How to install, load CUDA driver and set Matlab to do GPU processing on my Apple Macbook Pro Retina running OS X 10.10 Yosemite? - matlab

I would like to use some parallel computing function using the GPU. I tried to use gpuarray function but I have got the following error message:
There is a problem with the CUDA driver or with this GPU device. Be
sure that you have a supported GPU and that the latest driver is
installed.
Caused by:
The CUDA driver could not be loaded.
The library name used was
'/usr/local/cuda/lib/libcuda.dylib'.
The error was:
dlopen(/usr/local/cuda/lib/libcuda.dylib, 10): image not found
Therefore I would like to know how to install, load CUDA driver and set Matlab to do GPU processing on my Apple Macbook Pro Retina running OS X 10.10 Yosemite ?
My GPU is a NVidia GeForce 750M. My Macbook Pro Retina (15") is from the late 2013 generation.
I'm running Matlab 2014b
Thank you for your help and support,
Best,
Adrien
EDIT: thank you Robert C., I followed these instructions and Matlab with GPU seems to work fine now :)

I succeeded following the instructions in the CUDA getting started guide for Mac OS thanks to Robert.

gpiodetect does not find a GPIO device

I have a FT2232H-56Q Mini Module and can't detect GPIOs with gpiodetect using Ubuntu 20.04 and Kernel 5.4.
Seems to be similar to this but it should actually be fixed in Kernel 5.4.
Any help would be appreciated

Can matlab hardware support packages be installed to the 2016a matlab runtime?

I am attempting to build an app that will make use of the ADALM 1000 hardware support package and will run on a 2016a runtime platform.
Can this be done?
Can a support package be installed to the 2016a runtime?
Upon running the App Compiler I found that it had recognized the need for the ADALM1000 support package from the App code and included the support in the build.
I installed the Matlab 2016a runtime on a PC that was not running Matlab and found that the hardware support had indeed installed with the newly compiled App.
This will be very useful if you are building apps to drive some supported gadget.

how to make emulator running prossesor AMD

I am getting the following error when running the emulator like this:
emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Please Ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!
And here I use AMD processors, is there any solution ?
Intel HAXM only runs on certain Intel processors that support Virtualization and ND bit. There are other alternative emulators to the built in one - like GenyMotion

Using MATLAB with OS X 10

I just upgraded to OS X 10 Yosemite but cannot launch MATLAB.
I've tried opening it through terminal with:
/Applications/MATLAB_R2014a.app/bin/matlab
However this doesn't work either. Any ideas?
EDIT: I have found an answer to my question!
EDIT 11/29/2021:
DtecNet, Inc. filed a DMCA complaint on this for some reason. Guess they can't have anybody using MATLAB on Yosemite.
There is a patch out for MATLAB R2014a that I got from a classmate.
The patch allows you to be able to run MATLAB without changing any settings on your computer, just in the MATLAB app itself.
You can download a copy of the patch here.
Unfortunately MATLAB R2014a is not compatible with Yosemite, see http://www.mathworks.it/support/sysreq/roadmap.html. You should upgrade to R2014b.
There seems to be a workaround at I cannot install Matlab 2014a on OS X Yosemite 10.10 public beta.

Genymostion Start with white screen

I have a laptop with i5 configuration and I have a PC with Intel Q33 motherboard and core2Deo. In my i5 its work fine but in Q33 first give me OpenGL error but I upgraded the graphic driver and the problem solved. But in my PC when I start a genymotion device it start with white screen and dost allow any thing to touch...
I have done following solution
upgrade my Graphic Driver
Reinstall VBox of oracle
Reinstall Genymostion and download devices
so it no issue with installation of the genymostion but still i gatting white screen ...
Upgrade your OpenGL Version to 2.0 or higher.
Please Check Requirement of Genymotion and check your system configuration.
In VMbox the android virtual machine is working. and on geymotion having the same above issue.
I have update my video card too .. using win 7
Now I get to know that my chipshet have no updation for OpenGl.
So, It's not going to work for me.
