AutoHotKey - Make image appear relative to a set of moving pixels? - autohotkey

Is it possible to create an AHK script that will position a given image (not changing) relative to a different "image" that will be moving constantly on the computer screen? I put the second "image" in quotations because the program would have to constantly search for that "image" or set of pixels that make up that "image" in order to correctly position the first image relative to the second "image".
If it's not possible to do this with AHK, how else can this be done?
The "image" would have to be placed always on top (or above all other programs).

Yes this can be achieved relatively easily.
You will need to create a Loop which performs:
Pixel Search/Image Search
Using the data retrieved from (1), depending on how the image is displayed using AHK, perform a image move function. If you use a borderless window (GUI), you will need WinMove function.

AEM6.4: Meaning of values in image map properties

AEM offers a plugin to create image maps for its internal inplace editor. After configuration the given values are stored into follow forrmat:

The first paratheses are defines the coordinates of choosen shape.
The content within the first quotaion signs defines the target site, within the second how to open it the browser. In the third pair of quotations sign contains an alternative Text for non images display.
What I don't know are the values in second paratheses. Does someone know for what these values stands for?
From the WCM core components Image model, they are called relative coordinates.
They are not standard HTML attributes and are instead populated as data attributes of the area tag within the image component.

Since the map coordinates are fixed coordinates and do not change when the image scales in or not based on screen sizes, the image component’s JavaScript uses this relative coordinates data to adjust the coordinates of the map area whenever the image size is adjusted. This is handled by the resizeAreas() function within the component’s clientlib.

matlab preview of live video and a circle reference at the centre of frame

I have used matlab's preview window in the following syntax:
figure('Name', 'My Custom Preview Window');uicontrol('String', 'Close', 'Callback', 'close(gcf)');
I am able to successfully get the video stream. Now I want to have a small circle as a region of interest to return the average pixel value within this circle. I want this to be stored and named after a click of a button and recalled later for the further processing.
Could anyone guide me where I can start with?
Please note I dont want user to define ROI instead its always fixed as a small circle at the centre of field view. Whatever the colours comes within the circle I want mean values to be calculated and stored as a reference.
Ps: I am not sure I am correct in calling ROI its simple circle in the field view
You might want to try using a Matlab gui instead of a simple figure. Then you could try something like this.

Dynamic grid of images in MATLAB

I'm working on creating a GUI in matlab using GUIDE. However, i'm not exactly sure how to do the following, and was looking for some tips/advice.
Problem
I want to open a directory and display all the images in that directory in the GUI interface when if it's selected. However, since I will never know exactly how many images there are I am not entirely sure how to do this in the GUI.
Essentially, I want to open the directory and all the images to be displayed in a grid on the GUI similar to that in iphoto.
Current code
Currently, I can open a directory fine, and get all the required information as follows:
directory = uigetdir(pwd, 'Directory Selector');
files = dir(fullfile(directory, '*.jpg'));
strcat(strcat(directory, '/') , files.name) %outputs each file's location
I'm just not sure how to translate this information into the GUI without writing numerous handles.axes1. I understand that since I know this info I could loop over them, but would I not have to create the axes to begin with?
You probably don't want to do this with individual controls - the reason is that MATLAB will have to render each and every one, which will be slow if the directory has a lot of images. Clearly, you can only display a certain number of images on screen at once. You would also have to write your own scrolling code (or some kind of pagination control).
If you have MATLAB > R2008, you can put images in uitable cells using HTML:

A different option would be to use the Windows common controls ListView.
A simpler way of doing this would be to have a single image and a listbox of files; an example is here
You can add components to a GUI pprogrammatically. There's more information here.
Each new axes can be added with something like this:
ah = axes('Parent',hObject,'Position',[left bottom width height]);
where left, bottom, width and height define the size and position of the axes. You'll need to change the position for each axes you create and keep track of the axes handles.

The figure Position property controls the size and location of the figure window on the screen. Monitor screen size is a property of the root Handle Graphics object. At startup, the MATLAB software determines the size of your computer screen and defines a default value for Position. This default creates figures about one-quarter of the screen's minimum extent and places them centered left to right, in the top half of the screen.

How to check current emacs window position relative to other windows

I am using S-<up> and S-<down> to run (enlarge-window) and (shrink-window), respectively.
I would like these keys to be sensitive to the position of the current window relative to others. If my frame is split horizontally into two windows, and the current window is the top one, then I would like S-<up> to run (shrink-window) instead of (enlarge-window).
How do I check the position of the current window relative to the others?
See the function (window-edges). It returns a list of the window's coordinates. Just compare the y-axis value with the other visible windows.
You can use (window-tree). It will return not only the size of windows, but also their position , as a tree (in emacs' internals the windows of a frame are kept into a tree strucutre).
