I am working with Alfresco as Back-end and in alfresco some task done by executing workflow. Now my problem is I want to add workflow in alfresco manually but i don't know where to put workflow script so i will choose from work space ?
Following picture describes my problem :
I reached below point but don't know what to do further ?
According to above picture From where these bunch of files are came..?? OR At which location i will find these files in project workspace?
Login as admin in alfresco.
Navigate to Company home>Data dictionary>Scripts
You will be able to see all these files.
If you upload any of your js file then it will be automatically pickedup and addedinto this list.
You will find them in Company Home/Data Dictionary/Scripts.

Im a newbie to App Scrips and have challenges with having to authorize my app script to run on each newly created document.
I run a merge with Sheet data in to a Doc template (using Autocrat) and have a script (in the template) that cleans up the merged doc - onopen. The problem is that I have to authorize the script in each newly created document.
The script will only be used by my partner and I. We share GDRIVE access.
Do I have to deploy as an Add-on? Web App? Shared Lib? If Shared Lib - how do I envoke it automatically in the newly created doc?
Any feedback/guidance is much appreciated. Thank you all.
I have tired to create a shared lib, but Im not sure how to automatically included the lib in the newly created document.
Is there a good learning tool/"how to" for this?
As we have below command to extract all the projects/reports from obiee12c analytics
exportServiceInstance( '/oraclehome/user_projects/domains/bi','mycompany.facility', '/workDir', '/scratch/exportDir')
This command provided extracts all metadata information of every projects and folders and report present in analytics as a archived bar file.Is there any other way were I can get metadata information of particular report or project which I need and not all the projects as a bar file or any?
OBIEE comes with several client tool with the "Catalog Manager" being the admin tool of choice for handling catalog-related tasks like yours. It exists as a GU and a command line both so you can also automate/script repetitive tasks like reporting on your reporting objects.
Have a look at the official documentation as it's too much text to just post into an answer here and you may come across things you want or need in there which go beyond your initial question here:
https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12211/biee/BIESG/GUID-E804B1AF-B792-4929-BE47-33CA0F668715.htm#BIESG340
I you only need the reports you can export your reports folder directly from the catalog in OBI web interface or using "Catalog Manager" as suggested by #Chris.
For the repository you can connect Online to your server then from file -> Copy As
Note : exporting the service instance is used for environment migration, it's easier to move all what you need with one bar file (for example having DEV PROD environments).
I need help. I'm trying to create a multiplatform mobile application. One of the functionalities is a local file browser that will allow user to select a directory and create a list of file in this directory. I've already spent couple of hours on that issue and I can not find any solution for that.
I've checked http://ngcordova.com/docs/plugins/file/
But if I understand it correctly it is used when I already have a file, it not allows user to pick the directory.
I don't need anything fancy, it should as simple as possible
The Cordova FileSystem plugin (and ngCordova's wrapper) provide the ability the read directories from the file system. They do not provide any UI, so you would use the plugin to ask for a list of directories and then render it as you see fit. (A UL, a table, whatever.) To "browse" you could use a click handler on the list of directories such that when clicked, you then get the files/subdirectories of that folder. Again, the FS plugin adds support for doing that.
I'm hoping someone can help. I've started using the Community TFS Build Extensions, in particular the FTP activity. I followed the documentation here and got to grips with the it pretty easily. I'm encountering one major problem though.
My Web app has a basic enough structure:
I start by creating the FindMatchingFile activity which places the files in the drop location into an IEnumberable variable called FilesToFTP :
String.Format("{0}\**\*.*", BuildDetail.DropLocation)
When I iterate through the variable and print out the results, all seems correct:
G:\builds\Build.1203\CredentialManagement\bin\BusLogic.dll
G:\builds\Build.1203\CredentialManagement\css\style.css
G:\builds\Build.1203\CredentialManagement\AppError.aspx
......
G:\builds\Build.1203\CredentialManagement\Web.config
etc etc.
The problem is, when I pass that IEnumerable to the Ftp activity (converting it to a string array), it FTP uploads all the files on the server however it doesn't keep the directory structure of my Web app. It just piles all the output (dlls, aspx etc) into one directory. See the following two screenshots.
Is there any way I can use the FTP activity to upload all the output from the drop location recursively? I feel like I'm doing something simple wrong.
The FTP activity in TFS Build Extensions doesn't upload files recursively.
I think it would be a good value addition to the activity. Please create a request for the project and we will add in it. For now, you can go around it by calling the Ftp activity recursively for each directory and setting the RemoteDirectory for each.
I am planning to implement a small in-house document management system. It must have a web GUI for managing a remote folder structure stored in a database. In these folders are word documents stored (physically as blob in a database). Whenever a user clicks on a document link, a word binary is downloaded via browser and (hopefully) opened in Word on the user's PC.
This is the easy part ;)
Now the user hits "Save" or Ctrl-S. I want to have a functionality programmed inside Word that calls a custom function (maybe in a .NET DLL) that uploads the saved file back to the server (HTTP). The hard part seems to me:
How to intercept the Save process to call the extension functionality
How to deploy this to multiple users
Mike's link to the question I answered should do it for intercepting the file save. The specific button idMso for File->Save is "FileSave"
To deploy it to several users machine you can either
Create a setup project that will create an msi that you can run on all the users machines
if it's an intranet scenario, you can keep the assemblies on a network location and just add the neceassary registry settings to all the users machines. This article should describe the settings that you need to include. You would just need to change the path setting to point to the network location.
AFAIK, this is what Alfresco is doing with its Microsoft Office Add-ins (never tested myself though). As Alfresco is open-source, it must be possible to look at what they are doing. Or just ask your questions on Alfresco's forums.
You can try to override "save" from the ribbon or build your own ribbon tab with the behavior you want. It may be trickier overriding "Ctrl-S".
