No connection could be made error in phpThumb() - phpthumb

I'm using phpThunmb to display images from external link. for some images, such type of error occurred as below.
i tried to get the header information of that image as below..
$headers = get_headers($external_image_url);
but the result was empty. how to solve this error? if this image can not be accessed then how to display an alternate "image imageNotFound.jpg" in it's place .

try this code to check if the given image exists or not.
if(file_exists($external_image_url))
{
$image_link = $external_image_url; //if that image exists
}
else
{
$image_link = "imageNotFount.jpg"; //if that image does not exists
}

Loading assets dynamically with Flutter

I'm running a Flutter application with a list of products need to be displayed.
I've an asset folders (loaded in pubspec.yaml) which contains certain of my product images.
I wan't to show the image or a placeholder if not exists
Attempt one :
Image buildImg() {
var img = `assets/img/${product.id}.png`;
if(File(img).existsSync()){
return Image.asset(img);
}else{
return Image.asset('assets/img/placeholder.png');
}
}
Result: condition is always false
Attempt two :
Image buildImg() async {
try{
var img = rootBundle.load(`assets/img/${product.id}.png`);
return Image.memory(img.buffer.asUint8List());
}catch (_){
return Image.asset('assets/img/placeholder.png');
}
}
Result: Working but a lot of warns in terminal.
Is there a better way to dynamically load assets ? Thank's
the Image widget has an error builder which is called when the provided path is not valid,
simply use this code
Image.asset("image path.png" , errorBuilder: (context, error, stackTrace) => Image.asset('placeholder path.png'),),

iOS 10 app crashes when trying to save image to photo library

I'm trying to save an image to the photo library in Swift 3 (I'm working with Xcode 8).
ViewController Code:
func shareImage(image: UIImage) {
let items = [image]
var activityVC: UIActivityViewController = UIActivityViewController(activityItems: items, applicationActivities: nil)
let excludeActivities: [UIActivityType] = [UIActivityType.airDrop,
UIActivityType.assignToContact,
UIActivityType.addToReadingList,
UIActivityType.copyToPasteboard]
activityVC.excludedActivityTypes = excludeActivities
self.present(activityVC, animated: true, completion: nil)
}
When I run the application, and click on the button to take the screenshot (converting it to image, ..., that's all working perfectly), the app asks for permission to access the photo library, I tap the "OK" button, and then the app crashes. The image is not saved in the photo library.
The only clue I get from Xcode is the following:

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
UPDATE
Sharing the image on Social Media works fine, so the problem is specified to saving the image in the photo library.
Add new records in your new InfoPlist.strings file.
<key>NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription</key>
<string>$(PRODUCT_NAME)</string>
UPD: iOS 11 key
On iOS 11, there is a new property called NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription, similar to NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription. See https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/General/Reference/InfoPlistKeyReference/Articles/CocoaKeys.html
Try to force request permissions like this:
PHPhotoLibrary.requestAuthorization { status in
if status == .authorized {
//do things
}
}
do not forget import Photos. Hope this helps.
I found the culprit in my particular case. We are using Leanplum for analytics and push notifications. The Leanplum.syncResourcesAsync method was causing the opening of the photo library to crash. It took a couple of days to find as I wasn't aware Leanplum was doing anything to hook into a user's photo library... which in itself is concerning.
We weren't using the functionality this particular method brings, so were able to just remove the method call and the photo library stopped crashing.

cn1 - get file path to image for share()

I'm trying to use the share() method, including an image, but I'm having trouble supplying the proper path to the image. Where should I put the image file, and what is the path (putting in the default package and trying "jar:///myimage.png" didn't work), and why is this not documented clearly?
image can be stored in storage which is following path for window
C:\Users\userName.cn1
and the image can be read by using following codes
InputStream is = Storage.getInstance().createInputStream("tizbn.JPG");
EncodedImage i = EncodedImage.create(is, is.available());
Loading image from default folder
Image i =EncodedImage.create("/tizbn.png");
Loading image From Theme
EncodedImage current = (EncodedImage) fetchResourceFile().getImage("tizbn.png");
The share API works with https://www.codenameone.com/javadoc/com/codename1/io/FileSystemStorage.html[FileSystemStorage] and not with https://www.codenameone.com/javadoc/com/codename1/io/Storage.html[Storage].
You need to save the file into a file system path which is always an absolute path, we recommend using the app home to store files. There is a sample in the developer guide section on the ShareButton covering this:
Form hi = new Form("ShareButton");
ShareButton sb = new ShareButton();
sb.setText("Share Screenshot");
hi.add(sb);
Image screenshot = Image.createImage(hi.getWidth(), hi.getHeight());
hi.revalidate();
hi.setVisible(true);
hi.paintComponent(screenshot.getGraphics(), true);
String imageFile = FileSystemStorage.getInstance().getAppHomePath() + "screenshot.png";
try(OutputStream os = FileSystemStorage.getInstance().openOutputStream(imageFile)) {
ImageIO.getImageIO().save(screenshot, os, ImageIO.FORMAT_PNG, 1);
} catch(IOException err) {
Log.e(err);
}
sb.setImageToShare(imageFile, "image/png");

Unable to display image from cordova.file.documentsDirectory

I am trying to access an image that i download from remote server. My code to download the file is as below :
var targetPath = cordova.file.documentsDirectory + propp+".png";
var trustHosts = true;
$cordovaFileTransfer.download(url, targetPath, options, trustHosts)
.then(function(result) {
console.log("Local file transfer done");
r = angular.toJson(result.nativeURL);
}, function(err) {
// Error
console.log("error");
});
Then I stored tatgetPath in my local sqlite database. In another page I get this from sqlite and try to display with img tag. But it display like broken Image on Emulator as well as on actual device.
My file url is :
file:///var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/F7B3169B-D8E3-4F62-AD0B-37CFA381F1CC/Documents/home_bg_image.png
I want to display this image as a background image bit I don't understand how to do this.
After downloading the image you have to paste it in platform/android/assets/www/img-- folder to display the image as
var filedirPath = $ionicPlatform.is('android') ? '/android_asset/www/img/' : 'img';
if not find the path of the image and access the file to display for reference please check this link File path
Having any queries reply ..

How to get Image from its native path?

I have store native path of image file to database. Now I need to display that image. For this I am using
imageView.image = Titanium.Filesystem.getfile(rows.fieldByName('path'));
But no effect.
it is giving error as
[ERROR] invalid image type. expected either TiBlob or TiFile, was: NSNull in -[TiUIImageView setImage_:] (TiUIImageView.m:679)
Please suggest.
I'd say it was because the database value you are returning is a string and not the actual image. Doesn't work like specifying an image path for the web. Try this:
var img_src = Ti.Filesystem.getFile(rows.fieldByName('path'));
var img = img_src.read();
imageView.image = img;
You can give native path in image attribute
var u_image = Titanium.UI.createImageView({
image: rows.fieldByName('path'),
top:10,
left:10,
height:20,
width:20
});
This may help you!!!
