I'm trying to upload a package through the package manager but for some reason the a error is thrown that I couldn't find the reason why.
The only way that I found in order to solve the problem is to restart the server instance completely, removing the older packages as well.

Looks like multiple bundles providing the javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuildFactory interface, I would check which of the currently active bundles export this package to eliminate duplicates.

Whenever I try to add a form by using the default backend forms module I get the default message Oops, an error occurred! along with that the following error
TYPO3\CMS\Form\Domain\Configuration\FormDefinition\Converters\AddHmacDataConverter not found
Searching for the issue I get several hits on the Gitlab but these do not provide any solution.
Along with this setup, I've added the forms module as a static include in my top-level template.
do you have a composer installation or an extension manager build up?
If a class is not found you may need to rebuild the autoloader information.
My error turned out to be caused by a corrupt installation. I've had to upload the file AddHmacDataConverter.php in the following path /public_html/typo3/sysext/form/Classes/Domain/Configuration/FormDefinition/Converters. A very weird error indeed.
For those that came here with the same error, make sure to check that folder. Apart from that add the news as a static inclusion in your top domain. You could also follow #Bernd Wilke's idea which s to disable the extension, clear all system caches (and additionally remove typo3/temp/autoload and then active the extension again.
We're using TeamCity (9.0) as our CI server to build, test and deploy several applications. Recently we are seeing occassional (one in every 30/40 builds or so) NuGet (2.8.3) errors as follows:
[restore] The process cannot access the file 'C:\BuildAgent\work\e32cbd0940f38bf.....\packages\Newtonsoft.Json.5.0.6\Newtonsoft.Json.5.0.6.nupkg' because it is being used by another process.

We suspected it has something to do with the same package being referenced in multiple projects within the same solution, but I would expect NuGet to be able to handle this correctly by filtering out duplicates instead of attempting to retrieve the same package multiple times, thereby ending up with write-locks when restoring the packages to the work folder.
As a first step of each Build Configuration we have a 'NuGet Installer' step set to 'restore'. I've tried fiddling with its settings (different 'Update modes', '-NoCache', older NuGet version (2.8.0)), but to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues, and if so, has any suggestions on how to ensure this error does not occur.

I had the same issue with Jenkins and fixed that by adding "-DisableParallelProcessing" to the nuget restore command, the final command would look like:
nuget restore "%WORKSPACE%\Solutions\App\App.sln" -DisableParallelProcessing
Excluding NuGet package files from our anti-malware products resolved this issue for us.
I used the SysInternals Process Explorer utility on the build agents to search for file handles for any *.nupkg files while the builds were running. After several builds I observed the anti-malware products briefly locking these files during the NuGet restore operations. Adding an exclusion to the anti-malware scanning rules prevented these locks as the files were no longer being scanned.
In our environment we use two different anti-malware products on different build agent servers. We encountered this issue with both products.
As far as the error message is concerned, I also came across it.
I debugged the “nuget restore” process, breaking at the point where the .nupkg is copied to the local repository, and then freezing the thread while the file was opened for writing. And sure enough I got the exception in another task, due to the fact that the two packages had Ids where one was a prefix of the other. I filed an issue for this : https://nuget.codeplex.com/workitem/4465.
However, this is probably not exactly your problem, since the error in my case is on reading the .nupkg of the package with the “long” name, and I don’t think there is a package with an Id that is a prefix of NewtonSoft.Json (whereas it is very possible the other way around : there are for instance NewtonSoft.JsonResult of NewtonSoft.Json.Glimpse).
I installed new Newtonsoft.Json and problem disappear
You can turn on build feature Swabra with option "Locking processes" (requires handle.exe). And check are there any files locked after build's finish or not.
If there are no locked files then try to run Nuget using command line build step instead of NuGet Installer. If the issue is reproduced then most probably it means that the issue is related NuGet.
I have a project that I recently converted over to use Entity Framework. I installed the package on my development machine and everything worked perfectly and I continued to re-vamp the project.
I recently pushed out the first update to my production server with the Entity Framework code in it. When I tried to build the solution it threw all kinds of errors, namely this one over and over:
Could not resolve this reference. Could not locate the assembly "EntityFramework". Check to make sure the assembly exists on disk. If this reference is required by your code, you may get compilation errors. bamblack.viewmodel
I went into my NuGet Package Manager, and it says EntityFramework was installed. I then tried to install it through the Package Manager Console, said the same thing. So I then tried to uninstall it. It says it can't locate the package!
I'm sure it's because I didn't do the actual install on the production machine and it's just missing a DLL somewhere, but I'm not sure where. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
Seems that all I needed to do was un/reinstall the references to EF on my development machine and push it out again. Strange that it didn't push them out the first time. Issue was resolved.
Is there any class similar to ProvidersHelper but not for web?
I want to instantiate a collection of providers. Actually I'm using CodeSmith & Nettiers, and the db provider is Oracle. It generated a provider section to be added at app.config, and i dont know why it uses System.Web.Configuration classes or why at this section it says SQLClient instead of OracleClient.
The error that I'm getting is:
"An unhandled exception of type 'System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException' occurred in System.Web.dll
Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'LLPA.Data.OracleClient' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
Any idea or solution is appreciated.
It is probably a bug if it refers to SQL Server and you are using Oracle. I'd recommend logging a bug on the .netTiers issue tracker. I'd recommend taking a look at all of the LLPA.Data.OracleClient project references are being built and ensure that they are in your bin directory of your compiled application.
Check the DLL LLPA.Data.OracleClient is in the bin folder or the GAC. If that doesn't work look into using Fuslogvw.exe.
I hadn't had added the reference of LLPA.Data.OracleClient to my application, that's why it couldn't find it.
Lately, I am trying to use Eclipse more often, but so far I have shied away from it because I found it so difficult to install new packages. Whenever I find and try to install a new package, the errors panel flashes a batch of configuration errors. It requires this or that package to install this one. And when I find that package, it turns out that package requires another one that I don't have...and it's been a daunting problem for me.
These days I've been running into these configuration errors:

JST Web Core Patches requires feature "org.eclipse.jst.web_core.feature ".
WST Server Core Patches requires feature "org.eclipse.wst.server_core.feature".
Specifically, I'm looking for help to figure out how to get around these errors. (There aren't any informative pages in Google for "org.eclipse.jst.web_core.feature.")
More generally, though, I am wondering what alternatives I have to the internal package management system of Eclipse? (If I'm doing it wrong and the internal system is not as difficult as it seems to me, let me know of that as well!) I've heard of Pulse, but haven't used that much.
are you using 3.4 Ganymede? .. the dependencies should be figured out and selected for you .. in 3.1 there is a 'Select Required' button in the Updates window which is supposed to locate and select for you all the dependencies
