I want to add coupon code in sales order grid . As we know Sales order gird build from sales_flat_order_grid table
Coupon_code column is exist in sales_flat_order table not sales_flat_order_grid table.
When I add coupon_code at sales order grid but when i search the coupon code with status column then got this error : Column 'status' in where clause is ambiguous
Note : I am working on existing project not new project
Magento version : 1.7.02
Can you please provid me solution
Thanks
You need to add a filter_index to your addColumn method to specify which table you want to search for status.
I assume the problem is that status exists in both sales_flat_order_grid and sales_flat_order.
There are loads of links on this around the place. Try here or here amongst others.

I am writing a small Crystal Report using 2 tables (TICKET,HISTORY,CUSTOMER) from a database I was given access to. I do not have access to modify the database tables to correct the issue and I am looking to see if this is possible.
The TICKET table is my main table and has a 1 to Many relation to HISTORY table.
The CUSTOMER table has 1 to Many relation to the TICKET table.
Inside the HISTORY table, there is column called Version. Every time a HISTORY entry is added on a TICKET, the Version number is written into this field, ie 21.4, 19.7, etc.
Ideally, the version would be better suited attached to the CUSTOMER table once the entry was added into the HISTORY table, but that change has not been made.
What I am trying to do with my report is group and display my results as follows:
Version Number
Customer Name
I can get this far, but the issue I am running into is, I only want to show the customer on their latest version number and suppress all previous records so I can get an accurate count of how many and which customers are on each version. Is this possible to do?
If you are allowed to create a VIEW in the database, create one that joins Ticket to History, groups on Ticket ID, and returns the Ticket ID and the Max of the Version.
In Crystal, you can then simply joint to that View.
I'm using 2 data sources connected by 'product' field: one source contains category information, other - net sales data. Result is shown attached:
Example is shown in Excel but it's the same in Tableau.
The problem is that I don't need Product column and I just want to see a pivot table like in attached picture.
Is it possible in Tableau?
Recreate the subcategory so you can join on that. On your data source that has both, place product on rows then place subcategory. Copy that crosstab to excel. Use this WHEN THEN Builder found here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60455118/WHEN%20THEN%20builder.xlsx to quickly make the components of a CASE statement formula. Then join the data sources on subcategory. .
I'm a very new user of Crystal Reports with no training but with a very light background in programming.
I have been working on a report which should show me some information regarding the order status of parts within my company. I have modified an existing report which had a lot of the information I was looking for and have added several fields containing more information I want to look up (information like stock, delivery date, suppliers and partnumbers). I have one last field I want to add to the report, which shows me the name of the supplier where the part is ordered.
Problem:
When I add this field in the report, the groups where there is no information for this field disappear. When I remove the same field again, the missing groups return.
I have tried to look everywhere for an option or function which suppresses a group when a field is null but can not find anything. I also have tried to add an isNull function to return a certain value when the field is empty, but with no results. Unfortunately I can't review the returned values because the group has disappeared when I add the field.
This problem might have to do with the fact I started working from an existing report, but I have not been able to find a reason to believe so.
Update
I have made some pictures showing the problematic result and the SQL-Query (I can only link to the folder in Onedrive because I'm not allowed to post more than two links at the same time):

I'm trying to display multiple values for one drive by adding a column for each additional record assigned to a drive. For example, a drive ID is unique but can have multiple promotional incentives assigned to it.
For example, if we go to a university on 1/23/2015, that will a unique event or record in the DriveMaster table, but if we are giving away T-Shirts and Pizza, those two records will be assigned to the drive in the EquipmentDetail table.
In SSRS, I'm trying to create a sub-report that will display the promotional items on one line instead of adding additional lines for each promotional item. See screenshot below.
What I'd like to have happen is have the each drive only account for 1 row, and each promotional item listed in a new column to the right. See mockup in Excel.
Is there a way to handle this? I know there is in Crytal Reports, but I can't figure this out in SSRS. I've tried using a Matrix, but I can't see to get the columns to grow if there are multiple incentives.
I added a column group on the Description field, and it looks like that it is close, but that the grouping will create blank spaces (cells) in it.
Thanks,
You have to set a Column Group for your promotional item in your Matrix.
Hope that helps.
Edit:
It looks like there are some areas that contain no data (because of your groupings)
We can do something like the following:
In your query you can use the 'over'
Select DriveID, PromotionItem, ... ,
ROW_NUMBER() Over(Partition by Select DriveID, PromotionItem, ... Order by PromotionItem)
AS ColumnGroupNumber
Then in the Promotion Item group that you have change the field it groups on to the ColumnGroupNumber (or whatever you are going to call it). Just don't change the field in the detail row, or you will not see the details.
I have used this solution before. I found it here.
I'm trying to show employees at a company grouped by worked and still working (in vs2005 crystal reports).
The user can pass by parameter a list of companies they want to show.
Tables: VRP-COMPANY, VRP-COMPANY-OPPORTUNITY, VRP-OPPORTUNITY-PRODUCT
The record selection formula: {VRP-COMPANY.COMPANY company} in {?companies}
Grouping is done on: VRP-COMPANY.COMPANY company, then formula to decide its working or worked and then on productname.
Now when I run the report I only get to see the companies who have got entries in the VRP-COMPANY-OPPORTUNITY. I want to see the company name (group) even if there are no entries in the opportunity table. How to do this in Crystal Reports? I tried Left join between company and company-opportunity tabel but no effect.
I found the problem. Left join was correct but I had an additional select formula (on opportunity status to be closed-won. Therefore it let out the record. The record can also be null when there are no opportunities.
Should the question be deleted?
