How to change "Manage app" link to point to "Additional app setup"? - google-chrome-app

I'm trying to publish a Marketplace app which requires additional setup after install, but I can't figure out how to change the link in the screenshots below. Basically I want to change from screenshot1 to screenshot2. The manifest docs have no mention of it either.
I've already set the Setup Url in my Google Apps SDK console page.

The presence of the Setup URL in your project should trigger that automatically. Please ensure your project settings were updated.
Update: Upon further investigation, the dialog only shows the "Additional app setup" link when the install is done from the Google Apps Admin console. When the installation is done from the standalone page or the "Integrate with Google" button "Manage app" link is shown instead. However, in those cases clicking on "Launch app" button will take the administrator to the Setup URL if one is configured.

Firebase "Email link sign in" using "Custom domain" is not working. (for Flutter passwordless authentication)

Issue: When tapping on redirect link it gives Page Not Found.
What is expected: Tapping on the redirect link sent to your email should open up the app if it is installed.
Have tried the suggestions from most related solutions on StackOverflow and GitHub.
My custom domain in Hosting:
It is also authurized:
Dynamic links I made:
ActionCodeSettings URL prod project: https://myprodapp.com/login/welcome
firebase.json:
added to info.plist:
Associated domain for iOS
Callback URL:
Android
iOS
Need to mention we have two firebase projects connected to our flutter app - one for the development environment (dev) and the other for the product environment (prod). Passwordless sign in with the firebase default domain works on dev environment for only Android. So seems the coding part works fine.

The browser-default installation prompt for my PWA is not displayed. Why?

I followed all recommended steps for setting up a PWA which can be installed on the user device, following the guideline here: Installable PWAs (MDN):
To make the website installable, it needs the following things in place:
- A web manifest, with the correct fields filled in
- The web site to be served from a secure (HTTPS) domain
- An icon to represent the app on the device
- A service worker registered, to allow the app to work offline (this is required only by Chrome for Android currently)
Still, I don't see the browser-default installation prompt.
How do I find out, why my PWA cannot be installed?
I recommend using Lighthouse, which is an excellent tool for auditing your web app with respect to different categories, including PWA properties. It is also available in Google Chrome in the developer tools (Ctrl-Shift-I / Cmd-Opt-I and select tab Lighthouse).
How do I trigger a PWA audit in Lighthouse (in Google Chrome)?
Choose the category Progressive Web App and then click on Generate report.
Example report
In the example below, you can see that there are some issues present. But the reason, why you don't see the installation prompt is the service worker. Apparently, it isn't registered as expected.
Web app manifest or service worker do not meet the installability requirements

Uninstalling PWA for development testing (windows)

I installed my PWA on windows through developer's console, and now can't uninstall it to test installing it. I've tried removing service worker from chrome, but it will just get reregistered after I open the PWA through windows (if server is on). When I right click on it and choose uninstall it takes me to windows app and features there's no entry for it, meanwhile the actual shortcut for it surely just leads to chrome with app ID in URL. Trying to install the PWA after everything I've tried will not give me the prompt again to add it to homescreen.
url: makpal.now.sh
screen:
The PWA apps reside in apps menu chrome://apps/ of chrome, and quite possibly exclusively under a different tab (a grayish second bar at the bottom of window), which is where you'd get the option to delete them that works.
EASY STEPS to Remove (uninstall) PWA App on Desktop:
1) Open Chrome Browser
2) Click > Apps button
3) Right click > App you want to remove
4) Select > Remove from Chrome... > Remove.
5) App gone. :)
On Mobile: drag to trashcan.
If you installed PWA using chrome then paste below in chrome URL bar and hit enter:
chrome://apps
Right click on desired app and click remove from chrome
Found the list of PWAs here.
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Chrome-Apps
You can delete them from there.
If you have installed to Windows OS using developer console, I assume you have done it using the Chrome menu -> "Install to desktop" (if it comes as "add to desktop, it means your site is not meeting minimum PWA cirteria).
If you have installed in any other way, please be specific on what option you have used. It also contradicts at the end of your question, where you were complaining on "Install prompt" is not coming again for "add to home screen". From all I know, install prompt is not supported in Chrome for Windows yet(I know it works in Chrome for Android).
On your other question on service worker getting re-registered every time you visit, that's how they are supposed to work. They will get registered even if you visit a PWA site(adding to home screen is not needed, it will still register service worker and you get all caching benefits)
You can test all these PWA behaviors for this PWA compliant site -> https://pwa.rocks/
If you need more clarity, please rephrase your question to what exactly is happening and what use case is failing, along with supporting code. A link your your site will be best to debug for the community, if that's publicly available.
The Most useful answer I found: (for chrome)
Open Chrome and go to apps
Right click the PWA you want to remove
Click on "Remove from Chrome..."
I faced the same issue when I was built my first PWA and then when I Open anything else with live server it directed me to my PWA site.
You can also go to you windows control panel \ programs then uninstall from there. ( Referring to the PWA that you installed, not uninstalling the browser )

How can I run my development action on my Google Home?

I built an action and it works well through the Home Simulator but I am not ready to make it available publicly yet. Is it possible for me to put it on my Google Home device and also share it with a few coworkers? If so, how? Thanks in advance!
If you are developing your agent in api.ai you can go to the "Interactions" section and enable "Google Home". There you enable Google home and go to the settings. There you can authorize api.ai and enable the preview. Now you should be able to start your agent by saying "start <your agent name from the dialog before>". However this is restricted to your own Google Account you cannot share that in other ways yet.
Check my screenshot I called my project "Playground" after clicking on "Preview" I was able to start my agent in the web simulator by writing "start playground".

Google App Engine: This application does not exist

I try to upload sample app to Google App Engine with existing progect ID.
Here is GAE screenshot

I'm using the same ID in the progect.
But when I try to upload it with plugin from Eclipse then I recive an error:
eclipse error
The whole error from a console:

This application does not exist (project_id=u'app1-152711'). To create an App Engine application in this project, run "gcloud beta app create" in your console.
Debugging information may be found in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\appengine-deploy7186088524405894873.log
Why I can not upload it?
This is actually the new intended behavior. App Engine will not be enabled for new projects until you go through the app creation flow in the Cloud Console under 'App Engine' to enable the App Engine service, or alternatively run gcloud beta app create from the console.
I just encountered this myself. The project has to be created in the Cloud Console AND you need to go through the project setup in AppEngine. Something must be broken in the API that creates the AppEngine part of the process while uploading. So doing it through the web interface creates the project for you... and then uploading will essentially fill it in.
It never used to be this way, so maybe something changed.
I have the same problem. This is what I did to solve it.
Log in to your google cloud account.
Select your project from the blue header bar.
Click the menu button(the 3 bars) on the top left of blue header bar.
Select IAM - you should permission for App Engine Service account. If not, you have to set it up.
To do that:
Click the menu button (the 3 bars) again
Click the App Engine
If you have not set it up, you will be prompt to do a tutorial.
Cancel the tutorial.
Go back to IAM.
Now you should see that the App Engine Service account added to the permission
Go ahead to upload. Should work now.
Make sure you are logged in with the correct Gmail account. At the bottom right corner of Eclipse you will see which account you have authorized, or you will see "Sign in to Google" - click on it to authorize Eclipse.
