icCube usage from Libreoffice - libreoffice

http://www.iccube.com/support/documentation/user_guide/integration/integration.php
This works in excel, but being a mac user I would prefer it works in Libreoffice. I have no plans of installing Mac Excel also.
Is there any tool in libreoffice to do this?
I have tried Palo plugin but xmla connection does not work. Is the palo plugin not usable?

First time I hear about this plugin, it would be worth contacting the team behind the Palo plugin as icCube is a standard XMLA server. Hopefully they are not using Palo specific features.
If you can send an export of the logs ( Monitoring / Runtime / Log Files ) to support at iccube we can have a look.

Is there a way to get a list of all Project from MS Project Online (PWA)

MS Project is a bucket of bolts... but sometimes we have to work with what we've got.
I have a MS Project online, Project Web Access (PWA) with no reporting capabilities like PowerBI or anything.
Is there any way to use VBA to get a list of all the projects in the online environment? PowerShell would be great, but I have no admin rights to use them.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/projectonline/export-user-data-from-project-online
OData does the trick.
PowerBI and excel both have PowerQuery functionality with a OData connector, and it solves the problem.
You just use Project's native API:
URLPWA/_api/ProjectData/Projects

If you need to provide webbased access to the reports, you can have a look at the Enterprise Reporting Server. The project is up on GitHub at https://www.github.com/stephanfeb/ers and you can download a prebuilt .war from http://www.computonium.com

eclipse metadata refresh without opening eclipse

We are working with various cloud platform(like. salesforce etc) and we need sync with server everyday. would like to know is there way that we can in our development box to synchronize all eclipse projects through some script without opening the IDE and open the IDE without much freezing.
This would enable to do clean sync( with cloud server) and refresh with local files.
This would enable to do refresh( for non cloud server ).
running a little ant or some kind of script would have development stable unique environment across all developers?
Any help would be appreciated.
It's going to GREATLY depend on what cloud platforms you are using. HOWEVER, i work with the salesforce platform. They offer (per their dev. docs) an ant API jar that allows you to write ant scripts that can essentially check out everything in your org.
Essentially you can use it to check out and check back in pieces and parts of the website. Though this of course only works for SFDC. For other platforms you will need to refer to their API's or write your own tools.

best sql client for linux *box window manager

I am using ARCH Linux and Awesome3 WM.
I am looking for a good sql client for multi database include mysql postgre oracal.
Squirrel sql seems good, but I got a blank window after launch it.
Any solution for this problem or there is another better client for me?
http://henplus.sourceforge.net/
It's not a GUI, but it works with any database that has a JDBC driver (including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle), and I like it.
Several tiling window managers might have problems with java applications. Take a look at this page: http://awesome.naquadah.org/wiki/Problems_with_Java.
Especially try the workaround using wmname.
As a DB frontend you might try DbVisualizer. If you are using Eclipse to develop your application, "Eclipse SQL Editor" might be of interest. Sorry, Stackoverflow spam protection doesn't let me to provide a hyperlink for that one.

Portable USB Webserver

I have project that I'm working on that is going to require a webserver. The webserver will be used to remotely control a presentation using a mobile device.
I see there are quite a few options out there and I'm wondering if someone could provide some recommendations.
My criteria include:
Portable, fits on a USB key
Easy to
run. A user can just click on an
icon, or ideally it would include an
autorun command.
Open Source. I would prefer something licensed under the GPL or similar.
Runs a dynamic server-side language. I see that most have PHP which works perfectly, but I'm open to other languages.
Cross platform if possible.
Right now I'm leaning towards XAMPP, but I would love to hear some suggestions.
XAMPP is perfect for this.
I recommend XAMPP, so I think you are on the right track.
Have not used this, but it looks like it would be right up your alley:
http://www.blackdot.be/?inc=apache/httpserveronusb
Supports perl + php by default.
From the page:
If you are a web developer I'm sure you have had that moment where you went:
"If only I had a web server handy right now!"
Then HTTP Server On USB is something for you! HTTP Server On USB is a fully configured web server that runs from your USB-Key. Plug it in and off you go!
It can be use to show of a website to a costumer, share files with your friends (both ways thanks to DAV) or simply impress people but acting all geeky!
Are you special and do you depend on exotic 3rd party module?
Just drop them in the module folder and edit the configuration file!
Features:
Management Application
Apache 2.2.11
mod_deflate
mod_ssl
mod_security
mod_perl
PHP 5.2.8
ActiveState Perl 5.10
Requirements:
Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 2003
256mb USB-key
I have had no luck with XAMPP Lite or USBWebserver. What is currently working really well is Server2Go. I could never get XAMPP to run and USBWebserver would not allow me to install Drupal or Wordpress.
With Server2Go, I was able to install Drupal 7 on the USB Flash Drive, however, only with SQLite. I did need to go to the php folder and copy and rename the production-php.ini file to php.ini. There is a php.ini setting that needs to be set for the MySQL DB to be recognized. It is running well with SQLite for Development purposes though.
LAMPPIX - looks like not up to date, but should do the job.
I would suggest Apache, pretty lightweight and has everything you'll need (PHP).
