So we are making a website( http://e-haaletus.azurewebsites.net/) for our school project and we are using Facebook to authenticate users. But the problem is that when you are already logged into Facebook then the website will log in automatically. Also if you log out("click me" button) then it logs out from Facebook too. We use https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/v2.2 tutorial for that. And we have no idea how to solve that problem.
the behavior you are noticing is by default
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/login-flow-for-web/v2.2

When I'm trying to log in with my facebook button on asp page (jdk) I'm getting this error:
App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.
I've tried so many solutions available online, but its not working.
So, my login java script is "http://localhost:8003/en/user/login/".
The things that I set on the facebook app are: contact mail, site url:"http://localhost:8003/"
Valid OAuth redirect URIs "http://localhost:8003/".
I have set option "Do you want to make this app and all its live features available to the general public?" to yes.
Does anyone have any idea why it isn't working?
So i made it work. I feel ashamed that it took me soo long to figure it out.
Just had to put javascript for FB login in master page and it is available everywhere on website and localhost:port/ work as valid Valid OAuth redirect URI.
I have made website where people can logon to with Facebook.
Ik keep getting this message every time I submit my request.
Your app's Facebook Login button does not work. Please make sure the
provided test user can successfully and consistently log in with the
Facebook Login button. See more about authentication.
Even though my created test user can login with IE, FF and Chrome.
Can anybody help me?
I am getting the same thing. I think you need to put the facebook javascript code in your website for them to see. I think that it is a bot reviewing your app, not a person, and it does not see it.
I want to integrate facebook api to help in the registration process in my website. It was working fine before - the standard fb login button appears, the pop-up window to login to fb was working, some of the user data are obtained. However after several trials with me modifying the code as the feature isnt fully integrated yet in my site, whenever I press the login button what replaces the fb login page is "This webpage is not available." I already retracted the modifications I made to the point that it was back to the version wherein it was working before. I also created another app and replaced the app id and secret key, still it displays the same message. I do not know what is wrong. Please help.
Update:
I uploaded the project files to another hosting site and it works! Could it be that the previous domain is now blocked?
Please read the other posts, dude... we're all waiting for the FB to fix the issue...
I have created a Facebook application that I don't want to use anymore. I deleted it from my developer account and from the related Facebook page more than a week ago but it still appears in the Facebook search engine.
I know similar questions have been posted, but I have no longer access to the admin of this application, meaning I can't change the user accessibility of the app.
How can I avoid this?
Sounds like a bug by Facebook. You might want to post a bug report here. A solution which might help next time: Switch on the sandbox mode, then delete the app.
Several WP7 apps (like the official FB application) provide their own login dialog and after filling it you get connected to facebook.
Further you are automatically logged in when you call the application later.
In general it's no problem to store the credentials encrypted on the device.
My question - has anyone an idea how to achive what the "offical FB app" does?
I searche around - but found nothing more then "must use the dialog / there is no other way...".
But for sure there is a way - since apps do this.
The "official fb app" also requires authentication.
the "Built in facebook support" works by connecting your LiveID to your facebook, and you still gave it your credentails when you connected it the first time.
There is nothing that exposes the "built in" credentials for any of the accounts (twitter, linked in, etc)
Can you imagine what would happen if ANY app could just automatically log in to any of those apps and do whatever they want?
