IntelliJ 14.0.2 breaks GWT super dev mode code server - gwt

After updating IntelliJ from 14.0.1 to 14.0.2 the GWT Code Server stopped working.
Anyone that have the same issue?
I get the following error:

It turned out that jetty server was not updated in my local maven cache.
When I removed in and let maven download it again, it worked!!

CDT Plugin Error ClassNotFoundException

Made a plugin using Eclipse Java (in Windows).
Tested and Exported the plugin.
Imported the plugin in Eclipse CDT (in Linux).
Get the following exception:
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.myUI cannot be found by myJar_1.0.0.201708011131
Any idea as to why? I have been researching this for some time and have tried many many "solutions".
Please advise.

Eclipse Neon cannot start a java debug session

I'm using Eclipse Neon from the release date. Yesterday I got some strange errors in Eclipse and after a reboot of the Eclipse instance everything was gone. I installed Eclipse and my plugins again. Everything is working again but when I launch the Java debugger on one of my project I got the error:
An internal error occurred during: "XXXX".
java.lang.NullPointerException
This error occurs on debugging all my projects also in another workspace. Can someone help me with this? The error is not explaining what the exact problem is.
In the logfile of Eclipse I can found the follow error:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.eclipse.jdi.Bootstrap.virtualMachineManager(Bootstrap.java:36)
at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.launching.StandardVMDebugger.getConnector(StandardVMDebugger.java:560)

I fully removed my previous Eclipse environment. Settings included.
Installed Eclipse environment from a clean install and installed all my plugins again. The problem was fixed.

Internal error for Jetty plugin in Eclipse

When using the Eclipse Jetty plugin (http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/eclipse-jetty?mpc=true&mpc_state=), I started to get the following error:
An internal error occurred during: "Launching myProject".
Unknown scope: test,provided
This started to occur for two separate projects, both on Windows and MacOs X systems. Note that a regular Jetty deployment, as well as the Jetty runner Maven plugin, work like a charm, the problem seems to be with the Eclipse plugin only. The problem persists after upgrading the plugin to the newest version. Changing Jetty versions doesn't help as well.
edit: Thanks for the tips so far. The question is what might be the source of this problem and how to get rid of it. The relevant log message is as follows:
!ENTRY org.eclipse.core.jobs 4 2 2016-04-27 09:01:40.914

Try running Eclipse with a console and debug info to see if more error details are available: add -console, -consoleLog and -debug to your eclipse.ini to achieve this.
Try using the Run Jetty Run plugin instead of the Maven Jetty plugin

Tomcat failing to start with ClassNotFoundException

I'm using Tomcat v7.0 and with Eclipse IDE for a Webapp. When trying to start the server , I get the below ClassNotFoundException

On searching, I found the apache-tomcat-util 5.23 jar containing the above class but after adding the jar to the launch configuration of Tomcat I get a series of other errors. The same server installation works good in a different work space with a different webapp. What is the issue here?
You have broken your installation, probably before you found apache-tomcat-util-5.23.jar and most certainly after adding that JAR file to your installation. That JAR you added was from a Tomcat version that is many years old and incompatible with your newer version.
Remove your existing Tomcat installation (but save the webapps/ directory if you put anything in there you want to keep) and reinstall.
If you are still getting that error, check to make sure that your IDE is configured correctly: Tomcat comes with every JAR it needs to launch, so if it won't start, it's because of a misconfiguration with the IDE's integration.
In my case the only problem was version of Apache Tomcat which I used is Apache 7.0 and when I change to Apache 8.0 It will run perfectly fine.
the exception "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/tomcat/util/digester/Rule" may occur because the server installation was stopped before it was finished.
Make sure of the % of installation when you install the server since nothing appears when we click install and it seems immediate, but in reality it takes a few seconds.
No problem :-)

Error during sbt execution: java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError: JLine incompatibility detected. Check that the sbt launcher is version 0.13.x or later.
It's not really linked to play since I got the same error when I start directly sbt in that directory.
So I tried a couple of things:
removed all sbt related stuff from my home dir and tried to use the sbt script from https://github.com/paulp/sbt-extras/blob/master/sbt -> same problem
removed all jars from my ivy repo dir and started again sbt -> same problem
downloaded a sbt launcher directly (version 0.13.0) -> same problem
tried with java 6 -> same problem
tried to debug sbt to figure out what's wrong but all I found out was that jline does not recognize that it should use a UnixTerminal (which I got working by setting systemProperties) but then again -> same error
It's somehow related to some strange linking I think because the class version for the terminal which should be used seems to be old. At least this is what the jvm is complaining about.
I tried it on a virtual box with ubuntu which worked fine so I think my system is a mess or I did something completely wrong.
Someone any ideas?
I had same problem. My project is using SBT 0.13
Turned out I need to upgrade SBT Launcher to 0.13 version as well.
If you start the JVM with verbose class loading enabled (-verbose:class), that might help troubleshoot where the offending JLine classes are coming from. Perhaps you have a JLine jar in one of your JVM extension directories, probably ~/Library/Java/Extensions or /System/Library/Java/Extensions.
This error can also happen if you use an SBT launcher from 0.12 in an SBT 0.13 project, as suggested in the error message.
Try updating SBT version to 0.13. Just download the sbt tar file and change the path in your .bash_profile file. Try again running sbt command in the project directory. That should fix the issue.
