I am trying to install Aptana in my eclipse, eclipse version info says:

I'm trying to install WSO2 developer studios and carbon in my eclipse Helios for developing API2 software, the first issue is the page of wso2 site for download Eclipse Helios with Carbon studio is down, the download links doesn't work. So I have to manually install carbon studio.

I am using eclipse indigo on ubuntu 13.04.

You're trying to install the newest EGit on top of Indigo EE. This is not supported as the newest EGit requires newer Team Provider than can be found in Indigo.
Try installing EGit from the Indigo update site (http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo) or upgrade Eclipse.
I have Eclipse 3.5.2 setup on a linux vm. The install is fresh, I have not added any other plugins to Eclipse. When I attempt to install any version of M2E using Eclipse's install feature from Indigo repository - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo I will get the following error

Is M2E not supported in this version?
The M2E download page states that "m2e is tested against Eclipse 4.2 (Juno) and 4.3 (Kepler) Milestone builds", so possibly not. Why use such an old build in the first place?

I am getting this error, when i try to install the worklight plugin for eclipse. how to solve this dependency
I would recommend you to install Eclipse Indigo package (either Java or Java EE) and then install worklight.
IBM Worklight Studio requires JDT 3.6 or higher. However you are using Eclipse 3.5 Java EE package, JDT can't be updated to 3.6 due to some other requirements.
You can try to update your Eclipse Java EE package to latest firstly, or directly install IBM Worklight Studio into a fresh Eclipse 3.6+.
