"Failed to push application, host taken" error even after giving permission - ibm-cloud

My teammate is seeing a "Failed to push application, host taken" error even after I have added her as a user on the domain I have created.
One thing I noticed is that the Roles field for the domain shows only Manager, Auditor and Billing Manager. I have enabled all of those.
I have added my teammate as a Developer in the particular "Space" where the app runs.

I believe you can only use the same url (host and domain) connected to two different apps in the same space. In this case, you will get round robin between the two apps. If you want the team mate to replace the existing app, she needs to push her app to the same app name and the same space as your original app

Try adding a unique word at the end of your application name. By default, the application name becomes the first part of the url - which needs to be globally unique. .mybluemix.net

Also, please make sure she is logged into the same space as the existing app.

Sorry, this action is not available in simulation

My test invocation name is "Mrs Tang", so i input "Talk to Mrs Tang", but it responds "Sorry, this action is not available in simulation"...
Does anybody know How can I resolve this error?
According to the doc:
Turn on the Web & App Activity, Device Information, and Voice & Audio
Activity permissions on the Activity controls page for your Google
account. You need to do this to use the Actions Simulator, which lets
you test your actions on the web without a hardware device.
And I had do what Jeremy Gordon suggested. To add a second google account in the GCP IAM console with a viewer action permission and then login with this second google account in an incognito window for the web simulator to work.
I had a related problem (I could test with my main developer account, but not my test credentials). I eventually got it working with the non-primary account.
The missing link for me was that when I was viewing the simulator, I was actually signed in to two accounts, my primary google account (developer account, shows up in the main frame of the page, upper right corner), and the account I authorized when 'starting' the simulator (email address shows up in the simulator frame), which was my test credentials. The second test account repeatedly gave me the "Sorry, this action is not supported in simulation" message, until I:
1) Added the test account as a Conversation API Viewer & Client in GCP IAM console
2) Visited the 'create link' (the one that comes up when you click share) in an incognito window, and signed into the secondary account there such that I was signed into only one account in that incognito window.
After that, invocations connected to the app.
Make sure you are logged into the same account you used to deploy the test action and that the deployment has been done within the past half hour or so. If you have not set all the information on the Actions on Google Console, you may need to use the invocation phrase "Talk to my test app".
I think sometimes I run into the same error. I get past it by toggling the Active switch off and on.
Same problem I encountered. You must be logged in via the secondary google account. Do logout from the account and login via the account that is paired with api.ai.
why I can't use google action in web simulator
I got this to work by saying "talk to my test app" or typing it in to the simulator prompt, that triggered my app to start in the simulator.
I had the same problem. I needed to set the location first (it defaults to Google-Headquaters), if you are in some other region (like in germany as i am).
Then go on with "Mit meiner Test-App sprechen" (Talk to my test app), or whatever it is in your language!
I did not get this message on my invocation, but on my my second input:"Sorry, this action is not available for your app.".
It turns out the simulator had left the conversation right after the invocation (and it did mention that in the small print).
This happened because I returned a FinalResponse for the invocation. And a final response is pretty final, it will terminate your conversation.
So, after a FinalResponse you can only get back in your action/conversation by a new invocation or a deep link. If you want to suggest questions/inputs, then you should return ExpectedInputs.
You might need to turn on Web & App Activity to let group members use some Google Assistant features.(if you are using organizational account)
https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/7219584?hl=en
If you are using any organization's Google Accounts then there might be an access issue. So use your own personal Gmail account.
Take a look here, organization's might not be given you access. So use your personal Gmail and follow the Docs, you will able to create your agent/ actions and able to test it with simulator as well as in android device.
At time of testing the Google Action you need to set the location to the country which you selected while developing or submitting your Google Action.
By default US is selected in testing but if your action is for one particular country only then you need to select that. You can see in image the field where you can select location

Ejabberd: How to limit the fetching of jabber user directory (JUD)

I'm developing a client jabberd application for mobile(android) using (a)Smack.
Since, in my application, the users are registered by their phone numbers, the application should be able to recognize which contact has a jabber account on the server and suggest him/her for chatting.
After googlling the web I found that there is a jabber user directory (JUD) which I can use to check there is an account for a specific mobile number or not. (I'm using UserSearchManager).
My questions:
1- It seems that there is no record in JUD for a user who has not updated his vCard yet, so I cannot find him. Is there any solution to check the existence of this kind of users?
2- It seems that by using JUD, everyone outside of my application can fetch some important information of users such as mobile numbers, emails, etc. Is there any solution to limit JUD search engine? (for example, getting only "user field" as a input and returning only "full name field" of existing accounts or other useful limitation).
So by this way, I can recognize which person from the contact list has an account on the server and also other people cannot fetch important information of the exiting users.
Any command or advice is appreciated. Thank you.
I do not think it is possible as default, without customizing ejabberd application code.

How to migrate existing permissions to new domain

I am not a developer myself, but conceptually our App has run into an issue.
We have several hundred installs of our App with "Allow" permissions granted to our current domain, which serves the functions of the App... but we are now moving our webservice and App to a new domain for reasons of better marketability (the new domain name is better).
Since we will be offering the exact same service, just under a different name, we would like to migrate the service of the App without having every end-user re-register and "Allow" our App, OR be able to rename the App on the Facebook end (essentially "skinning" or whitelabelling it under the new name).
Is this possible?
Just change the App Domain in the application settings section in http://facebook.com/developers - Keep the old domain and add the new domain as well(just type the domain name, hit enter and then click on save button)
The application will then start working on your new domain without any code change :)
Hope it helps.

Availability of a name for an app in the AppStore

Is there a way to check if a name is available in the AppStore with an HTTP request? Without manually creating the App in iTunes Connect?
UPDATE 2015-01-05, per SarahR:
If you already have an app created, you can use its SKU for the app you want to check, and you'll get an error on submission that that SKU has already been used. If you don't remember the SKU you used for an existing app, you can go to the app details page, choose "MORE", then "about this app". If you don't already have an app created, it is plausible that you could create a dummy app with a name nobody would ever want to use, and then use its SKU to bounce the names you really want to test (though again, be wary of terms of service on that).
ORIGINAL:
The trick to checking the availability of a name while brainstorming is to not fill in the other required fields. Each field is checked individually. You do have to use iTunes Connect — "Manage Your Applications" -> "Add New App" (don't fill in a SKU Number or bundle id); if the name has been reserved, it will give you the following errors:
You must select a Bundle ID.
The App Name you entered has already been used.
provide a SKU.
The second one is the winner, while the other two errors make sure you don't accidentally reserve the name before you're ready.
If you need to automate this process (which is probably against their terms of service), you can use any standard scraper. Mechanize is probably the most robust out of the box, but I think that's another question....
I use Google to check if an app name (or something similar to it) already exists.
Use this as your search query:
site:itunes.apple.com inurl:app clash of clans
(replace 'clash of clans' with the suggested app name of course)
Kaolin Fire's suggestion doesnt work on the latest version of itunesconnect. A work around is to start the creation of a new app and where you fill in all the details and the name of the app you want to know the availability for but using a sku of any of your previous apps.
If the name is available you will only get an error that the sku is already in use. Else you will get 2 errors sku and name both are in use.
Open iTunes Connect
Click 'New App'
Fill out language and bundle id (can be anything)
Enter desired name & SKU of a previous app you have built
Click 'Create'
The name field will return red if the name has been taken.
2020 Update
*For apple developer have another application
Choose any application your own
Click "+New Version"
Click "App Information" (Then you can edit application name)
Input your application name that name want to check available then click "Save"
If you can save without error, You can use this name. (You can change to another name if you want to make this name available again then click "Save")
If this name not available you get error same this
App Annie and Google only give you games that are published to the App store. The only way to do it is go through the entire app creation process, including Bundle ID. This process is horrible as my iTunes Connect is littered with reserved app names that I do not intend to do anything with and will not become available to others until they expire 90 days after registration.
You could try app annie
It requires a free registration. I tried and tested it and does a decent job for iOS,MAC,GooglePlay app name searches.
You can check the availability of an app name and even reserve that name here. Here is a page with more details about checking/reserving app names.

Application Loader.app no longer responding - stuck in iTunes Connect with status: waiting for upload

Bought developer license.
Created app.
Bought another developer license for a Company.
Moved the app to that Company and Deployed it OK (faint memory of fading nightmare).
Made first update to app (in iStore OK).
Gave that Company my iTune login and pw (and they changed the pw) and then they registered me as a developer with them.
Tried to update the app again (using my new login + pw) and all went well until I clicked on "Application Loader.app" - a quick error message flashed on and off and now nothing happens at all when it is clicked on - the app is displayed permanently in iStore (iTunes Connect) as status: waiting for upload.
This is the exact same Macbook used originally. What has changed? Or, what exactly is the relationship between "The System" and a developer?
The fix:-
Got my iTunes Connect loggin back and changed everything back to the original settings and suddenly the Application Loader.app worked all by itself when I clicked on it and it uploaded the update perfectly.
This is what I discovered, by poke-and-hope:
a) That Apple ID that you use for iTunes (and for the app) is used by Applications Loader.app, behind the scenes, along with that Apple ID's password. In other words, once you have created that app and then uploaded it to iTunes Connect, then both app and your iTunes Connect account are locked together by the same Apple-ID and the same pw.
b) If, in a blind panic you lock yourself out of iTunes by frantically typing the wrong pw in more than three times so that a red message always appears saying "This apple ID has been disabled for security reasons." then don't panic even more, just press the "forgot password..." button, you can recover via the usual email or by answering your own security questions. In other words, that message is just a scare-device (or Apple were forced to "disable it" otherwise anyone can disable any Apple-ID they like!)
c) If, you delete your Apple-ID (by creating another user with admin rights and then logging on via that) and then discover to your horror (or wonderful realisation) that Application Loader.app has noticed that it is now missing, you can, you absolutely must, put it back again by creating another admin-rights user and then loggin to that one and change the apple-ID back to the one you deleted (the original one that is also the original-developer-licence-of-the-app), and provided you match it all up properly including the same original pw, then Application Loader.app will acknowledge it correctly and upload your apps again.
d) The reason for lack of any sort of error message in second part of 7) above was because I did not realise that you gotta right-click->quit on the Application Loader.app icon that appears on bottom bar, before you can then click on Application Loader.app in Finder again)(I am still getting used to Mac). When it loads the second time, then a dialogue pops up (and stays there) saying "Directory Services reported the following error: Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly. (-20101). It is all so obvious now but back then, I had forgotten exactly what an Apple-ID was let alone that I owned one of them (actually I own two of them, one with each developer's licence, I think?) I doubt I will forget what an Apple-ID is now! At least not for a month or two anyway.
Go to the Application Loader menu
Window > Run Setup Wizard
You'll be prompted for your AppleID and Password again. As you've found using the wrong authentication can cause problems.
I have the same problem "Directory Services reported the following error: Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly. (-20101)"
I fixed it in the following way:
Quit the Application Loader
Launch the "Keychain Access"
Delete the iTunes email entry from the Password Category.
Lauch the Application Loader -
It just appeared with no error message and prompted the password on next screen.
Hope it helps you.
