gwt canvas element not working in IE 10 - gwt

I have a page which has a canvas element for E-mail signature.
The application is in gwt. It's working on all other browsers, except IE 10.
Attaching screen shots.
I am getting this javascript exception:

Any help appriciated.

According to the stack trace (which is in dev mode), this is about VML, not Canvas. Whatever drawing library you are trying to use is attempting to interact with VML in IE10, which does not support VML.

Refactor rename reverts changes when pressing enter

I am using shift+alt+r to rename a javascript variable.
"Enter new name, press enter to refactor" comes up in a tooltip.
When I press enter, the refactoring should occur, but instead the variable name is reverted to what it was before.
Why?
I got a question about what the error log shows.
Here it comes:

I think it's clear for you now, that the refactor has failed and because it's an NPE it's probably a bug in the JavaScript Development Tools.
I'd suggest opening a bug at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?component=General&product=JSDT&resolution=--- in Product JSDT, Component General.
You'll need to provide a (preferably minimal) js file where this bug surfaces.
Meanwhile try downloading a newer Eclipse/JSDT (no need to upgrade, just create another Eclipse folder and try to refactor your code there) maybe it's already fixed you're just not using the latest version.
Also worth trying just a restart of Eclipse (close all open files prior to restart).
Note: I've moved to Sublime because the JS editor in Eclipse didn't give me proper support/was buggy.

I am getting here in the below part..
interface DatabaseConstants extends Constants {
String[] contactDatabaseCategories();
}
DatabaseConstants constants = GWT.create(DatabaseConstants.class);
This could be a few things first check you have a DatabaseConstants.properties file to store the values, next ensure that the key contactDatabaseCategories exists and has a comma separated list of values. Also might have to create the constants as a stand alone class
UPDATE
Move the interface to it's own .java file
Create a text file called DatabaseConstants.properties at the same level as the .java file
within that you can put
contactDatabaseCategories=Category1,Category2
That should stop that error and provide you a value for more information take a look at constants

Had the same thing here. Resolved it by replacing the Image (<img>) with a Label (<div>) and gave it a background-image style property. Adding and removing the Label from the dom does not throw the exception in IE.
I am also got this exception, i resolved this. In my case i am removing image from parent while doing this in IE8 GWT runing a thread for changing the proeprites on the image that time it is throwing exception. so instead of removing i just made it hidden, it is resolved

I am using Maven2, GWT 2.3 and JavaSE1.6
I know GWT can serialize ArrayList as I have used it countless times so I cant figure out what in world is going wrong over here.
Could you have forgotten to add the servlet and servlet-mapping entries in web.xml or the #RemoteServiceRelativePath annotation on your service interface?
I'd start by making sure your Async, Service, and Impl classes match up to the RPC specification exactly. GWT will throw an error if you did anything (missing parameter, different return type) differently. Take a look at the google documentation on RPC, they sufficiently describe RPC calls (in a quite lengthy fashion).
The RPC interfaces and implementation do match, otherwise you would not be able to compile. I'm quite sure what you put in the ArrayList is causing the problem. Is it a generic ArrayList or a list of certain types? Try using Java Generic (e.g. ArrayList) to help the GWT compiler optimizing your code.

Create WebService Client from URI in Eclipse

i want to make some tests with the Oracle Business Intelligence Webservices. First i want to import them into Eclipse. For that i use this howto:
http://px.pats.no/px/Eclipse_tutorial.html
Until step 8 is everything okay. For the Import i'm using:

But then i get following error:

I have already searched for a solution. It looks like a bug, so that I need a webserver. But i have a Tomcat, which is already running (see screenshot here: http://i41.tinypic.com/ere5vp.jpg)
Does anyone have an idea, how to solve the problem?
Regards,
Sirakov
