When sending a request from Poster (firefox addon) in post to production server, this is not able to collect the variables sent in json, because the post is empty.I have also tried to send variables through application / x-www-form-urlencoded, but post to remains empty.
I use paramfetcher of restbundle, but post is empty.
I use :
file_get_contents("php://input");
But the value is array(0){}.
Can anyone help?

I am submitting a request for data from the Binanance API as follows:
https://api.bscscan.com/api
?module=logs
&action=getLogs
&fromblock=24726622
&toBlock=24726632
&address=0x94084b7a8d80b2c3cc0dccd87cb6ae3cc67d364d
&topic0=0xddf252ad1be2c89b69c2b068fc378daa952ba7f163c4a11628f55a4df523b3ef
&apikey=JRYDR6FBWRKY5C8NMZJKFB8GEP1QHFQJQT
However, I can't get any data from this URL. I have double-checked, and I know that the parameters are correct.
Here is an example of using Binanace's API, which works well:
https://api.bscscan.com/api
?module=logs
&action=getLogs
&fromBlock=4993830
&toBlock=4993832
&address=0xe561479bebee0e606c19bb1973fc4761613e3c42
&topic0=0xddf252ad1be2c89b69c2b068fc378daa952ba7f163c4a11628f55a4df523b3ef
&apikey=YourApiKeyToken
Why is that working but mine not working?
I would highly suggest using Postman, which you can use to quickly test requests. I ran your request, with api-key, through Postman and was able to get a 200 response with data. See this screenshot.
Please note I blanked out the api key value. I suggest you do the same in your post unless its fake.
I had to remove the line breaks in the code you pasted. Could this possibly be the issue?
I'm trying to replicate a post request done normally by a website form via postman but the server returns 500 error.
the form website URL that I'm dealing with is here.
what I have done so far is investigate the network request using chrome or safari dev tools, copy the request as cURL, import the cURL in postman and do the request.
what can be the possible reasons for the failure and what are the alternative ways to achieve the same result?
Postman Headers:
Most probably you must have used invalid request body. The browser shows parsed json body and you might have copied incomple request body.
To get full body click view source and copy the full content.
Below is my scenario
1.login - from the response of login I will get one id
2.save answer - a user has to give 16 answers for that I am using loop controller + id which I am getting from login sampler
3. Submit - I need to submit the call if I am getting success on all 16 answers + I have to use response login id
What is the best way to do it in JMeter please suggest
Given you have rest in your tags I believe the server responds with a JSON so you can save the id from the server into a JMeter Variable using JSON Extractor which allows executing arbitrary JsonPath queries to get "interesting" attributes values from JSON.
With regards to sending the requests, most probably you will need to send Content-Type header with the value of application/json, it can be done via HTTP Header Manager
I am sending a PERL POST Request over HTTPS. During sending the request i need to send two things in content one is an authorization token and other is the command need to be executed on the server side.
What should be the approach to send these two things as the content?
Should it be:-
$request->content($token)
$request->content($command)
OR should it be
my #content =($token,$command)
$request->content(\#content)
The module which i am using is LWP::UserAgent and in that i will be creating a HTTP::Request type object my $request = HTTP::Request->new(POST => "<url>"); and in
this object i am sending content.
There is only a single content (request body) for a POST request. So any call of content just replaces the previously defined content. Please have a look at the documentation for LWP::UserAgent::post which clearly defines how to send POST data with multiple values. Also, it might be useful if you understand how forms in HTML work, both on the client (browser) and on the server side. Because only if you know what the server side expects in detail you can create the proper request.
Does anyone know how to create a proxy service that will handle this sort of thing?
What I'm looking for is a path parameter and a post body being formatted similar to this:
POST www.myurl.com/{123}
Post body:
myId=1&myOtherId=2
I am currently passing in an XML document and I'm doing an insert on the http:relative-URI element in the transport. This seems to work.
I am also currently doing an insert on the http:query-parameters for my post body name/value pairs.
I am inserting these on the outbound variable. When I debug, both are showing up and I'm contacting the REST service. I am getting a 400 -- Bad Request error. This happens when the post body is not configured correctly.
Any ideas how to do this?
If you are just Posting an XML, then while creating Proxy Service, Select Service Type as Any XML.
