I am working on Aptana Studio 3 and have downloaded Sencha as below link would advice:
http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2.3.1/#!/guide/first_app
I.e. downloaded Sencha (and XAMPP, installed the unzipped sencha files into a folder called touch inside xampp/htdocs).
Localhost/touch/examples show up fine - so it is definitely working
Have also installed Sencha cmd. This installs sencha cmd line tool version 4.0.x - and I am able to create a folder NewApp with skeletal sencha project using
sencha generate app NewApp NewApp
The content is created inside xampp/htdocs/touch/NewApp folder
Strangely, the tutorial in the link above says to use the command:
sencha -sdk /path/to/touch generate app MyApp
However, I have not been instructed to install the SDK (I tried doing this, but the SDK installed has the sencha cmd line tool version 2.x.x - so I have uninstalled it
I am importing this NewApp folder in Aptana Studio and trying to work with this. How do I get code completion working?
I tried following these instructions : http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?112540-Aptana-Code-Assist-for-Sencha-Touch
6 . In Aptana Studio go to Windows -> Preferences -> Spket -> Javascript Profiles
- Click "New" and write "SenchaTouch"
- Select "SenchaTouch" and click "Add Library" and select "ExtJs" from the list displayed
- Select "ExtJs" and click "Add File" Locate youre "sencha-touch.jsb3" wich is containted in the zip file downloaded from sencha.com. (make
sure all the files from that archive are located in the same folder)
....and click "Open"
However, I simply do not have a .jsb3 file in the zip file i downloaded from for installing Sencha 2.3
There is no more .jsb3 files for sencha touch library since 2.2.1. See this _http://tol8.blogspot.de/2013/02/sencha-ext-js-support-in-eclipse-tested.html.
Use spket plugin to make auto complite function work on eclipse and sencha touch 2.3.x. You can use .js (sencha-touch-all.js) file from sencha touch library working instead of .jsb3 file. I found this blog and tried it with sencha touch 2.3.1 update. To get setter and getter function work check spket forum.

I am using VSC for Unity v2019.4. I have the package from package manager installed. Also I have installed dotnet. The thing is that when I open VSC (through Unity) it shows in the output:
Attempted to update project that is not loaded: C:\workspaces\Unity\MyGame\Assembly-CSharp.csproj.
am able to use the editor, but the Intellisense is not working. I also have tried to change the omnisharp version to latest and it is still not working.
You can try a few things in order to make Visual Studio Code works properly with Unity.
First of all make sure that the editor package is installed in your project via Package Manager. Latest version should be installed.
Just to be sure it's better to close the project, delete Library folder and all .csproj and .sln files.
Then you can open your project in Unity again, wait it to load and try to remember to open scripts not by double clicking, but instead use right click in Project window and select Open C# Project. This will load the scripts without any issues.
In case anyone is still having this problem, try to install .net framework 4.7.1
Try uninstalling then reinstalling vs code and dotnet latest version. Also make sure vs code is installed in a folder with permissions to edit. If not it will not save any files until you run as admin
I'm just starting out with Android development and in general I keep hitting brick walls that seem to have more to do with the IDEs then the anything else. I started out with Eclipse but it kept corrupting my projects and other weird errors. Now I'm trying Android Studio which seems more stable but again a brick wall:
After following the android tutorial to the letter to create the hello world app I tried to add a new activity. The xml file was created fine but the java class file did not show up under src like it did in eclipse. What gives? This is demoralizing me. I long for the days of writing C code for microcontrollers using just an editor and cmd line.
Thanks.
Goto File -> Settings -> Compiler
check use external build then
rebuild project
Update your Eclipse ADT plugin, then export project and the import in Android Studio.
And follow the below link

Since I had problems with compiling JavaFX Code from Eclipse on Mac OSX 10.7 using java development kit 1.7.0_04 i just want to share my intermediate solution with interested people:
Problem:
The jfxrt.jar and other .jar files are not recognized when selecting the new jdk issued by oracle as a new jre/jdk in eclipse.
The jdk is installed within /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.7.0.jdk which is recognized as a package.
Adding the path /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.7.0.jdk/Contents/Home/jre/lib/jfxrt.jar later is not possible since the file open dialog of eclipse does not allow to navigate to the inside of the package
Solution:
Create a symbolic link from outside the package to inside the package and follow the link within the file open dialog.
Simply go to a terminal and execute the following:
[0-/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines]:sudo ln -s 1.7.0.jdk/Contents/ 1.7.0.jdk_Contents
This creates the symbolic link 1.7.0.jdk_Contents using super user permissions (sudo).
By this compilation and execution of JavaFx code works fine and as expected.
It's not need to do all said before, just use a allmost unknown behaviour of Finder dialogs: Drag & Drop.
You can open a Finder window from console with:
open /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_25.jdk/Contents/Home/jre/lib
so yo will see jfxrt.jar and other .jar files. Drag this files to Eclipse's Add external jar dialog window... et voila!
Dependencies satisfaced! No link needed!
The initial JavaFX 2.1 release in jdk1.7.0_u4 was not supported by e(fx)clipse.
This support thread indicates that the maintainer of the plugin is aware of the incompatibility issue is pushing a patch to the plugin repository to fix the issue and in the meantime recommends using a JavaFX 2.2 preview build instead.
I have installed phonegaplib for ios, I created one test project using phoneGap based on application template, but in that, phoneGap.framework is in the red color. I think it is missing. So where can I get this frame work, can any one help me?
Are you sure you're following the official guide?
Create a PhoneGap project (Xcode 4)
Launch Xcode, then under the File
menu, select "New Project...".
Navigate to the "iOS" section, under
"Applications" - then in the right
pane, select "PhoneGap-based
Application"
Select the "Next" button, name your
project and company idenfifier, then
select the "Next" button again.
Choose the location where you want
the new project to be.
Run the project at least once to
create the "www" folder in your
project folder.
Drag and drop this "www" folder into
your project in Xcode, and add it as
a folder reference.
Modify the contents of the "www"
directory to add your HTML, CSS and
Javascript.

Sounds like you are using XCode 4, which is not fully compatible with PhoneGap's default settings. Use this link to have PhoneGap generate a compatible project for you:

In dreamweaver they have a "Reveal in Finder" function that opens a file that you add to the project in the the file management software of the OS (e.g. finder for the Mac). I'm running Zend Studio on the Mac, this seems like a simple piece of functionality, yet I can't find it. Any hints?
This can be done by installing a plugin called PathTools
