How can I make old existing google ad tag responsive. is it possible to make the existing one responsive? - google-dfp

We need to make the old ads responsive to fit in mobile devices, I tried to follow the instruction here to make the google ad tag responsive https://support.google.com/dfp_premium/answer/3423562?hl=en but it seems to work only in desktop application.
My question is, it is possible to make the existing one which is not responsive to responsive or I need to generate new ad tag for responsive.

you can change the style to style="display:block"
and add data-ad-format="auto",
Alternatively, you can generate a new responsive ad and change your data-ad-slot value with your previous data-ad-slot value.
I did the same for my site (www.sipnbet.com) // Check the ad at the bottom of the site
It works FINE :)

How can I add an Ad banner bigger than the one of default in Xcode?

I would like to add an Ad banner to my app but I would like to use not the usual one at the bottom or at the top of the screen, rather this one, that I've seen in several apps:
Is there a way to change Ad banner?
With mobile ads there are two key ad types you can use. The ones at the bottom or top of the screen are known as banners where as the one you posted is known as an interstitial. Admob, by Google, is a very nice option for incorporating ads. However, do your research and see what ad network works best for you. The actual implementation of the code and advertisement into Xcode varies from each network’s SDK.

iOS change CSS of external Site

I'm new to iOS programming and i want to make a simple app thad displays some websites.
But the Websites are not optimized for mobile use and I can't change anything on the original server.
I tought thad the simpelst way would be to change the css from this site to fit my needs.
Is it possible to change the CSS of a site in the webview or so.
Or do i have to make a Proxyserver thad changes everything and connect to it.
Thanks

Rails 3: Render differently if email is opened on an iPhone?

I have an email which renders perfectly on a standard machine. However, when a user opens the email on their iphone there is a gray box that suddenly enlarges and takes up more space than it normally should. Is there a hack that I can use in order to have my html.erb page recognize whether or not it is being rendered in an iphone and adjust itself accordingly?
Its basically the CSS you would have to modify in general.
Follow this link showing which styles etc. are supported on iphone devices and which are not..
In order to get user's browser information, there is a cool gem called Browser. I strongly recommend you to check out its repo on Github.
Once you install this gem,
browser.mobile?
will give you true or false and you'll be able to do whatever you want depending on the answer.

What are the wise and allowed ways to add advertisement to iPhone App?

I will be publishing an App in a few days. Initially I don't want to add advertisements, but can change my mind anytime, so I've thought this. Add a WebView to application and set its image to a dynamic web content. If no ads; I will display a simple logo, but when ads are available, replace the content with them. So there will be no modification to iPhone compiled binary.
Do you think it is allowed by Apple, and a good approach?
If you follow that approach, you will need to at least explain to Apple when you submit the app for review that ads may be enabled via a webservice.
Apple won't like it if you don't tell them that you might modify the apps feature set or behaviour after its approval.
You should be OK as long as you tell them about it.

Google Adsense within native cocoa-touch iphone app

My planned iphone application will work a remote https web service quite hard so until a user decides to upgrade from the free to pro version of my app I need to generate a trickle of click revenue per free user.
I would like to embed a single line adsense widget within a native cocoa-touch iPhone application. The UI control I have in mind might not exist but would work something like this. The control would occupy a fixed portion of my application's default view and would be initialized by my code and provided with key words determined by my application. The control would then periodically ping Google's adsense system and display a single clickable advert link.
If the user was interested in a link a click would result in an exit of my application followed by the opening of the advertiser's link in Safari.
Has anything like this been done before?
You have to use a UIWebView with a Adsense unit inside it. I think when you are setting up a ad unit you can enter keywords.
This is most probably a violation of their terms, though. It may be a better idea to try using something else like http://www.admob.com/.
Since AdSense requires the content of the page it's on to serve up relevant ads, you're likely to get nothing but PSA ads, since Google can't crawl your app.
And like Isaac says, I'm sure it's against the AdSense terms.
Google's Mobile Adsense is on the run:
