Enthought Canopy for Linux High DPI support? - enthought

I'm using the latest version of Enthought Canopy on Linux Mint 17, running on a 11.1 Macbook Pro Retina.
As the title suggests, menus and buttons are painfully minuscule in the editor and Canopy launch window.
Is there any way to increase the size of these so it's more usable? Or is there a fix in the works for it?
Thanks.

missing menu bar in texstudio 2.10.8 on linux mint 17.3

I normally use the most recent version of TexStudio with my Linux Mint system by downloading the source tarball and compiling it in my machine. Recently I upgraded Mint to 17.3 and TexStudio to 2.10.8 at the same time.
However, when I installed TexStudio, the menu bar was not there anymore, I uninstalled and reinstalled the stable version 2.6.6, everything was fine, but upgrading it to 2.10.8 again, menu was lost.
Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?
it worked fine for me, taking the xUbuntu 14.04 package. Linux Mint 17.3 is based on that version of Ubuntu. Its better to use the pre-build package

Where is the HiDPI option in Linux mint 17 "mate"

I installed Linux mint 17 mate in my Macbook pro retina with Virtual box, but the font is very small, how do I enable the HiDPI option in mate?
HiDPI is not supported by MATE yet. Maybe Gnome environment is a better alternative for you.
For now HiDPI on Linux Mint is supported only on Cinnamon.

Ipython option not visible in spyder

I just installed the macports versions of spyder and ipython onto my macbook pro running osx 10.8. There does not seem to be a way to open an ipython console from this version of spyder. That is, there is no mention of ipython in the Interpreters menu, nor in the preferences.
Has someone come across this problem and might know how to fix it? Many thanks.
Adrian
(Spyder dev here) According to this page the latest stable IPython version in MacPorts is 1.0, which is unsupported by Spyder 2.2.3 (our latest stable release).
We are working right now to make it compatible for our next release (i.e. 2.2.4), which will be available in two weeks.

But my Windows continuously crash BSOD critical structure corruption so I've moved to Ubuntu that I installed with alongside Windows before. But this time I met a very confusing error. Every time I use the mouse to drag and drop the item in the preview panet to layout xml then Ubuntu automatic logout immediately. And that is android > 4.0 layout. TinyMCE not working on Mac OS Lion

I recently switched from TinyMCE 3.2.7 to 3.4.7 but one of our users has some issues. He's the only one running Mac OS Lion and he doesn't see the editor at all; all other people (running Linux, Windows, Mac OS Leopard) are seeing it. He's cleared his caches and tried multiple browsers, he even tried running Windows via Parallels but no luck. Any guesses?
Thanks,
Robbert
