facebook app meta tags cached? - tags

i have created an Open graph storie on my facebook app. I want to to integrate the code to my website...
this is the meta tags i use
<head prefix="og: http://ogp.me/ns# fb: http://ogp.me/ns/fb# rovespier: http://ogp.me/ns/fb/rovespier#">
<meta property="fb:app_id" content="349547121879416" />
<meta property="og:type" content="rovespier:art" />
<meta property="og:url" content="Put your own URL to the object here" />
<meta property="og:title" content="<?php $message; ?>" />
<meta property="og:image" content="http://www.rovespier.com/uploads/videos/images/142367443594.jpg" />
<meta charset="utf-8">
i used facebook debugger. the thing is that (because i use this code for mulptiple pages) in some pages the open graph shows ok but in some shows values like 'sample video' or another image from the one i specified on the meta tag or no image at all. Any idea why is that? Sounds kind of crazy

Start adding a width and a heigt to your og:image. If there is no image width or height set, it may take another image than the one that is defiend.
<meta property="og:image:width" content="200" />
<meta property="og:image:height" content="200" />

Facebook open graph og:image viewed by facebook but not displayed

I have read quite a number of SO post on the topic however my problem still persists : Facebook sees my meta tags as raw tag found but does not display or include image during the open graph display. This is the Url i am trying to post on facebook :
https://holyunions.com/govt-releases-gh-cent-465-million-for-start-of-one-district-one-factory-project-general-language-en-article-118
And This is my output of my code
<meta property="og:title" content="Govt releases GH¢465 million for start of one-district-one factory project - General :. Twum Barimah" />
<meta property="og:type" content="article" />
<meta property="og:url" content="https://holyunions.com/govt-releases-gh-cent-465-million-for-start-of-one-district-one-factory-project-general-language-en-article-118" />
<meta property="og:description" content=""/>
<meta property="fb:app_id" content="532235306919626"/>
<meta property="og:image" content="http://holyunions.com/js/max_john_richeditor/lib/tiny_mce/plugins/openmanager/uploads/images/image_11_04_2017_12_24_02_1491913442-42.png" />
<meta property="og:image:secure_url" content="https://holyunions.com/js/max_john_richeditor/lib/tiny_mce/plugins/openmanager/uploads/images/image_11_04_2017_12_24_02_1491913442-42.png" />
<meta property="og:image:width" content="500" />
<meta property="og:image:height" content="285" />
<meta property="og:site_name" content="Holy Unions : Home of Marriages" />
<meta property="fb:admins" content="100004005747278"/>
The og image properties are well defined however Facebook after displaying them as tags, still does not fetch the image neither does it display the image nor the description in the open graph properties.
How do I display the image that facebook sees as url ?

facebook post no spam link

i watch 1 youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnsanTdY2Lc and i coding follow them but when i post a link on facebook it not show the photo why? here my code where is wrong point i can't event debug it
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
xmlns:og="http://ogp.me/ns#"
xmlns:fb="https://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml">
<meta property="og:url" content="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HJiRD8AiC4k/V_8MznQ6d7I/AAAAAAAADOg/yR2fUN0ja3gPltQ5S_e0NlGZ9gYRzcyyQCLcB/s1600/download.jpg" />
<meta name="googlebot" content="noarchive" />
<meta content="noindex, nofollow" name="robots" />
<meta name="medium" content="image" />
<meta property="og:type" content="website" />
<title>Berani yer....akik ni.........-(video inside)</title>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=uuuuuuuuuuu" />
Try this ;)
Check your url here(URL debugger) to make sure you are providing info as expected by Facebook. Like to share image you need to add og:image property with meta tag.
Why are you adding following meta?
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=uuuuuuuuuuu" />
This will redirect from current url to uuuuuuuuuuu

Open Graph - Facebook share

I use Open Graph tags to share the site. On the desktop does't have problem, but if I use a mobile device is not working properly. Do not take my description and picture. Anyone had any similar problem? How to become equally to both (mobile and desktop) ?
Here is my OG meta tags:
<meta property="og:url" content="http://www.mywebsite.com" />
<meta property="og:site_name" content="MyWebSite" />
<meta property="og:image" content="http://www.mywebsite.com/images/image1.jpg" />
<meta property="og:type" content="website" />
<meta property="og:title" content="My web site" />
<meta property="og:description" content="My description !" />
Try adding ?fbrefresh=ANY_RANDOM_NUMBER after your URL.
Like this :
<meta property="og:url" content="http://www.mywebsite.com?fbrefresh=9999" />
you need to use link for og:url not a meta tag
<link property:"og:url" content="http://www.mywebsite.com?fbrefresh=9999">

Facebook Open Graph with multiple images - doesn't seem to work

What's the trick with Open Graph tags to get Facebook to let you to choose from a list of thumbnails?
Facebook auto-chooses the first image I output in my og tags and doesn't give me the ability to choose a second (or third, etc) from the post. The "Choose a thumbnail" control is not enabled and says 1 of 1.
When I debug the page using the Facebook debugger, it successfully shows me all the images and doesn't report any errors.
As an example, here are my og tags:
<meta property="og:title" content="Page Title">
<meta property="og:description" content="Page Description">
<meta property="og:type" content="website">
<meta property="og:url" content="http://www.test.com/index.cfm">
<meta property="og:image" content="http://www.test.com/images/og-3.png">
<meta property="og:image:width" content="1200">
<meta property="og:image:height" content="630">
<meta property="og:image" content="http://www.test.com/images/og-4.png">
<meta property="og:image:width" content="300">
<meta property="og:image:height" content="300">
Put <img src="image.jpg" /> in your object page's <body> for each of your images.

Facebook like webpage button description

I see the webpage title, link, image, but I cannot get any description. My client want's a describing text when a user has clicked like on the webpage. Is this not possible??
I had to use the old way of sharing since the new doesn't work together with the other things on the site.
I have ran it through the Facebook Debugger and the only problem it states is:
Open Graph Warnings That Should Be Fixed:
Parser Mismatched Metadata: The parser's result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched. Here are the input property =>content pairs that were not seen in the parsed result: 'og:description => the site desc'
However I think this is only because I use <meta name="description"> as well. Because it does fetch and display this information in the debugger:
Raw Open Graph Document Information
Meta Tag: <meta property="og:url" content="http://website.nu/" />
Meta Tag: <meta property="og:image" content="http://website.nu/img/img200x200.jpg" />
Meta Tag: <meta property="og:title" content="website title" />
Meta Tag: <meta property="og:type" content="website" />
Meta Tag: <meta property="og:site_name" content="site_name" />
Meta Tag: <meta property="fb:admins" content="[my fb id]" />
Meta Tag: <meta property="og:description" content="site desc" />
Website source code:
<head>
<meta name="description" content="Page description">
<meta property="og:url" content="http://website.nu/"/>
<meta property="og:image" content="http://website.nu/img/img_200x200.jpg"/>
<meta property="og:title" content="Site title"/>
<meta property="og:type" content="website"/>
<meta property="og:site_name" content="Site name"/>
<meta property="fb:admins" content="[my_fb_id]"/>
<meta property="og:description" content="Page description, expected to output"/>
</head>
<body>
<iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http://website.nu/index.php/&send=false&layout=button_count&width=90&show_faces=false&action=like&colorscheme=light&font&height=21" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:94px; height:20px;" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>
</body>
Try putting the <meta name="description"> tag after the <meta property="og:description"> tag.
The og:description needs to be after the og:image property.
At least that was working for me.
description after og:description or removing the description-metatag didn't change anything.
try to trim your content for example:
echo '<meta property="og:description" content="' . trim($content) . '"/>';
