I am following the Programming Quickstart guide for the first time. I experienced "out of video memory" error on the first page of this:

and then the next page:

shows a File menu item called "Add Code to Project" but my system does not have that. It does not have anything "Project" or "Actors" like the web page shows.
Without a working quickstart guide I am completely stuck. Help!
Could you maybe post a screenshot of your File-Menu dropdown? Also, what version of the engine do you use?
For the "out of video memory" error you could try and lower the quality setting of your editor (see screenshot).
I finally figured it out. I found this "out of video memory" problem all over the internet, and Unreal has not answered it.
Its actually quite simple. I have two GPUs in my computer, and UE4 grabs the small one instead of the big one. I wonder why they don't know about this and fix it.
All you have to do is right click the UE4 icon and select "Run with Graphics Processor" and then select the best one you have.
Now I suppose that my application will also grab the wrong GPU....

The problem
Hi, I have been experiencing this kind of loading infitely on the window screen: "Application.Reload" since two or three days ago. This just happened spontaneously without any reason. I have been seaching for a solution, but the uniques fixes i had found are not working for me.
The unique not permanet solution that I came up is just use the Task Manager and close up Unity.
The possible fixes that I have tried:
"Just locate the project folder in the system explorer and click on properties" (This only work one time per application or maybe it just do not work.)
"You can check to see if there is any place in your project path that is not in English" (It just do not work.)

As I know, this problem persist as well in any Unity Operation, it can happen on Reload, Importing, Asset Indexer, etc. Is just a problem that doesn't affect Unity, and devs marked it as WNF (We'll Not Fix).
I have been struggling with this problem for some years now and the only solution I found was to close it from Task Manager and reopen it.

Intro:
Hi, I had Visual Studio Code (VSCode) installed a long time back for use with Unity but ended up not using it and opted for Visual Studio instead because that was what my Unity course was using.
I am now learning HTML so I now want to use the Visual Studio Code as the editor.
Problem:
When I type out my HTML code, VSCode is not autocompleting any of my code or giving me any suggestions or colour coding the text.
Troubleshooting steps done:
I completely uninstalled Visual Studio Code including the user data folders: .vscode in users and Code in Appdata/Romaning (which were advised on the visual Studio code website uninstall instructions).
I then installed a fresh version. But the same problem persists.
Update: I have learnt that the feature that I have an issue with is called Intellisense. CTRL-SHIFT-R is supposed to refresh this feature module. So did this and I get the message "No refactorings available". So perhaps I am missing a module or plugin that I am supposed to also install?
I'd appreciate someone's help to solve this.

I just solved my own problem...and it's probably a beginner's mistake...
I discovered at the bottom right corner of the editor, this a menu tray. One of these items showed "Plain Text". On clicking it, it showed a list of programming languages. Naturally HTML was one of them and I upon clicking it. The editor Intellisense auto completion, suggestions etc kicked in.
If I may comment, I wonder why this element is somewhat conspicuous. It's not obvious for a beginner to know to click on "Plain Text" at the bottom right corner without scouring the interface or try to find a third party tutorial video. Perhaps, I can give that as a feedback to the developers.

I've read this article about analyzing runtime performance. The image below is copied from this article. If you check this image, there are yellow highlighted execution time hints for JS files next to each line in the file.
I find this line level profiling feature pretty useful and I would like to try it in my own projects, too.
However, when I open a JS source file in the sources tab, I cannot see it. Note that, I already took a performance profiling snapshot. But still I cannot see this execution time hints.
How can I reveal this feature?

you can try this:
open javascript profile tab (or ctrl+ shift + p on win and type javascript profile)
start to record the site and refresh
stop the record
click on one of the js file

I wasn't seeing the line by line timings from the profiler either, and it was driving me crazy for days.
My code was written in typescript and converted to JScript with source maps using esbuild.
When I turned source maps off in esbuild, the line timings reappeared from the profiler!
The Jscript is close enough to the Typescript so the line timings are still useful.
I could have sworn I'd seen it work with source maps in the past but now I'm not so sure. It would be great if the line timings did work with source maps but it kind of makes sense that they don't.
Has anyone else seen profiler line timings work on code with sourcemaps turn on?
I just downloaded Eclipse. The welcome page asked if I'd like to follow through a tutorial, so I happily started. However, at one point, I right clicked and somehow closed the tutorial, and now I cannot figure out how to re-open the tutorial. I've gone through most of the options under "Show View" and tried restarting the IDE to get the welcome page again, but none of these have worked.
Where on the IDE can I open a tutorial?
This is because Eclipse's tutorials are called "Cheat Sheets". In order to open a cheat sheet, navigate to Help->Cheat Sheets... and select the one you'd like to follow through.
Are there any tutorials or documentation files for drawing Sequence Diagrams with Eclipse MDT-UML2?
I can't put a Lifeline on the page. It took me 10 minutes to figure out that I first have to make a big Iteraction, and then I can put Lifelines into it.
I can't figure out how to make the Participant box wider in the lifeline. Any name more than 4 characters is too wide for the box. When I do the obvious thing of clicking and dragging the handles, the box springs back to its original size.
I can add a Message by clicking "Message" in the pallette and click-dragging an arrow from line Lifeline to another. Now I have an arrow labeled "1: *". I've tried every way I can think of to change that name: double-clicking on it, shift-clicking, ctrl-clicking, changing Name in the properties.
Can anyone help?
As I understand it MDT-UML2 is in the very early stages, it may not work as it should always. Additionally, the sequence diagram is a newer one, see below. There were no tutorial I could find, but I did link to samples below. I also found a comment in the eclipse bug tracker for this feature:
