Can't login to Umbraco "Login failed for user" - content-management-system

I attmpted to login to my Umbraco build today and received the following error: "Login failed for user"
The console displays:
The requesteds resource does not support http methot 'GET'
It pings back the "login failed" so quick that I'm doubtful it is even hitting the DB.

The login was failing due to redirects forcing a trailing "/"

Anyone got any ideas?
This looks like a problem unrelated to the OpenMapTiles project.
Based on the error, it seems to me some of your extensions is colliding with the login iframe.
There is something about vimvixen in the console. Try disabling it (or other extensions).
It's because the application is down - it's using : http://openmaptiles.firebaseapp.com/ which is not running.
I guess this project is dead, or sleeping.

"Access is denied due to invalid credentials" REST API error. How to solve?

I followed the documentation here: and here: Trying to integrate to a Personality Insights service via Android Java.
However, after the app runs, and using the correct username and password as mentioned in the guide... (the guide is not clear (2nd bullet point in "Before you begin") on which set of credentials to use - It says get the "service credentials" and credentials from the new service created - I tried with both and both fail with the same error below.)

This is the code I am using; I am trying to pass a "text" input to the service.
service = new PersonalityInsights("2017-10-13");
service.setUsernameAndPassword("{myUsername}", "{myPassword}");
Profile profile = service.getProfile(text).execute();
System.out.println(profile);
return profile.toString();
I am using the com.ibm.watson.developer_cloud:personality-insights:3.8.0 dependency.
I tried connecting to the URL in the error (https://gateway.watsonplatform.net/personality-insights/api/v3/profile?version=2017-10-13 ) via a browser. It prompts for a username/password combo. I entered my details from my IBM Cloud Lite service but it throws the HTTP Error 405. Is this how it's supposed to work on the browser?
For someone in the future;
Instead of service.setUsernameAndPassword(username, password);, I tried service.setUsernameAndPassword("username", "password"); and it worked.

Paypal Adaptive Payments 500 proxy error

I'm seeing the following error message when attempting to perform a simple payment using the PayPal Adaptive Payments API and the Explicit Approval Payment Flow in the sandbox environment:
Proxy Error
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /webapps/adaptivepayment/flow/expresscheckoutincontextremembermeflow.
Reason: Error during SSL Handshake with remote server
As per this related post, this issue has supposedly been resolved, but I'm still unable to perform a simple payment in the sandbox environment.
The API call to generate a payKey is returning successfully:
{
'responseEnvelope': {
'ack': 'Success',
'timestamp': '2013-04-01T10:00:33.572-07:00',
'build': '5563463',
'correlationId': '9ddb6d34b8b31'
},
'paymentExecStatus': 'CREATED',
'payKey': 'AP-30241506EH984280M'
}
and the following series of redirects are occurring:
https:// www.sandbox.paypal.com/webapps/adaptivepayment/flow/pay?expType=light&paykey=AP-30241506EH984280M
redirects to:
https:// www.sandbox.paypal.com/webapps/adaptivepayment/flow/payinit?iframecookie=1364835660832&paykey=AP-30241506EH984280M&expType=light
which redirects to:
https:// www.sandbox.paypal.com/webapps/adaptivepayment/flow/corepay
which redirects to:
https:// www.sandbox.paypal.com/webapps/adaptivepayment/flow/expresscheckoutincontextremembermeflow
which gives the 500 proxy error after approximately 210 seconds.
Additionally, if I attempt the workaround of logging into developer.paypal.com in another tab first, I get a 404 error on the initial request:
https:// www.sandbox.paypal.com/webapps/adaptivepayment/flow/pay?expType=light&paykey=AP-45P14958V28124917
I've searched and searched and poked and prodded this issue to death...anyone else seeing this problem, and does anyone have a working resolution?
We are rolling a patch later tonight which we expect to fix this issue permanently.

PingFederate SLO - Status Message: Invalid signature

After I invoke single-log-out (SLO), by calling 'GET' on https://[PingFederate Server Instance]:[Port]/sp/startSLO.ping, my PingFederate server begins making requests to my SP logout services. [I know this because I can see it happening in Fiddler.]
But when one my SPs invokes “https://<PingFederate DNS>:XXXX” + request.getParameter(“resume”); (per #Scott T.'s answer here), I get an error message:
Error - Single Logout Nonsuccess Response status:
urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:status:Requester Status Message: Invalid
signature Your Single Logout request did not complete successfully. To
logout out of your Identity Provider and each Service Provider, close
all your browser windows. Partner: XXXX:IDP Target Resource:
http://<domain>/<default SLO endpoint>
My Questions:
What is this error message referring to?
How can I resolve this error condition?
This error is likely due to a mismatch in configuration between IdP and SP. The signing keys/certificate for SAML messages used at one end, must match the verification certificate at the other end. Check your Credentials configuration on your connection for both IdP and SP. See this section in the PingFederate Administration Guide for some details.

ACS/Facebook Integration - ACS40001: An error occurred while attempting to get an access token from Facebook

Getting the following error setting up ACS/Facebook integration:
HTTP Error Code: 502 Message: ACS40000: An error occurred while
processing a Facebook sign-in response. This may be caused by invalid
configuration of the Facebook application. Inner Message: ACS40001:

I've verified that App ID, App Secret, Site URL and Site Domain have all been set.
For Site Url, we're using https://project.accesscontrol.windows.net
For Site Domain, we're using project.accesscontrol.windows.net
I'm using the following as a guideline:
http://blogs.objectsharp.com/cs/blogs/steve/archive/2011/04/21/windows-azure-access-control-services-federation-with-facebook.aspx?CommentPosted=true#commentmessage
http://www.leastprivilege.com/AccessControlServiceV2AndFacebookIntegration.aspx
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Just checked my (working) settings. Differences I see:
I did not enter a Site Domain over at Facebook
On the ACS side, I have "Application permissions" set to "email" (not sure if you have something entered there?)
