I try to get my Facebook app live, but when I switch the button to live, there's an error occurred.
You must provide a valid Privacy Policy URL in order take your app
Live. Go to App Details and make sure it is valid.
I already put the valid Privacy Policy and Terms of Service URL. But it is still not working.
I've already searched the topic here about the same problem, it is said that it is a bug, but it's from November last year, is it still a bug or there is a solution of this problem now?

I'm literally going crazy with the new permission system of Facebook.
I am developing a mobile game and I have the code working with the standard access and I would like to start the process to obtain the authorization to use live data but it seem the whole system is broken.
First on some end points like user_friends the Request button is greyed out, it says I need to complete a successful request and wait up to 24 hours, I made hundreds for months it's still locked.
Strange thing it says app review rejected, but I don't remember ever trying the app review and there is no history of it.
So I thought I would try asking for the more basic permission where the button is working, like email and public_profile and it says I must fix the Play store link before going LIVE because it is not accessible.
To fix the link I need to publish an open beta, why is this a requirement? I don't want to do it.
Strange thing I still have a draft of permission request and I have the choice of uploading an apk there, why is it not possible anymore?
Please help
My code is working properly in dev mode, but I can not get approval to use publish_pages or manage_pages. I keep failing every review.
The problem is that the software is to be ran as a cron job and there's really no user interface. This is for an auction website and we want to post a summary of auctions for the next day in our feed.
For some reason they keep saying:
Your screencast doesn't show how the use of this permission directly improves the user experience in your app. Unfortunately we also weren't able to determine this from testing your app manually
Right now, if I have the app in dev mode the post submits successfully, but only my user account can see them, so I've been having to leave dev mode on, let the app post, and then turn the app live.
This is less than ideal. Is there any 3rd party application that has already been approved I can use to post to our facebook page?
It seems like the magic is making sure to mention "this is a server to server application with no user interface" is all that's required to get your app approved. After doing that, it went through without an issue.
About a month ago or so, my facebook account was temporarily suspended due to suspicious login activity (it was me logging in on my own phone via mobile web browser).
Anyways, I managed to verify my identity and subsequently changed my password. Everything else is fine but I have lost all the apps in my developer account which probably numbered between 20 - 30. I have tried submitting the problem in the facebook accounts section but have not gotten a reply since. Has anyone had a problem like this before and how can I get in contact with someone who will actually reply and can help with the problem?
Thanks
p.s. I have found another similar thread but they differed in that they lost their "developer" status and got their apps back after they signed up as a developer again. My facebook account is already signed up as a developer but the apps are nowhere to be found.
There are 2 things you can try:
Go to this page and see if your Apps show up: https://developers.facebook.com/appeal
Ask in the official Facebook developers group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/fbdevelopers
After a few Facebook alerts about my app lacking privacy policies (totally forgot about it and the email address was not my own), my app was taken down. So, I updated the apps Privacy Policy and ToS, saved changes and tried to disable sandbox mode so my app became visible again.
Nothing happened.
It keeps showing me an error message:
Is there something I might be doing wrong? The Privacy Policy URL and ToS URL are the only things I changed, and the app worked fine before.
Thanks in advance
UPDATE
It is not a problem with the privacy policy update, but with the basic app settings. Whe I try saving the app without removing sandbox mode, it still shows me the error. Has anything changed since, or the Facebook service is having problems?
Turns out Facebook no longer accepted the tilde (~) as a valid url character.
The past few hours i keep getting the following message
Please update your privacy policy for MY_APP_NAME to avoid enforcement action. The URL may be missing or returning an error.
Also, be sure your privacy policy displays on your website or app. For more info, refer to >Platform Policy II.3 and this external resource: http://www.applicationprivacy.org/platform-requirements/facebook/.
on the guide lines of the submission i get this ..
These apps are not currently eligible for App Center:
A Page Tab app
A Desktop web game off of Facebook.com
so why i am eligible for privacy update afterall?? and still i have entered all required info in the app details tab and still get an error of invalid submission
Before you can submit your app detail page you must first comply with App Center >Guidelines. Please make sure you have specified how your app integrates with Facebook and >have met all the requirements. Click here to update your integration.
