I am building a phone gap (Cordova 3.5) app for android and trying to implement facebook login. I have installed the facebook plugin then i was getting errors in connectPlugin.java file then i imported the facebook SDK library in my project. All errors showing in eclipse are gone now but when i am trying to run 'cordova build' the build fails with the following error.

I solved this problem by myself actually the build was failing due to a invalid directory in facebook SDK
Mypath/facebook-android-sdk-3.23.0\facebook\bin\res\crunch
I cut all the contents from the 'crunch' folder and pasted it under 'res' folder then deleted the 'crunch' folder. Then cordova build started working.

I created a new ionic 5 project by using
ionic start myApp blank
When I run the project in browser using ionic serve it has given the following error
Error: NGCC failed
I figured out the problem my self
The problem was when I was installing the latest npm packages
it was installing the typescript: 4.0.2 and thats why the NGCC error
occured
run the following command and it will work,
npm i typescript#">=3.9.2 <4.0.0”
Or in future some one faces this error this is about the typescript version so just install the valid typescript and you will fix the ngcc error

This question already exists:
ubuntu: can't run ionic app on emulator because android SDK doesn't exist
Closed 5 years ago.
I'm using ionic2. When I run
command ionic cordova run android
,I get this error:
✖ Running command - failed!
[ERROR] Cordova encountered an error.
You may get more insight by running the Cordova command above directly.
[ERROR] An error occurred while running cordova build android (exit code 1):
Error: Failed to find 'ANDROID_HOME' environment variable. Try setting
setting it manually.
Failed to find 'android' command in your 'PATH'. Try update your 'PATH'
to include path to valid SDK directory.
Although I had set android environment variable in ~/.bachrc.
When I run command:
echo $ANDROID_HOME in terminal
,I have output:
/home/shimaa/Android/Sdk
That is what I wrote in ~/.bashrc:
export ANDROID_HOME="/home/shimaa/Android/Sdk"
export PATH=${PATH}:/home/shimaa/Android/Sdk/platform-tools:/Development/android-sdk/tools
can anyone tell me what is the problem and thank you in advance
For me I have Android_Home path inside my "Path" as "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\build-tools\26.0.0" After setting up the path, restart your system.
I have developed a working hybrid application in which I am using "phonegap-googlemaps-plugin". This plugin needs as a dependency two other which downloads and installs automatically in the project. The dependencies are:
com.google.playservices and plugin.http.request
Using the Cordova-CLI, installing this plugin with the dependencies will fail building the project the 1st time because of a specific directory in the "playservices" plugin. To overcome this, I have to run "ant clean" in my project and also remove/rename that directory. Now, I am using Intel XDK and uploaded my app and installed most of my plugins successfully and run the application on my device. When I am trying to install the google play services plugin, it fails to build because of the reason I described above (I've run through the logs). How can I overcome this issue now?
I have attached the part of the log that shows the fail error
[mergemanifest] Merging AndroidManifest files into one.
[mergemanifest] Manifest merger disabled. Using project manifest only.

I only used the CLI and didn't mess with any config. Here I tried to install the device plugin like:
$ cordova plugin add org.apache.cordova.device
Fetching plugin from "org.apache.cordova.device"...
Starting installation of "org.apache.cordova.device" for android
Preparing android project
org.apache.cordova.device installed on android.
Starting installation of "org.apache.cordova.device" for ios
Preparing ios project
org.apache.cordova.device installed on ios.
Looks not too bad but however I can't build the project. Just when I remove the plugin with:
$ cordova plugin remove org.apache.cordova.device
Anyone else having this issues?
My Versions:
$ npm --version
1.3.14
$ node --version
v0.10.22
$ cordova --version
3.3.1-0.1.2
$ git --version
git version 1.8.3.4 (Apple Git-47)
I had the same problem, and I solved It creating the project with uppercase in the first letter of project name. Yes, it seems incredible, but this was the solution.
