Orbeon forms editor: "Error at line 32 of oxf:/forms/orbeon/builder/service/toolbox.xsl" - forms

Been successfully using Orbeon 4.4CE for a long time, but today the Form Editor seems to have suddenly broken. Creating a new form (or editing an existing form) shows a partial toolbox missing most of the controls.
Log file reveals this:
INFO ProcessorService - /fr/service/custom/orbeon/builder/toolbox - Received request
ERROR XSLTTransformer - Error at line 32 of oxf:/forms/orbeon/builder/service/toolbox.xsl:
An empty sequence is not allowed as the value of variable $resources-property
ERROR PageFlowControllerProcessor - error caught {controller: "oxf:/apps/fr/page-flow.xml", method: "GET", path: "/fr/service/custom/orbeon/builder/toolbox"}
Configuration is Orbeon 4.4, MySQL persistence layer with MySQL 5.6, Java 1.7.67 and Tomcat 7.0.52 on Ubuntu 14.04. This was working fine as of late last week, and now seems broken on several systems all at once. Nothing in the configuration has changed in several months (as verified by a scan looking for files having recent modification times).
UPDATE: The problem is actually worse than I suspected...I copied an existing, working form from the MySQL orbeon_form_definition table to another Orbeon instance, and the form does not run. The Orbeon log file shows: "An empty sequence is not allowed as the value of variable $captcha" (the form does not use Captcha codes in any way).
We also tried installing a copy of Orbeon 4.7.0CE, and it appears to have similar symptoms.
The same problem is now occurring on three completely independent (but similarly configured) systems - we do not have a way to edit or create new forms using Form Builder, or even to move existing forms around between systems by updating the database definitions.
Any suggestion how to fix this, or even to diagnose where the problem might be?

Today I had a very similar problem.
I created a new form and didn't saw the toolbox controls:
Looking in the log there was the following error:
2018-03-16 10:33:26,212 ERROR XSLTTransformer - Error at line 32 of oxf:/forms/orbeon/builder/service/toolbox.xsl:
An empty sequence is not allowed as the value of variable $resources-property
2018-03-16 10:33:26,239 ERROR PageFlowControllerProcessor - error caught {controller: "oxf:/apps/fr/page-flow.xml", method: "GET", path: "/fr/service /custom/orbeon/builder/toolbox"}
2018-03-16 10:33:26,411 ERROR PageFlowControllerProcessor -
The reason was the name I had chosen for the form: reset-password. I changed the name in something else and the problem wasn't any more.
It seems that the form name must not contain the string "password".

Extbase, Uncaught TYPO3 Exception. Flush system cache solves is for a while

Site works fine. Suddenly it will through an error. When clicking "flush system cahce" the error will go away for a some time. Anything from minuttes to severaƦ hours.
Core: Exception handler (WEB): Uncaught TYPO3 Exception: #1247602160:
Unknown column 'tx_my_domain_model_formular.rel_formular' in 'where
clause' |
TYPO3\CMS\Extbase\Persistence\Generic\Storage\Exception\SqlErrorException
thrown in file
/webserver/typo3/src/6.2.15/typo3/sysext/extbase/Classes/Persistence/Generic/Storage/Typo3DbBackend.php
in line 862.
It is correct that the columns does not exist. But how to preceed in finding the error after this? Where is the sql generated that causes the site to crash?
UPDATE
A check "myParentObj->getChildObj instanceof myChildObjClass" used to work just fine. After changing myParent model to lazy load the ChildObj, then the class of childObj changed from childObjClass to a lazyLoadClass... I am not sure but I guess that is in turns somewhere somehow caused the core error seen in the log.
How to investigate further I simply cannot work out. Eg. store all DB calls in a file og DB to analyze after the error occours.

Please take time to write a good question. For a good question you'll get a good answer. It doesn't have to be perfect (not everyone is a native english speaker) but please reread your question.
Answer
If all fields are defined correctly, just run a DB compare from within the installtool.
If not, you need to define the DB-fields in your extension correctly.
Is this your own extension? When doing the query that triggers the error you could call execute(true) to generate the actual SQL statement and debug from there.

Error Importing a Symfony project in Eclipse

I'm trying to use Eclipse to work with Symfony2.
I'm used to Eclipse in Java but not really with PHP.
When I try to import a project with import wizard, everything is fine until the very few last moments, when I get this error :
As you can see, The error log panel is empty, and there is even no log file in my brand new workspace. (but it would appear if I get another error elsewhere)
Not my goal but it could provide some infos :
If I create a new Eclipse Symfony2 project from scrap, I get a fully working dummy website. Still, there remain 2 "redcross" errors:
cvc-complex-type.2.1: Element 'configurator' must have no character or element information item [children], because the type's content type is empty. (in /app/cache/dev/appDevDebugProjectContainer.xml line 2106) XML Problem
cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'factory'. One of '{"http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":file, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":argument, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":configurator, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":call, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":tag, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":property}' is expected. appDevDebugProjectContainer.xml /rezdfezrdfrezdfr/app/cache/dev line 1265 XML Problem
cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'factory'. One of '{"http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":file, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":argument, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":configurator, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":call, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":tag, "http://symfony.com/schema/dic/services":property}' is expected.
(in /app/cache/dev/appDevDebugProjectContainer.xml line 1265)
Since it is not my goal right now, I'm didn't debug these errors yet, but I plan to. EDIT : as I saw on several SO posts, I disabled my project validators to ignore XML validation. No effect :-(
I think it is not the same as Error Importing a Symfony project in Eclipse with dubture plugin, since I dont get any log.
Do anybody know this problem and have a way to have the import wizard working ?
Thanks for any help.

Kettle getStepMetaInterface() function error in Modified Script with MongoDB Output step

Using pentaho 5.3, Modified Java Script Value step to inject those data.
I want to dynamically set path and names in the MongoDB Output step. Here is my code
var meta = new org.pentaho.di.trans.TransMeta( source_path );
var mongoStep = meta.findStep("MongoDB Output");
mongoStep.setDescription('This is MongoDB Output by Ray');
Alert(mongoStep.getName()); // code is ok until here.
var mongoStepMeta = mongoStep.getStepMetaInterface() // error occurs here
When I want to get the getStepMetaInterface() to use step functions, the error occurs.
java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraint violation: loader (instance of org/pentaho/di/core/plugins/KettleURLClassLoader) previously initiated loading for a different type with name "org/pentaho/metastore/api/IMetaStore"
This error seems to be generated by the violation of .jar.
But when I use those original steps, like "Microsoft Access Input", I can successfully get getStepMetaInterface(). In this way, I can use all the functions defined in AccessInputMeta.java.
From my point of view, this problem may have a relation to the MongoDB Output step, because this is a plugin for kettle, but I am not sure.
Any response is appreciated!!
Yep, it's because of the plugin system. The Modified Java Script step and the Access Input step (among many others) are all in the Kettle engine and share a classloader. External plugins (like MongoDB Input/Output) have their own isolated classloaders. You have to do some voodoo with thread context classloaders and reflection in order to get at the Meta classes for those steps.
Here's an example of the hoops you have to jump through to get at external plugins (the Big Data plugin in this example) from the Modified Java Script step:
https://github.com/brosander/pentaho-hadoop-shims/blob/verification-2/test/verification/jobs/dependencies/ForceHiveToConnectRemotely.ktr
First, thanks to Mass who solves the problem.
Here is his advice:
This problem is caused by jar file conflict.
In pentaho installation there are two jar files:
-lib/metastore-5.3.0.0-213.jar
-plugins/pentaho-mongodb-plugin/lib/metastore-5.3.0.0-213.jar
Just remove the last jar file, this error will disappear.

error in jasperserver :Resource interpreted as Script but transferred with MIME

I know this may be duplicate question.
I have this error when I start my community jasperserver, and load a report has custom visualization component , and this error occur.
disappear. when I call:
http://localhost:8080/jasperserver/reportresource/reportresource?resource=com/jaspersoft/jasperreports/customvisualization/resources/require/cv-component.js
nothing returns, so this may be the problem right ?
but when I start the jasperserver commercial version , this error disappear. when I call:
http://localhost:8080/jasperserver-pro/reportresource/reportresource?resource=com/jaspersoft/jasperreports/customvisualization/resources/require/cv-component.js
it returns the content of this cv-component.js.
any idea ?
the trick (which wored for me after hours of triel-and-error) is to set the proper configuration in jasperreports.properties (on an windows machine):
com.jaspersoft.jasperreports.components.customvisualization.require.js=file:/C:/path/to/require.js
net.sf.jasperreports.web.resource.pattern.customvisualization.scripts=com/jaspersoft/jasperreports/customvisualization/resources/require/.*
See the "file:/...." and "...require/.* specially... (a bit different than in teh jaspersoft docs...)
Cheers, Thomas

Entity framework 6 + network

I have the following DB Model
At home I work with Visual Studio and SQL-Server on my PC. Now I took the PC at work and tried to create an EFModel using a SQL-Server in our network.
Creating the Model at work I get 44 Errors.
First curious thing (for me) is i get a msgbox with "Running this text template can potentially harm your computer.Do not run it , if u obtained it from an untrusted source..." i confirmed with ok (two times for 2 pop ups). Afterwards I see 44 Errors. After a few minutes I get the same msgbox as above again. After pressing OK a few errors are deleted (now I have 32 Errors).
Since I have the german express version I try to translate the remaining errors by structure:
"Public Property WindesName as String" has many definitions with identical signatures.
variable "_WindowsName" creates a conflict with a property "WindowsName" that is an implicitly declared member of class "Name"
I have this kind of errors for every field.
What I tried: I actually wanted to create the Model into a program, that doesnt work. Then i used a blank application, doesent work too. I reinstalled EF from nuget with no effect.
Maybe it has something to do with the model or with the network. Any help is welcome.
Ok, I was able to fix it. I changed Code Generation Strategy to Standard, deleted the two .tt files and rebuild the project. Now it is working.
