I am trying to make a .html page that can work with Microsoft Lync. But, i can't seem to get it to work.
I would appreciate detailed description.
Example:
Open a Lync Window the boss man.
chat with the boss man.
call with the boss man.
Ensure the "Lync click to call" add-on is enabled in your browser. With that the add-on enabled the following will work:-
- Open a Lync Window the boss man.
- IM Chat with boss man.
Notice the "sip:" prefix in the second example.

OK so im just gonna ask this question, as I am at the end of the rope, with hopes someone out there will have some advice.
I have installed the Woocommerce Follow Up Emails plugin on my site, and for the life of me I cannot get it send the email.
The settings I have are:
Trigger: 3 days after the order total is above $1.00
Setting: Customer recieves the email once
There is nothing in the "scheduled emails" of the plugin showing up, however and this is the part that throws me off, in the Tools>Scheduled Actions of the wordpress dashboard i get multiple entries of the below:
which tells me that it the emails are being scheduled but are not being sent out (even though it says, action complete). I have checked the WPMail log nothing, i have checked Cpanel Email Tracking and theres nothing. I have a WP Cron plugin installed that tells me it is functioning correctly.
Does anybody have any ideas/suggestions that i could do or check that I havent done already? Is there something I'm missing?
Any help will greatly be appreciated.
P.S, I purchased the plugin from a third party site and cant ask Woocommerce for support without paying for subscription (which i will do as my absolute last resort)
The plugin works fine on my side, although it is very basic in its functionalities and you reach super quickly its limitations.
I'd suggest you buy the plugin from WC. They tend to have special offers of 30-50% off few times a year. Their support is typically very good and has a live chat so you get answers often directly.
Hope you got it figured out by now.
We are working on project using Google Home.
Details:
We have built certain intents in Dialog Flow. It has certain follow-up questions to get the parameter values, as a multi-turn dialogue. When testing using Dialog Flow, test console, I am asking
Can you help in booking a table: It prompts back with right question (Where do you want to book a table) as configured in Dialog Flow
Where do you want to book a table : I answer - "Some Restaurant". It prompts back with right question (When do you want to book a table) as configured in Dialog Flow
When do you want to book a table: I answer: "Today" . It prompts back with right question (For how many guests) as configured in Dialog Flow.
For how many guests? - I answer: "4 people." It ends the conversation, as configured in Dialog Flow.
The above conversation works perfectly fine as expected.
When I test using the integration for Google Home (using simulator with action SDK) [See how it works in Google Assistant]
Invoke the app (by using the explicit invocation - Talk to [APP NAME]) - App gets invoked with the right greeting message as configured
After that when I ask the questions as mentioned - above - app leaves the conversation? Nothing is answered back.
Not sure why this issue is happening - anything I am missing in the configuration?
Walk through your intents and make sure the 'set this intent to end conversation' is not set to enabled in Dialogflow (and if you're using a webhook not ending there). Look down at the Responses section in DF.
Start with Welcome Default intent, and then check each intent, all follow-up prompts.
For personal gmail accounts, the Web&App activity, when turned on, it automatically gets enabled.
For gsuite accounts, even when the Web&App activity turned on, it needs to be enabled by the admin of that organization. Only after when it is enabled, the simulator will behave as expected.
I think Actions straight up doesn't work for some (all?) Gsuite accounts, regardless of what permissions you set. Google knows but doesn't care. I spent weeks in an Actions support conversation on this topic and they ultimately punted me to the Gsuite team, who couldn't help. See also:
Sorry, this action is not available in simulation
Actions on Google won't respond to explicit invocations
Is it possible to modify email contents in outlook with yasoon?
I need to develop a plugin that opens html+js popup and inserts a link to email that user composes currently. Also I have to get list of recipients.
More details on what I want to archive is in this video(1.5 minutes) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JDh1NdIeUM
if its not possible with yasoon - how can I develop such functionality in outlook 2010/2013?
Your use case is fully supported by yasoon. We do something similar for Dropbox. However a heads up, there is also a way using the new Microsoft "Outlook Apps" to support this functionality. See the "Compose scenario" section. This would also allow you to run your app on Outlook.com website as well. yasoon only supports the standalone Outlook desktop client.
In case you need something more than just a simple html+js view and adding a link, like accessing the calendar (read, write), creating a ribbon button or new popup dialogs, feel free to check out our GitHub repo for code samples any time!
I bielive you can develop an Outlook add-in with a form region where you can choose and enter all the custom information. And then create a hyperlink and insert it in the body. See Walkthrough: Creating Your First Application-Level Add-in for Outlook to get started.
Also you may find the Creating Outlook Form Regions section in MSDN helpful.
I've seen other postings where people can't load "My Selling Tools" and I happen to be in the same boat.
Support hasn't responded yet and I'm hoping to do a demo Monday of the Windows 8/Paypal API integration from http://paypal.github.io/Windows8SDK/ into WinRT apps - hence turning to may favorite net community, stack overflow :)
The link above gives a sandbox account to allow for third party access, so trying to add that account to allow the third party access but can't even bring up the selling tools to do so. I was able to bring up the selling tools from my main login, but not from within the sandbox login.
Once I login to the sandbox environment and try to access "My Selling Tools" it just hangs. The browser doesn't matter, same result across browsers. I get nothing returned but the wait image. Actually anything on the left hand side hangs not just the selling tools. I've tried more than ten times all throughout the day.
Of course, the hope here is that someone from the PayPal Technical team replies.
I can't wait another hour on hold, I just can't.
I was having the same issues getting into any option on the left in Paypals seller tools, but I stumbled onto the solution.
The links on the left are incorrect. They all begin with "www.beta-sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/..."
The issue is that "beta-" in the URL is invalid.
Using Chrome:
1) Right-click on the option on the left you want to get into
2) Click "Copy Link Address" in the pop-up menu
3) Paste it into the address bar
4) Remove "beta-" from the URL (see the "Profile / My Selling Tools" URL example below)
That's it.
INVALID:
https://www.beta-sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-display-handler&tab_id=SELLER_PREFERENCES
CORRECT:
https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-display-handler&tab_id=SELLER_PREFERENCES
Hope this helps.
Dave
I'll make sure this gets escalated. As a workaround, you can log in to your sandbox account and then paste this URL in your browser: https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=_profile-api-access. Could you also reference this post in your ticket if you have not done so yet?
A program I wrote crashes on startup. (Win XP).
A dialog "Please tell Microsoft about this problem." appears. I want to be told about the problem since it's my app.
Thing is, clicking through (clicking link: 'View the contents of the error report'), the "Error Report Contents" dialog doesn't let my customers copy its contents to the clipboard.
Do you know how a user can get a copy of this report to forward to me, the developer?
Don't worry. The developers can subscribe to WinQual. Microsoft will then forward the error reports to them.
Windows Error Reporting is part of Microsoft's Winqual service.
Sign up at the Winqual web site. Instead of just using a username/password to log in, you'll need to purchase an SSL certificate to identify yourself and your organization. This costs $99 if you only need the cert for identification purposes. If you also want to use it to sign code, it's $499.
Run the Microsoft Product Feedback Mapping Tool (available from the Winqual site) on a local copy of your application, and submit the results to the Winqual web site. This registers your application with Winqual.
From this point forward, any errors reported via Windows Error Reporting against your submitted applications are available to you if you log in to Winqual.
Use Alt-printscreen that grabs a copy of the active window, then paste it into word or something.
