title. It should be silly. But... I really don't see how!
The following are my building paths. Can anyone help ? The goal is to use pdf4eclipse and have a side-by-side view inside eclipse.
You can change the output format in properties of your Latex project:
This has to be done on every Latex project. AFAIR there is no general settings that would allow to change this for all current and new projects.
